Jeremy, Richie and Christian were the techs who worked on our home. After a home purchase and long remodel, we needed a very thorough duct and furnace cleaning. The team responded for a quote and were out on site in a couple days. The pricing was a little more than we expected, but the service and follow through was very good. The guys (Jeremy and Ricky)?came out and assessed the heat issue at our home. After diagnostics, the furnace needed replacement but a new thermostat would bring heat to the home in a timely manner. Luis and his collegue Jorge did an awesome job fixing our ac unit. The condensation pump wasn't working properly and he was able to determine the root cause and fix it within 2 hours. Luis was very professional, kind and was very detailed about the services that was provided. Because majority of the work was done in the attic, he was able to provide us with before and after pictures, which we really appreciate. I would highly recommend!
Had an environmental emergency. Wind took down power lines and in the process, destroyed my home electrical panel. Called Pacific Coast after finding them. They responded promptly, we’re courteous and understanding once on scene. Kept me advised and updated on status while we were waiting for the part to are. Neighbors used them as well. Very professional and straightforward. Would definitely recommend this company!

Our 1980s era gas furnace went out on the coldest week of the year for this Aptos area on a Saturday. Coast pacific were the only company to answer my call for help. We ended up needing a new furnace and they did a fantastic job and quickly. Pretty full service company and helped us figure out a few related issues. Jeremy Correa was terrific. They had to return the next day to sort out the older thermostat and replace it with an upgraded one. They were so fast, so responsive. I would definitely recommend and will use them again no doubt.
I recently had Pacific Coast Home Services install my new A/C system and repair the ductwork, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Out of all the companies I contacted, I chose them because of their amazing comfort advisor, Rafael. He really took the time to understand my A/C and airflow issues on the second floor, which no other company did. Even though they had a slightly higher price, I decided to go with them. And I'm so glad I did! The installation and repair went smoothly, and the technicians were thorough and professional. Now, after 20 years of struggling with poor airflow, I can finally feel cool air on the second floor. I can't thank Pacific Coast Home Services enough for their outstanding service and genuine care. The team from Pacific Coast, featuring especially Chris and Cesar, did a great job start to finish putting in a hybrid heat pump for heat and AC. It's great for the environment and we are hoping to be done with exorbitant winter gas bills. This was a complicated job and there were several significant challenges Chris and Cesar had to overcome. Their creativity and persistence kept it moving so the job would finish on time. We also got a cool new Nest Learning Thermostat, which has been a lot of fun to figure out. Do not use this company unless you are made of money. Our furnace failed so I called for service. They charged me $89 to show up (fine, I understand the cost of service businesses), then they charged me $896 for a Diagnostic service which took less than an hour. The conclusion was that repair parts could not be found and the furnace had to be replaced. They provided a replacement quote for $9900. I got 2 other quotes for nearly half that amount.
1) a ~$900 charge for a diagnostic service is just short of robbery (it's immoral)
2) I was able to find the repair parts in question online, whereas the tech told me they were not available (Dishonest)
3) The company clearly was price gouging on the furnace replacement quote.
Avoid this company. They ripped me off.
Luis Martinez was amazing. We needed to have our heating system fixed and he was professional, extremely knowledgeable and considerate. He explained everything and got the job done fast. Would definitely use again.
Working on this project with Angel was a real pleasure. He personally ensured that it was completed correctly and that our concerns were communicated to management. He was punctual and professional and extremely polite. Everything was to our satisfaction and we plan to work with Pacific Home Services for our new HVAC installation.
Rafael did our main pipe drain cleaning and he did a superb job doing so. Not only he did the service but also inspected my water heater and main line in front of my house. Others would have just done the drain cleaning and collected their charges. Suffice to say, good thing he did as now I found I have multiple leaks that require immediate attention. Thanks to Rafael's thorough inspection and recommendations I'm at least aware I have things to address before they get serious. Pacific Coast also had the special on the drain cleaning this month which I couldn't find anywhere else. Other's would have charged me an arm and a leg just for the cleaning.

Carlos and Christian are respectful, courteous, patient, and kind. Becoming “the landlord” is new, so I appreciate all the detailed explanations the technicians give me regarding the maintenance of this house. They were able to work in tight quarters to do their jobs. Their explanations and clarification helped me understand and process of what caused my old house to lose half its power. I hope they are reassigned to complete the next half of the project!
It took months to get this project done and I feel at peace that my home was in good handS while the electricians updated and added wires and breakers. I appreciate that Jaime made the recommendation to add additional circuit breakers solely for my space heaters. Kenneth and Christian came to accomplish that task. They were very patient around the elders and the crying baby who couldn’t deal with the drooling in her room. Christian made good recommendations for where the outlet should be in each of the rooms, taking into consideration the dimensions of our tiny attic. Kenny was quite efficient and diligent in connecting the wires through the attic between the breaker box and the three separate rooms. I know he was really tired at the end of the day but my mom and I appreciate his commitment. Carlos came later to connect the wires to the new breaker boxes. Again, he explained how they work, and he checked each of the outlets to ensure they worked well with the space heaters.
Overall, I appreciate all of the electricians’ hard work, knowledge is, and professionalism. I also appreciate the customer service representatives were patient and receptive asI I inquired about updates to the invoices.
I accidentally dropped a very sentimental piece of jewelry down the drain and panicked. I called a few places and no one could schedule for the day I called—except Pacific Coast Home Services. I got text messages with status messages and even a photo of the technician coming to my house. Rafael was very kind—even bending down to make my jittery dog feel less nervous with a stranger. To get my jewelry was actually something I could have done myself but I had no idea. Rafael showed me how to get into the pipe, and did so without making me feel stupid. He took it as a teaching moment, which I appreciated. I thought the service was very responsive and professional. Definitely calling them again in the future.

We had a major issue with our electrical created by a surge from PG&E. The not only came out immediately, they fixed all the damaged breakers, replaced the thermostat, added a surge protector
I can't say enough about all of their divisions.
The technicians all make sure they put on shoe covers when entering my home, cleaned up after themself

Angel and Oscar are the team working on our kitchen remodel. They are knowledgeable and responsive to my questions and very helpful in discussing options with me when choices must be made. They are on schedule and clean up at the end of each day in a way that allows as much access to the kitchen and appliances as possible while the work continues. We appreciate their work.
I woke up to a noise from my attic HVAC. Called Pacific. Jeremy Correa came out to identify the issue...on time, professional, courteous, informative and friendly. After diagnosis he returned with Luis Martinez to install part. I called at 9am and the problem was solved before 1pm. WOW! Was very pleased with the entire process especially the employees.
I asked simple water heater maintenance with descaling. Their quotes were $1500 for just diagnosing the heater, and $1300 for descaling. Which is way higher price than other places. Also they requested $45 of travel fee… The price range is absurd to me.

