Arthur was quickly dispatched and explained the problem and gave me time to make a decision on a fairly costly last minute repair. Arthur worked until 11:00 p.m to ensure that the job was done correctly and up to code. I would highly recommend the company and Arthur in particular for your electrical issues.

The first visit was to explain my concerns and needs and provide an estimate for the work I required - this technician was on time (gave me a 30 min out call), professional, and answered all my questions. Then I quickly received an estimate through my email to which I could e-sign. After that, they were able to quickly schedule me an appt for the work to be completed. The technicians at this appt were also fast, knowledgeable, and friendly! I was able to get an invoice through my email and pay online - quick, easy, and affordable! Just wanted to say that I have a regular electrician that I absolutely love but was unable to make it and I couldn't wait 7 weeks to rewire the switch outlets I needed to install some smart switches. Ronnie showed up and realized that the issue I was having wasn't as clear cut as we thought and definitely needed some electrical expertise. After rewiring and installing these smart switches, I was able to program them and secure them on my home network and they are functioning as intended. We are having him back in 3 weeks to finish the rest of the house once the remaining switches arrive. Ronnie is now my second favorite electrician and will be using him and highly recommending him to everyone in the Charlotte area who needs a dependable, reasonable and properly priced electrician.

I contacted Bates Electric because I had power outages in multiple places inside my house. They took my information and scheduled an appointment. The morning of my appointment, Bates called to verify someone would be at the residence. Shortly after that, I received a phone call from the technician named Thomas. He verified my info and gave me an ETA of his arrival. He arrived at my home on time and called to verify where he should park. He started his service call paperwork, verified my power concerns, grabbed his tools and went right to work to find the problem. Upon finding the problem, Thomas explained to me what the problem was and what he was going to do to repair it. Once repaired, Thomas went around to make sure all non-powered issues had been corrected. He was very professional and showed to be extremely knowledgeable in what he was doing. I felt I was in good hands right from the start. Bates and Thomas come highly recommendated from me.

Ryan got us up an running after the storm from Ian took down a tree which ripped our panel almost completely off the side of our house. We had his number as Orkin had contracted him for some electrical work on our house earlier this year and he left us his card since we were new to the area and home ownership.

To make a long story short, we will be calling Ryan for any future need that requires an electrician. He was responsive, fast, professional, provided great quality work (old house, so we had to upgrade the panel to pass inspection before Duke would turn power back on), and pursued the city relentlessly in order to get us our inspection.

We highly recommend Ryan.

I got hold of Nate at 8 pm for an electrical problem on the thermostat to my air conditioner. He came out and although initially he could not find the problem, he kept checking and because he did so the problem was found, repaired, and I am so happy. Also great to know that he is available for other jobs too. Will definitely use him again.
UPDATE: Nate's fix lasted only 1 day. Okay, no problem. Sometimes you don't get it right on the first try. However when I called the next day to advise of the problem he said it would be a couple hours before he got to me. Well, it took him 3.5 hours and only after I sent a text reminding that he said a couple hours with no update or communication from him. I feel he is inexperienced when it comes to customer service. Hopefully the problem will not reoccur.
