The overall experience was truly awesome. I am a repeat customer! I was truly impressed with the way that Brandon attempted to assist me on my goals. I was able to get the service I needed. I will have to have them make a 2nd visit once I have the money to complete my project. They are worthy of an opportunity to bid and complete the job.

Quality of work and attention to detail was top notch. Appreciated that Bobby took the time to actually plan how he was going to attack this instead of getting straight to punching holes in beams and stringing wires wherever. Everything looks like it was born that way. He may not come across as the warm fuzzy type at first, but it’s obvious he cares about what he’s doing and his reputation. Couldn’t be happier.

Sam and crew worked with us on and off for 4 months on a home renovation - from rough electric to final installs. They were awesome across the board. Worked mainly with Chris and Bill, who were always incredibly professional. We always felt that they had our best interests in mind, weren’t cutting corners, open to questions and feedback, extremely patient and great with our kids. We will only prefer to use viva for any electrical needs big or small going forward. Almost felt like having family around! Kids loved it when they would show up. And of all the subs we had working on the house, they were the best. When there were a couple things we didn’t love after install, they came right back over and either changed it or helped to problem solve with us. Really really really worth it. Job well done.

When I called Mack Electric, they immediately responded with a confirmed appointment. The technician Mo showed up right on time to do a free estimate after looking at the items that needed replacing or correcting, there are no trip fees. His estimates were very reasonable and is per job NOT by per hour. I have used other electricians before and either they charged per hour for many hours or $1000 min per job, or they purposefully emailed an estimate for your review, but when you clicked the button to review, it confirms hiring them even though you had not decided to hire them. Mo is certainly a keeper. He will be my go to electrician. Thank you, Mo.

Dom framed out an existing cut out above our fireplace to mount a 65 TV. From planning to finish, he was a true professional. The workmanship is excellent and we couldn't be happier with his friendly reliable service and the result. I cannot say enough about the excellent service Bates Electric provided my family in an emergency. When a fallen tree limb ripped the service line away from my house on a late Thursday evening, it left my wife (who was only weeks away from her due date at the time) and I in the dark. With a little one on the way, multiple animals needing protection from the heat (over 90 during the day), and the weekend rapidly approaching we were scrambling to find a solution. Bates dispatched a professional immediately. The electrician that arrived (Jeremy) was the definition of a professional. He was knowledgeable, fast, courteous, and provided accurate advice on how to resolve our issues. Jeremy genuinely cared about the situation my wife and I had fallen into and stayed engaged in the process from start to finish and then some. IF you've ever had to go through an emergency outage you will know that there are a lot of moving parts involved between the energy company, the electrician and the city/county inspectors. This is where Bates really shined. When the repair work was done, the back office took over to push us over the goal line. While the repairs where done, the energy company was refusing to restore service without an inspection by the city/county. Getting both a permit and an inspection completed on a Friday during a pandemic is one of the toughest deadlines possible. To make things even tougher, the permit office was going through a IT outage that significantly stalled the process. Bates' back office (especially Alexis) stepped up to take on the challenge. Through close coordination and effective communication, they were able to get the entire process fast tracked and completed before the weekend. Bates earned a customer in me and will be my first call for any future needs (especially emergencies).

Had an appointment set up to check out my flood light that hadn't been wired up correctly but no one ever showed or called. Reached out to the office over the course of 3 months and have yet to have anyone come out or even return my phone call!!