Very bad experience with the service. I felt that I was scammed. The technician was an hour late without notice. He spent time to collect by asking a lot of private information which is irrelevant to this repair. This J. Technician starting by asking customer to sign a lot of lengthy e-docs on his I- pad which I am sure most people won’t read to facilitate his charges. He asked for $597 in order to start his debugging on top of the $89 dispatch fees, which I had my suspicions and call other companies in private and found other companies only charge $89 dispatch including debugging found out in 10 mins. Scam customers for more $$$ on a short term gain is never a good idea for a long business.

I called Pacific Coast Home Services in an emergency with my entire house including all bathrooms backed up. TJ was the foreman that was sent with Juan and Carlos. They were all very knowledgeable and quickly identified the issue as a main sewer break in the crawl space. They referred a restoration company and they came to clean up the mess the next morning. As soon as the are was clean, TJ came again with Juan and Carlos in the afternoon and worked into the early evening to replace an old cast iron section with ABS and installed a convenient clean out to avoid issues in the future. They had to make a lot of improvisations to make a good fit as the previous plumbers had cut some corners. They also stayed late to make sure everything was working properly and answered all my questions. It was clear that they wanted to do the job right and cared about me as their customer.
I did get some quotes tat were a little cheaper but I felt that this crew knew what they were doing and cared about the project and I am happy that I made the right choice. It was a terrible place to be without the ability to use any water at our house with 2 kids. But I am happy that Pacific Coast and TJ and his crew resolved the situation in less that 36 hours and I feel confident that aside from unforeseen circumstances I am in great place with the plumbing in the house.

Avoid this company! They send incompetent people who try to gouge you.
The tech who came had no idea what he was doing or what he was saying.
He tried talking down to me, might have thought since I am a female he would get away with spouting nonsense.
Unfortunately for him, I know more about plumbing and electrical work that he seemed to.
Then he tried charging me $395 for coming out, fortunately I had it in writing the estimate was free.

Carlos is a champ. Knowledgeable, quick to quote numbers and really vocal about what can be done and how to do it. Great electrician, would recommend to everyone!
BEWARE: On Jan 18, 2023, technician, Salvador Valencia (he asked me to mention his name when I give a review) arrived with a trainee, Renee. Told them I needed two wall sockets replaced, a pendant light replaced, and to check out the wall socket in our home office. Asked for their hourly rate and he said $150 but he would talk to his manager and see what they can do. They go out to the truck, came back and was approved to give me a package deal and showed it on his I-Pad. Sign here and sign here. I told them again that I don't want to be overcharged, he assured me that all their prices were in a book and offered to all customers. Renee, replaced the two wall sockets in less than 5 minutes each, $295.50 each. Salvador replaced the pendant light in 20 to 25 minutes for $365.00 and cracked the glass which we had to replace. As for the not working wall socket, after spending 15 or 20 minutes, they charged a diagnostic fee of $389.00. Turned out nothing is wrong with the socket it was the small monitor that was not working. I texted, Ayla, the support staff who was courteous and responsive, and asked for the name of the project manager, Amelia Strugala Rojas, who I emailed on Jan 19, 2023. She emailed back on Jan 24, 2023, to stated electrical manager Juan Conchas tried to contact me. But you know how cell phones are, shows all in coming and missed calls. Not one call. Then on Jan 25, 2023, Ms. Rojas assured me that Mr. Conchas would call me that day. Not one call. So here is my review. I was overcharged and made good faith effort to work with this company to recover some of my hard earned money. I would not recommend them as they charged me $1,345.00 for less than 2 hours of work, however, it does come with 20 year warranty.

The team came to install a Tesla Wall Connector and did a great job. My particular installation had some limitations that were overcome beautifully. Very patient throughout the process. Great for a variety of needs - heating, electrical, plumbing... Pricey but worth the investment. We've been using them for two years for our needs and wouldn't call anyone else in South Bay. When dealing with our water heater, TJ was the best.

Called for sump pump not working. At the start, told them that I have already tried getting electric source from two outlets and the pump still not working. Charged Level 2 diagnostics and replaced the gfci outlet just to tell me that the issue is the pump failure when I told them the same at the start. They told me that this how professionals diagnose failures. Disappointing service. Could have given zero if that was possible.
Update: Called the manager of the technicians and as expected neither did they pick the call nor did they return my call. COMPLETELY TERRIBLE SERVICE.

First of all, thank you so much to everyone who helped us get our restaurant up and running again! We don’t know what we would’ve done without you guys’!
For context, my family owns a restaurant in Santa Cruz and we had to close down on a Friday due to a gas leak. Mind you we were supposed to be Very busy! My family and I frantically called many plumbing companies to see if by any luck we would come across someone who would be available to help figure out where the gas leak was coming from/why and fix it as soon as possible because we couldn’t be closed on a Saturday. We also had a wedding to cater! Luckily we came across pacific coast home services. They were able to get someone dispatched that same very day and get the problem fixed the following day in the morning. The certified technician, Robert Barajas was amazing! He was super accommodating and very very nice. He understood the stress we were under and the busy day that followed so he made sure to make it happen and get things fixed. Once again, thank you so much! We were very grateful to come across such great people.
Jeremy arrived prompt and troubleshoot my mom’s HVAC. Turned out to be a bad thermostat and Jeremy replaced with a another thermostat until a permanent part comes in a week. Jeremy wanted to make sure my mom has a working system during that time. Jeremy is very informative in explaining the repairs and also inspect the furnace and condenser to ensure unit operates as designed. Jeremy went the extra mile to provide great service. We are very happy with Pacific Coast and recommend them highly.
I called two days after appointment to let them know Idid not receive their quote and again gave them my email address. To this day I have never received follow up call or a quote for the service I requested.
Salvador and Carlos showed up right on time and proceeded to methodically track down the source of two GFCI plugs tripping. I have had a lot of remodels done on my house, and there are multiple electrical panels and subpanels around here, any of which, in my mind, might have been the source of these issues.
Long story short: they figured out that a switch controlling an outdoor awning, installed decades ago, (and apparently mis-installed) was shorting out and tripping the outside GFCI and an indoor one as well.
After that discovery, it was fairly straightforward, although I still might have that switch re-engineered to prevent this from happening again.
Both Salvador and Carlos were efficient and communicated everything they were doing in an easy to understand manner. I was very happy with their work, and really happy to have my outdoor lights and kitchen plugs working again!

These electricians that I took a chance on saved me and my roommate’s life!
Jaime came over and diagnosed part of the problem. He didn’t try to get me to panic but ensured that everything would be taken care of and that it was a good thing that I called.
Carlos and Richie skipped lunch under Carlos’s advice. They knew this needed to be taken care of.
To state the problem, there were several outlets and lights in my house that wouldn’t turn on because of an outlet that had burnt wires inside the wall that looked totally destroyed!
Both Carlos and Richie explained things in a manner that I could understand and stated very clearly that it could have turned into a fire!
Carlos also knew that I have a tight schedule because I work the graveyard shift so he made me his first priority.
Carlos is knowledgeable but very down-to-earth. He understands things that most people don’t about electrical but doesn’t flaunt it. He even took the time to have a fun conversation after the job was done!
These guys are awesome! Everything was fixed in less than 2 hours and now I have dependable electricians that I can count on!

Last year when the pandemic was very serious, the pacific coast service crew were inexperienced, and they were inefficient. This year, pacific coast sent Juan and Ricky plumber to do the inspection, they checked every detail and how to improve it, the explanation very clear and detailed , It took a long time in each part of the test. I have never encountered any patient and knowledgeable technicians. So from now on , I will appoint Juan and Ricky to serve in the future. They did the excellent job !!

A strange experience to be sure. A nice pleasent man came to my house to look at electrical work I needed to be done. He gave us a price and we agreed to the price and he left saying he would send us a contract to sign in a few days. It's been two weeks and nothing from this company ever came to my inbox. I know I could contact them to get them to send me a contract but I'm not in the habit of begging people to take my money. We will be going elsewhere for the required work to be done.
THEIR TECH CLAIMS THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN ELECTRIC TANKLESS WATER HEATER
I had asked them for an estimate on an electric tankless water heater for a bathroom Angi connected me to them
As soon as we were given their information on Sunday evening
I get an email from them saying “we have tried multiple times to contact you with no success “ ????
Then the tech comes and says there is no such thing as an electric tankless
And then tried to convince me to change my big whole house water heater
And then tried to schill me into paying for a pipe check up
When I refused he says I should sign saying I refused the service (which I never asked for to start with)
He wanted to take needless photographs around my house which I had an objection to
Overall a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience
BTW there are several electric tankless water heaters by reputable companies like Rheem

I am a new home buyer, actually our first home. I was not aware the plumbing in the home was so old, out dated, and there was extensive repairs we needed. I reached out to Pacific Coast Home Services and hired them to do a full home re-pipe. They even upgraded out water heater to a tankless. We even got to finance our project through the company, which helped so much since we just bought the home. The whole process was wonderful, the crew that came out left the home in perfect condition and the project came out amazing. The office staff was very helpful and friendly through the whole project. We are even thinking of hiring Pacific Coast Home Services to do a full bathroom and kitchen remodel. They really do have a one stop shop for everything.
They are super professional and always respected my home and went above and beyond to satisfy me. (I am one of the pretty demanding types and am almost never impressed) They took me back to a time when service mattered and when people would bend over backwards to meet the demands of a client. A superb group of installers worked on my Kitchen and Bath remodel. Always on time and boy are they cleeeean. I have real wood floors that easily scratch and they covered every inch with cardboard and never made a scratch! They were in my home for 2 months every day (week days) until complete. I looked for issues and honestly couldn't find any. Super surprised that this level of service still exists today. I happily paid their top dollar price to get everything exactly as I wanted. You certainly get what you pay for! Highly highly recommend for people that understand value and investment into their home.

I called pacific coast home services due to some clogged drain issues in my home . Call center answered immediately & was very helpful and professional . They got me an appointment for the same day/night . They sent out their licensed techs , Juan Robledo & Rafael Jr. , who took their time and fully explained the issue . All of my drains were with a blockage . They came out at 9pm , used a complimentary camera inspection & had the issue fixed in under an hour . Not only was the issue resolved but they left my house clean !!!! I’m overall very happy with the service PCHS provided .

Please beware of their diagnosis fee. When calling for the HVAC service, they informed about a 45 dollar fee to send someone to diagnose the problem and if I choose to receive their services, the 45 dollar fee will be subtracted from that. It sounded good and I scheduled a service. But the service person who came home told me that I have to pay $400 for the initial diagnosis and that the $45 fee was only for the dispatch. I was really shocked and it did seem bait and switch to me.
I did not proceed and handed over the$45 fee to the service person (who was actually nice and understood my situation).
This company should have told me that it would cost me $400 to even know what the problem is and then pay whatever it takes to actually fix it. Mind you, most places actually charge something like $80-$90 for diagnosis and then subtract that from the actual service. That's not the case with Pacific coast service.
Callers, please beware.

They came with short notice and brought the necessary equipment to clean out the drain pipe. We were not certain of the type of plug and they were ready to work on any typical type.
I had two power outlets breaking down. Kenneth came in and diagnosed it in a very timely manner. He was very friendly and professional and demonstrated great patience in walking me through the ins and outs of the breakdown. He was able to pinpoint the root cause of my circuit while the electrician from another company couldn't. Would definitely work with them again.

Third time is a charm with this outstanding vendor. My sink started leaking and my usual handyman knew it was beyond his expertise, so I called Pacific Coast Home Services. Not only did they instantly remember me as a customer, but they immediately sent the same professional Juan Robledo who is very familiar with my older home and it's infrastructure. He was literally at my home within the hour, something no other service can provide. Because my home is older, and I had just done costly renovations in the kitchen, the faucet fix was not an easy one. I had literally just had the sink refinished which made the job of removing the ancient faucet a task that required a master's expertise and delicate touch. Mr. Robledo was more than up to the challenge and replaced my old faucet with literally not a mark on the newly renovated sink. He also replaced the service lines as they were old and leaking. With Juan, the job is always done right and quickly. I now have a brand-new kitchen, including plumbing and fixtures because of this company and Mr. Robledo who is a true professional at his craft. This is my second review for this company and anyone with plumbing issues should definitely call Pacific Coast Home Services. I signed up for the program they offer and this meant that my second request did not cost me anything for them to come out and ID the issue. I had another old pipe leak and because I asked for the same professional Juan Robledo. It took him no time to locate the leak and it was fixed that very day. Having a plumber basically on call is such a relief, I now know that if another old pipe springs a leak, highly possible as my pipes are very old, I can call Pacific Coast and it will be taken care of immediately. Juan Robledo was again a delight to work with. He is very experienced and respectful of my home and patiently answered all my questions. I really respect the way he is able to explain the problem and how it should be fixed. You could not find a more professional or experienced team to trust your home repairs to and should I ever need their services again, I will be sure to ask for Juan Robledo by name.
First review: You could not do better than to hire Pacific Coast and their terrific team. My leak was very difficult and took time, patience and skill to find. It was also not an easy fix although Pacific Coast still gave me an extremely fair price. We had a kitchen light that wasn't working. The technicians sent to diagnose the issue were professional and courteous, and did a great job explaining additional upgrades we might make to our panel. However, I didn't get a complete set of estimates initially sent over email as I was told I would, and there were details I didn't understand and wanted clarification on (i.e. if the estimates were inclusive of them picking up a new fixture as well, and what the cost would be if I picked it up). I'd sent emails directly to the technician as well as the company's general service line asking for clarification, with no response. When I called the office with my question (as well as the request for a more complete set of cost estimates for different routes forward), I was told I'd get estimates resent with clarification, and although I got more estimates sent over email, as far as I could tell, they weren't complete in answering my questions about what was included. Ultimately I got the fixture replaced by a different electrician who was more responsive, also at around 1/3 the cost.

I have received estimates for everything I need done, and must now investigate financing before I can sign a contract.
We installed a whole-house fan to help combat the heat in our home and we are 100% satisfied with the work done. Every aspect of the job performed by Pacific Coast was first-rate. The estimate was thorough and complete, matching the final amount. The field supervisor, Levi, who completed the job was courteous and professional in every way. Did a full rewire of my house. Worked with my schedule - the fact we had two cats in the house and with our little changes here and there. It was a long three week process and was worried a little it would bleed into a fourth week, but they managed to finish on time. Excellent work especially since it’s an older house and there were definitely some funky areas to deal with. Justin S. was my technician and I can’t recommend him enough. He explained the work along the way, made recommendations as he went and really made the process easygoing. Will definitely call them up again if I need further electrical work.

I had a fantastic experience with the entire Pacific Coast team on a complete HVAC installation and the addition of several new outlets and circuits into my existing unit.
I received several HVAC estimates, and while impressed with all of the companies I spoke to, Pacific Coast really went above and beyond. During the quoting process, David and Josh really listened to what we needed and provided options that were specifically tailored to our requirements. They were the only company that suggested a ducted minisplit system - combining heating and cooling in an efficient minisplit system with the visual aesthetics of ducts (e.g., no big wall unit eye sores). Pacific Coast also came in on the lower end of the quotes that we received!
For my HVAC installation, Abel and Chris were incredible. They masterfully dealt with my old plaster walls and did it all in my attic during the hottest week of the year!
For the electrical work that was completed, Carlos and I worked together to overcome some of the challenges with my existing panel. Although everyone politely mentioned that we should upgrade our panel (we agree, but weren't ready to pull that financial trigger!), they were very willing to work with what we had. With the new HVAC installation, we lost a precious spot in the panel, and Carlos and I had to prioritize my list of new outlets / circuits in the remaining space. He was magically able to find space for everything but one!
All of the installers were incredibly professional and worked harder than I could have imagined. They were also all a real pleasure to work with.
Lastly, I really appreciated that Pacific Coast would text me every time someone was coming to the house about 30 minutes before they arrived. It helped me to plan my days and gave me a heads up of who I'd be working with that day. If anything changed on their ends (e.g., schedules, emergencies, etc.), the project managers were also very prompt in letting me know and were super responsive if I had any questions.
Would highly recommend their services and look forward to working with them in the future!

I needed to replace several old outlets in my home. I found this company on HomeAdvisor. I was able to make an appointment within a day.
They sent out Richard Castenada who was very professional and polite. He took the time to understand what I needed and explained different options I could use that would fit into my budget. He also thoroughly explained the work he would be performing and answered all my questions before he started. Finally, in the areas where there was some minor debris,he asked for a broom and dustpan and cleaned up, which I really appreciated. Overall, great experience, would hire this company, and Richard, again for future projects.
Juan did a great job of explaining my options for my PG&E service upgrade from 100A to 320A, adding 2 EV charging ports and a transfer switch for a portable generator (we lost power for 3 days August of 2020 due to the fires).
Rogelio installed the new panel and next day Eric and his cohort started to pull the wire & install the conduit: I slowed them down asking questions of how and why but they were patient and made some changes per my requests.
Job is not done yet (the above is a LOT of work) but I am very happy with Pacific Coast electricians!

We have a power outage due to over-usage and searched online to find this company. They response quickly and seems very professional.
However, they charge $89 for just dispatching the crew, and charge $393 for level-1 (the minimal level) inspection. It turns out they just found the central electrical box outside and turn on the switch in just a few seconds.
I hope for this type of initial checking that takes almost no time, they can offer a discount, rather than charging $393 for minutes of work. It could be better if they can charge flexibly based on the amount of work, in terms of work difficulty and time spent.
Anyway, for electrical issues, we always prefer to ask professionals to fix, rather than attempting by ourselves, since it is risky and may potentially cost much more.

I had a very good experience with Pacific Coast Electricians today.
The circuit breaker keep tripping since a day ago and cause our fridge to go down every 15 minutes. I made a call to PCE, Sabrina was very friendly to find a technician who can be arrive at my house 1 hour later to take a look.
James Glover was the technician to my house. He was very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. He was able to quickly identify the breaker that caused the problem, and did more diagnose to ascertain the solution. He did give me 3 options. One is changing just the problematic breaker, second is to create a new panel offloading some circuits, and the third one is to replace the complete panel. I had to say the prices are at higher end based on the numbers I collected so far, but in the end James gave me a very decent discount and helped install the replacement breaker, to solve the problem for now and leave us more time to think about the other options.
I am definitely happy with James and the company. If you want quality work to be done, this is the company you can trust.

Jeremy Correa was very helpful and professional, kept his work area immaculate, and gave us very many useful tips for now and in the future.
Richard Castaneda came by our place after we experienced a few days of really weird electrical behaviour. He was professional and thorough, making sure he completely understood our electrical setup (it's really old and has had a few changes over the years!). He spent hours investigating the different connections, wires, and circuits that had accumulated over the years so he had a clear, holistic picture of the whole house. He was able to work his magic to restore power to our essential functions, which we are really grateful for.
Richard very patiently spent a lot of time explaining exactly what the issues were, how he addressed them, and walking through our long-term options options to address them. He sent really detailed pictures and videos documenting everything.
It's clear that Richard loves his job, is really knowledgable, and wants to help. We're really thankful for his work!
I had a mini-split HVAC system installed in my wine cellar by Omar, Jesus and Eric. Before they arrived I received an email stating who the technician leading the job would be along with their picture. The project involved installing a remote condenser unit outside and the main head unit in the cellar. They also had to tap into a proper drain pit for the condensate. I'm very particular about quality and attention to detail. The team did a fantastic job making a very clean and well integrated installation, without damaging my wooden wine racking system. The job was done efficiently and quickly and they communicated well with me about my expectations and how things would be done. Overall I'm very satisfied and definitely recommend them.
We called Pacific Coast Electric to see if they could help us out with our issue, and they were willing to bring someone out to inspect our property. The customer service representative claimed that it cost $89 for inspection by the technician, and that it could be used towards a fix.
When the technician came over, he did initial inspection of our exterior panel. Nothing wrong there. When we asked him to inspect the attic, he did not heed our suggestion (even though it was where the real issue was). He ended up spending almost 4 hours testing other wall plugs throughout our house and could not identify the root cause of our electrical issues. In the process, he increased the cost of our inspection to $465 due to the more involved diagnosis (despite the $89 that the customer service representative claimed over the phone). And then he said that in order to solve our issue, we would need to spend $8k to install a new panel and sub-panel.
We paid the $465 for the inspection but we declined the $8k option because we felt like it was a terrible value proposition - and it did not actually solve the root issue. We found someone else who identified the issue and fixed it under a hour - for less than $200. And yes, the real issue was a loose wire - in the attic.
This is rather unfortunate because I went on Google and saw the positive reviews for Pacific Coast, but what I experienced was an inaccurate and overpriced diagnostic.
Pacific Coast did a great job with our lighting install. Justin and Andrew were both very informative and friendly. They were also very good with our dogs, which was a huge plus. Price was a little higher than I initially anticipated, but their professionalism made it worth it. I would hire them again.
All the professionals at Pacific Coast Home Services were top notch (special shout outs to Chris, Ceasar, Edgar, Augus and Ben). They were knowledgeable, timely, courteous, and professional. They were able to install our A/C in just a few days. When we were not happy with the the cooling in one of the rooms, we called them on a Saturday. They were able to get somebody to us on the same day (in two hours) to diagnose the problem and then fix it. This is the kind of company that obvious takes time to properly train knowledgeable, courteous, respectful employees who take pride in their work. Even though not all the equipment arrived as timely as we would have liked due to supply issues during the pandemic, the crew made the most of their time to complete all the work they could get done. They were efficient, kind and courteous and I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a great HVAC company.

Raymond Porras was one of the best technicians we've ever worked with across any service we've had to our home. A few things around the house (A/C, dishwasher, lights flickering...) stopped working within a few days from what it seemed to be an inability from the system to draw too much power, although it would be hard to pin point what it was exactly since each of them was in different circuits.
I contacted Pacific Coast and they sent Michael Merritt. He arrived on-time and was very professional. Most importantly, he went above and beyond to help me with the issue. My electrical panel is very old (30+ years), but Mike instead of just saying I need to replace it (which is very expensive) and write a report, he took the time to look at each of the affected systems in detail. It turns out that with a few adjustments (new fuse, tightening some wiring connections) everything is back to normal. He was also very patient answering all my questions and he did not charge anything since according to him everything was just minor adjustments. It is clear that in the long run I will have to replace my electrical panel, but now I can plan that with time instead of rushing it. I will definitely use PC again for any electrical issues in the house.

We called your company on Saturday December 21 to come out and check on a braker that we could not get to work. The breaker had tripped and taken out power to our kitchen outlets. I felt it would need to be replaced as I could not get it to stay on. Breakers do need to be replaced from time to time. The technician came by at 12:30 on that day and I showed him our fuse box and the tripped breaker. He took a look and wanted to see the effected area in the kitchen. He took pictures of the outlets and tested every outlet for power and agreed that they were not working. He then suggested that he would need to do a diagnostic test and it will cost extra money. He felt that since our house was over 30 years old it could be that we needed to re wore the house. He wanted me to see each of the diagnostic tests 1/2/3/4 starting at $395 and going all the way to $1995. The technician kept insisting that we select the package number 2 for $995. I said I just wanted a new Breaker installed and he refused. It was $995 or nothing and it would likely cost more once he would analyze exactly what the issue was. I asked him to leave as I did not like the business practice he was laying on me. He said it was my choice and asked not to take it “Personal” I told him to leave my property. . I feel ripped off and paid $249 for the emergency call. I want a refund as I am not satisfied. I called another electrician and they were there and fixed my problem for less money then I paid to have them come out for the emergency call.
Terrible business practice and after requesting a call from the service manager nothing has happened.
PLEASE REFUND MY $249 or I will Post this review to Yelp.

We had a car charger installed. Miguel Barragan, our technician, did a stellar job. He took the time to ensure he installed the correct components in a way that looked nice and made sure that conduits were tucked neatly away. He cleaned our walls and floors and even put our shoes back in a shoe rack after he had moved it. The charger works perfectly and the installation was finished right on time and is beautiful.
We also payed more than 60% over the estimate because of Pacific Coast Electric's failure to prepare for the job. I gave them the model number of the charger, but mistakenly said it was hardwired instead of a plug-in unit. They said they'd only finish the job if I paid for installation of an outlet plus an extra $400 because they didn't bring the correct outlet for the charger model number I gave them. Then, they found that they brought the wrong circuit breaker. I had to pay another $400 for their mistake or they wouldn't finish the job. So an installation that was already too expensive at $1,800 ended up costing me $2,800.
I can easily recommend Miguel for any job and recommend that everyone steer clear of this company.

The technician, Richard Castaneda, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and installed a new programmable thermostat for electric floorboard heaters. He did a terrific job, including cleaning up after the project. I would recommend Richard and Pacific Electricians for all electrical work.
I called after hours and had Daric come out and help get power back to my ac unit. Very professional and nice guy. While I was in a panic in 100° weather, he just kept saying that he got it and he's going to fix it for me. Sure enough, everything was fixed and I was able to relax in my cool house again! Totally recommend their services and especially Daric for any electrical help!

I phoned Pacific Coast on a Sunday and had no problem getting someone to come out. I was extremely pleased with Ray he was very polite and knowledgeable.
We had several problems in our home but Ray was able to help us with all of them. He didn’t mind explaining things to my husband and I. He was very professional and made sure we were pleased with all of his work. He also made sure he cleaned up after. I was very impressed.
After the holidays, We are planning on calling for a new AC system. I will definitely ask for Ray. I have shared our experience with family and friends.
Great on so many fronts... Professional, courteous and customer-centric service from a reputable company. They were prompt, clean and skilled to install my Tesla charger. Breaker installation, conduit and charger set up. It needed a few visits to get done, but each time they communicated timing and respected the quoted window for showing up. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!! I tried to be extra patient with this company given the tough times we are all dealing with, but 1.5 months, 4 different technician visits and 1000$ later, our AC unit in the attic is still leaking water. Initial contact was made on August 17th. As of October 4th no fix yet. We had to go through 2 heat waves without an AC.
Background:
We had our handyman inspect this initially and he said the coil + the drip plate needed to be replaced. We contacted Pacific Coast Electric, Heating and Air to get the job done. The technician who came for the inspection completely ignored our handyman's report and diagnosed that the problem had to do with the drain lines that were leaking and also not being connected properly. Following this fix (cost us 800$) we observed that the water now started completely draining into our backyard through the secondary drain line and we also reported that we heard water dripping through the wall all night.
Another technician came to inspect this problem and reversed the drain lines. He also observed a potential problem with a leaky air duct not being sealed correctly and letting cold air escape into the attic. He suspected this was the reason for the water dripping through the wall. We paid another 350$ to get this issue fixed.
Two days later we observed water leaking through our living room ceiling all the way down from our attic (2 floors down!!). We had to contact them several times over the weekend to take a look and treat this as an emergency. After another inspection by yet another technician the problem was diagnosed as the AC coil needing replacement. (initially already reported by our handyman!)
Current:
We finally got an appointment with them a few weeks later for coil replacement and they call us on the day of the appointment to tell us they don't have the parts and need another 3 to 6 weeks!
This has by far been the worst company in terms of communication and service. I have finally decided to give up on this company and to contact someone else to get this issue resolved. I recommend saving your money and engaging with a different company for your heating and cooling needs!
The team that installed our air conditioner's electric panel was great from start of providing us estimates, to the finished product. They made sure to lay protective wrap to keep our floor clean and cleaned up before they left. Lastly, they clearly communicated the steps they were performing and labelled the electric panel switches for us.

I had some issues with my furnace. I called Pacific Coast Electric Heating & Air and the office staff were very kind and scheduled an appointment for me on the same day. The technician who came out to my home, very polite, and knowledgeable of what the issue was. Fixed the problem with my furnace and everything is working just fine. Price was reasonable. There is a saying “You get what you pay for”. I am glad I found this company. Thank you PCEHeating&Air for your service.
Levi came out to my home on time and is extremely helpful and respectful to the home. He spend time explaining what he is doing and what need to be done. After I explain and show him the lighting fixtures that needs repair he went about getting them fixed one by one in the safest manner, and help install new lighting fixtures as well. Highly recommend if you need someone to help with the field of electricians, you need to look no further than this company.

We are converting our gas range to electric. The wiring was already present, but it was old and it needed a receptacle installed. I wanted a licensed electrician to do the work to ensure the old wiring was up to code and the work was done safe. For $90 Pacific did a responsible job of checking out the wiring and ensuring it wasn't going to burn down the house. But they wanted $1,200 to install a receptacle and a junction box under the floor, or $1,600 to replace the wiring to the panel.
I figured thanks, I'll get a handyman to do that job for $200. From the driveway, dude offered to get the job done for $1,000. In a moment of weakness I caved to the convenience. Though it turns out it wasn't $1,000 minus the service fee but $1,100 minus the service fee. $1,000 more than I'd already paid.
The job was done quick. The guy tested the circuit. And now I get to go buy a stove. The work was done professionally, on time, and at an obscene markup. I'd feel good about the professionalism but wasting so much money makes me feel dirty. Sometimes you get taken advantage of, but if that is a step to getting your family a kitchen that doesn't set then on fire, so it goes.

The technician that came out to our house (Regie) to update our outlets was knowledgeable and professional. I had some difficulty in scheduling the service with this company though. After they sent me an estimate, I signed the contract and scheduled the date. They never got back to me about what time they were coming and didn't confirm with me the day before. I emailed the technician that gave me the estimate but he didn't respond. I called the company on the day they were supposed to arrive (per the signed contract) and they didn't even have me on the schedule. They eventually were able to have Regie come out that day, but it was frustrating that I had to email, text, and then call to get an answer as to what time someone was coming, if at all.
We lost our electricity on half of the house. I called and they sent out Anthony on a Saturday evening. He worked in the dark and found the problem; the main panel had burned. He did a temporary fix (since my 89 year old mother lives there and wanted her to be comfortable) until he could return to replace what needed to be done. He and John came and did the work. They were knowledgeable, attentive to detail and extremely professional. Dave took care of all the details to submit a claim to our homeowner's insurance. We could not have been happier. This is an A1 organization! You can put your confidence in them. I highly recommend!

We experienced a power loss last week in half our home and called three electricians and the soonest we could get an appointment was several days out. We ended up finding this company on google and we were able to get an appointment the same day. Our tech Eric found a massive hazard in our panel and set an appointment for the following morning for a new electrical panel.
The install took two days (we were out of power for only 6 hours the day of install), the second day they put rods in the ground to ground our home and labeled our panel.

I contacted Pacific Coast to see if I could install air conditioning. They were able to schedule an appointment later that same day, which is awesome. They send a photo and bio of the technician coming to your home so you know who to expect. Adonis was very helpful in explaining my options and what advantages certain setups have over others. He was very patient and answered all my questions and concerns. Great guy! There was an issue with the electrical panel and he called an electrician to come take a look. Ezekiel was able to meet us right away and help us find a solution, which he did. Again, Ezekiel was very thorough in explaining our options and was patient with my questions. Overall this was a great experience. I HIGHLY recommended Pacific Coast to anyone who needs electric or hvac service.

My family had a very difficult experience with Pacific Coast Electric, Heating & Air. We had smoke in our house soon after our daughter was born. A technician came out on a Sunday to inspect, but it was not clear whether he found the root issue. Anyhow, it ended up feeling like they were trying to suggest upgrades to the extent that the root issue of the smoke didn't seemed to get addressed until mid week after we asked many times whether root issues was being addressed.
Anyhow, we had to leave the house with a 3 week old, and it was not pleasant. I understand the money is in the upgrades, but it would have been nice if they would have found and solved the root issue before doing all the upgrades. This way we wouldn't have had to move out with 3 young kids right after our newborn was born.
I spoke with the CEO, and he was more understanding, which I appreciated, so the 2 star review instead of 1 star review, but it was an absolutely miserable experience for my family and also my landlord.
My grandma had found that the surrounding area of her outlet was black and she called Pacific coast electricians to come out. They were very knowledgeable and kind with explaining what had happened in her panel and gave her three pricing options, all of which were very reasonable. Earl was very patient with my grandma and she's very happy with the work he did and the price she paid.

And thank God I called Pacific Coast when I did because all those problems are behind me. They sent Richard the same day that I called and he fixed everything in a timely manner. Pacific Coast Electric Heating and Air did a great job. I had loss to half of my home and turns out I had a failure in my panel. Richard figured it out and had a new panel installed immediately. I wish these guys did plumbing. I've never had tradesmen come to my house and treat me with this level of respect and professionalism. We had some wiring smoldering under our sink at 3am. We woke up to the fire alarm going off and smoke coming out of the outlet under the sink. We found them on google and when we called just after 3am they answered on the first ring and sent out a guy named Nelson who arrived in 30 min. Seriously 30 min at 3am. He had a uniform on, put on shoe protectors before he came into the house and started looking into what was causing the burning wires. He was very calm and made us feel safe and he worked to figure out what was causing the problem. The problem was some old wiring in the wall shorting out and the fix was relatively inexpensive. What we liked the most is that he didn't try to take advantage of the situation and tell us we needed thousands of $'s of new stuff or an entire home rewire. Nelson fixed the wiring that day and then he did a full home inspection the next day and gave us a ton of info on our home system like how long he thought our panel would last and if we needed to look at replacing any of the other wiring in the house. He also let us know about all the services they offer and things they could do like install USB outlets and run high speed internet wiring all through the house. It was nice to get this info but not feel like we were being pressured into buying anything or being taken advantage of with some kind of fear based sales tactics. We actually had him come back to put in a dimmer light in our dining room and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking not to get ripped off and we will be using them from now on for all our electrical and air needs. I needed an HVAC inspection and tune up.
I was looking for service on a Commercial Office Condominium. On the recorded message it says, When we come to your home or office.
However, when the technician arrived, he was surprised it was a commercial building. He said they do not service commercial buidings.
Then, there's a fee for dispatch, $249.00 to the company, and I was told a fee direct to the operator (he said that dispatch cannot take this payment). I was leery, but I paid it. It is definitely more than I recall him saying on the phone...I'm waiting to receive the invoice and break down.

This company is a rip off. Scheduling is the only thing genuine. They schedule fast and efficient. For cleaning the condenser and for topping up the refrigient they charged me $1350, which is a scam
These guys are so uncoordinated. One guy came and gave us an estimate and the technician who came didn’t know that he had to order specific parts so we had to reschedule. When he came to fix the ducts he didn’t check that the heating and furnace works or maybe he checked b it after he left now the furnace doesn’t work. A second estimator came and claimed that the wires were mixed up. Obviously he didn’t know what he was talking about as the furnace had been working fine since 2010. Then he said the circuit board had to be replaced. So now I have the original fix which was for $650 and another $1000 circuit board repair. I feel the technicians are very amateur and don’t know what they are doing.
Pacific Coast Electricians installed some recessed lights and replaced an older household electrical sub-panel with a new panel with up-to-date breakers. The work was done carefully and efficiently. Each of the electricians who worked on the project was very professional. Each person was not only a competent electrician but also courteous and considerate; Richard, Rogelio, Erik, Jorge, Mike, Miguel and Regggie. They cleaned up every bit of dust and debris from the work. The company works with Hector Flores of DCS drywall services to replace the drywall around the new sub-panel. He did an exceptionally good job of repairing the drywall. I would hire this company again and I would recommend them to any of my friends. And the City inspector passed the job with no issues.
Tripped a circuit breaker and couldn't flip it back. Called the Pacific Coast Electricians and they were able to send someone out within 2 days. Andrew was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous, and was able to fix the issue during the appointment. He also performed a full diagnostic and recommended ways to avoid future issues. Will definitely call them for all additional electrical works!

I've had a great experience with them over the last 7 weeks. The breaker box at my salon blew up and they were able to come in a timely manner to check it out. Over the last week they have made sure that everything is up to par. Juan Conchas was awesome. He made sure to go over everything with me so I would understand what was going on. I highly recommend this company for all your electrical needs.

Great job! Fast and efficient. Eric Nordhoff was the technician and ran down a problem we had with some serialized outlets. Thank God it wasn't a bigger issue, but all in all, I had the best experience. Eric is knowledgeable and just plain good at his job. I highly recommend him.
Scheduled an appointment to have our HVAC evaluated and serviced if needed. Had a detailed call in which we discussed what would be done, that there was no charge to come out and evaluate whether work was required, and that if work was required (after the tech looked over the system) they would write up a proposal. The call was recorded. Noah came out, was rude with a horrible attitude, demanded a payment for the service call despite his manager telling me there would be no charge, flat out wouldn't do anything, and basically left. My tenants sat there listening and couldn't believe what they were hearing especially after he played the recorded call I had with his manager. Would I use them again? No way in hell.
Called on a Saturday early evening. Nasser came within a hour. He is very professional and good at explaining what needed to be done. I was impressed with his knowledge and customer service skills. He is a great resource and technician. Very pleased also with Heather who took my call. She was professional and kept me up to date on arrival time. Good work! Much appreciated!

We needed some major residential electrical rewiring done, and Justin and Steven from PCE have done an outstanding job. They are knowledgeable, professional and respectful. They did a great job of briefing us each morning with the plan for the day, and each evening with an update on their progress.
It was a challenge with our old house’s wiring, but they did a beautiful and tidy job, and kept their cool and professionalism throughout the challenges.
PCE provided a project manager, Susanna, as our point of contact throughout the project. We are happy that we chose PCE for this major project.

The UV light in my furnace doesn't work after their installation. They sent someone to inspect it and they said that they will call me to schedule a replacement. NEVER HAPPENED.
I called them back three days later and the lady who answered the phone said she needs to look things up and she'll give me a call back. NEVER HAPPENDED.
I called again two days later and they finally scheduled a technician visiting, which also DIDN'T HAPPEN.
I called three times the day I should've gotten a visit and no one knows what was happening. Everyone that answered the phone said I'll have to contact my manager and give you a call back. Guess what, these call backs NEVER HAPPEN!
I've double checked with them on my phone number, which is correct.
It is sarcastically funny that they work so diligently when they are installing the systems and giving out suggestions to update your home, or, when they are trying to get you pay them. But when it comes to post-sale service, it seems that their passion of work just disappeared.
Wow! All I can say is the service at Pacific Coast Electricians is stellar.
Our power went out a couple of times during the storm this week and when it was restored, only half the house actually had power. I called PG&E, but there were no outages reported in our area. So I called Pacific Coast Electricians at 7:30 the next morning and Anthony Alvarez was on my doorstep before 10AM. He determined that the problem was actually with PG&E and he called them to request the repair. When the man from PG&E arrived, he met with him. In the meantime, he found that our old electrical panel needed to be replaced. (It was 30 years old, had insulation material leaking and had been overheating.) We agreed to the project and the wheels were set in motion. PCE pulled the permit from the city, dealt with PG&E and was ready to go the next morning.
Rogelio, Ryan and Guillermo worked at our house for 2 days. They were all extremely pleasant and professional and just really good-natured. They appear to really love what they do and they are very good at it. Rogelio even dropped what he was going to help me carry some recycling to the car when he saw I was struggling to carry it all. How nice is that?
I believe the company to have a high level of integrity--I never felt as if I were being up-sold or pressured to have unnecessary work done. The quality of work is excellent and the level of customer service is unparalleled. I liked them so much, they will be my go-to electricians from now on. I actually have other electrical work that needs to be done at the house, and I will have them back as soon as I can get it scheduled. I'm very grateful to have found them and I recommend them in the highest possible terms.

One of the legs at my main breaker was out. Pacific Coast Electrician looked at the box, did thirty seconds of detective work and told me the entire box would have to be replaces for $8k. The next electrician tested more carefully, discovered the screws had backed out, tightened them and fixed the problem for the cost of his visit. The Pacific Coast Electricians must get comped part of the work they quote; he was eager to make me sign a confusing contract when I had only asked for a quote, then wanted to fiddle with my subpanel for some reason before he left. I wouldn't trust these guys. I paid $98 for this visit.

This is the second time Richard visited my home. The first time was a year ago. Both visits have been for unrelated reasons. The reason I called Pacific Electric again is because of their customer service. Both times I have had Richard. He explains in clear terms the steps he takeS to fix the issues in my house. I feel I always learned something new. I wish Pacific Electric was not as pricey.
Richard Castanedo from Pacific Coast Electric came by our home to check on some GFCI outlets and he was able to fix it no time. I really appreciated the professionalism him and his company showed throughout this entire process. I highly recommend this company for all your electrical needs if you want to work with a no hassle company.
Paul and Juan came out to install a 220V outlet for us. They are very professional and transparent, explained every step along the way. The job itself is also professionally done, everything was well cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommended!
They gave me 3 options for an electrical fix at my Father's house. They assured me the most affordable option would fix the problem. The other 2 options were upgrades, but not essential. Since my elderly Father is on a fixed income we went with the most affordable option. After doing the work they tried to get my elderly father to agree to pay 6k more for more work. I repeatedly told them he was not interested. They kept call my elderly Father trying to get hime to agree to more work and more money. Very unethical.

I worked for this company and it ended up being the worst! One day I get a call from the state and they're wondering why I haven't paid child support for a few months. I sent them my check stubs to show them they made a mistake, only to find out that pacific wasn't sending my money to the state. They have an accountant by the name of katt who claimed she was too busy to do her job. Once I had to get the owners involved I was dismissed and told I wasn't a good fit....even though I was fresh off winning an award. They may or may not know it but several employees are getting ready to sue for commissions not paid. Back in the past they had a guy burning electrical panels just to make a sale. Stay away from this company!
They are very professional. These guys will not try to take advantage of their customers when PG&E customers suffered cyber attacks and have to reinstall new meters to bypass it, they informed me to check with PG&E first before inquiring their emergency service home visit to fix 11/2/2021 power outage in San Jose.

We had a great experience with Pacific Coast Electricians. Richard took his time to educate us on what needed to be done to fix the problem. He was very polite answered all my questions and got the job done.
We had to restore power to half of our house so we called Pacific Coast Electricians and they were able to schedule somebody to come the next day so we had agreed to the visit fee so that we could immediately get someone in to fix the problem. When the person showed up the following day they seemed more interested in quoting us for work than actually explaining what was going on with our house and if there was a danger. The person that came gave us 2 options: the first option involved opening up many parts of our dry wall and would cost starting at $9K and the second option was a temporary fix that would start at $2k. On top of that, he explained that they would not be doing any work that day (part of the reason I don't call this person an electrician. He seemed more like a sales person) to help restore our power. We ultimately decided to give up the $89 visit fee and called Adary Electric who was able to visit immediately and was able diagnose the issues, explain what was happening and fix the issues for ~$250 for 2 hours of work. I would not recommend Pacific Coast Electricians as it seemed like there was something possibly wrong with their process or they could be dishonest.
Pacific Coast always help you solve the problem! They are professional with smile. The technician arrive on time and fix the issue quickly. And most important is that the price always cheaper than others. You won't disappoint it if you try them.
Juan Conchas was the project lead for replacing the electrical panel, running dedicated circuits, labeling the electrical panel and installing smoke detectors. Juan represented Pacific Coast Electric and Heating with professionalism and respect. Juan made sure I understood the work to be performed and made sure, actually encouraged I asked questions or bring up any concerns I might have. I feel confident the finished work is completed to spec and don’t expect any issues as I experienced previously with the old panel. I would highly recommend Pacific Coast Eke trick to all my friends and especially Juan Conchas.

I never write reviews, even bad ones, but I want to give a warning to anyone who has done business with this company before and anyone who is considering it:
I called Pacific Coast Electricians in San Jose to discuss the problem with my dimming lights whenever a big appliance is turned on. We agreed on a price and I Signed up. The next day when the electricians failed to show up after waiting 3 1/2 hours, calling numerous times (which I had to do, they didn’t even bother to get ahold of me) I decided to cancel my contract -well before the 3 day limit according to their contract and federal law-. For most companies this wouldn’t be an issue, but they are now withholding my down payment claiming they had already spent $743 of my money on a permit and they cant get the money back, plus they’re charging me a “$350 diagnostic fee”.
Well, I called the San Jose Permit office and was told that:
1. They didn’t cancel the permit.
2. I am able to get a refund but the company has to cancel since they applied in their name
3. The fee was $199 NOT $743
Even with all the evidence of scamming they are still trying to fight me. Now they’re claiming the extra $543 is because of the 4 hours of work put into the permit (because they certainly didn’t put any work into my home), but that is not what she said before, and I’ve seen the permit- it would not take 4 hours to apply.
I’m not a fighter, and I think they knew that, but this isn’t right so I’m fighting now. It is unacceptable to take advantage of customers especially hard working ones who trusted your company. I hope anyone who has worked with this company before looks up any permit information and ask for all receipts to make sure they weren’t scammed as well.

This visit was for completion of the A/C unit body of work. An outside service outlet was installed to meet the building code requirement of a GFCI outlet within 25 feet of the outdoor condenser.. That had been left off of the work plan for the project, causing the building inspection to fail. The work should now pass inspection. All work was performed in a very professional manner.

I had to use this company twice in the last year on my new home and it’s faulty wiring ( don’t buy Meritage Homes) anyway I had the pleasure of working with Raymond Porras . He was able to easily fix and diagnosis the problem when doing his diagnostic . Raymond explained everything to me and even a call to my father to explain things so we can better understand why this keeps happening and helped us to know what we can do in the future to fix this . Raymond was utmost professional and very knowledgeable about electrical systems . I would easily recommend him or this company they are 5 stars ! These guys deserve a raise they know what good customer service is .
I had a couple outlets in my home not working so I made a late during the week phone call to see if someone could come out , and to my surprise they sent someone over quick I met Ray & he was able to fix everything & get my home back up and running . He was very professional from the initial greeting to his wide knowledge of explaining to me what was happening I really appreciated how informed ray kept me during the process down to the sleepers they wear for the home . They definitely have a customer for life .
Called this company because our ac unit stopped working last night, we previously today had an hvac company out to troubelshoot the failure. After 4 hours wasted with the precious company we brought out this company.
Eric nordhoff did a troubleshoot on the system that determined our ac unit is tripping the breaker which the other company didnt even catch.
The emergency fee on the weekend seemed like a lot but now I see it is justified. We will have Pacific coast install our new AC unif and maintain our electrical from here on out. Highly reccomend the supervisor Eric for any of your future electrical and heating needa

Levi was very professional and treated myself and my mom with respect. I was doing all the scheduling and interactions with the contractor, but when it came to doing the actual work, I felt very comfortable having them work directly with my elderly mother.
Pacific Coast responded immediately to an emergency loss of power in our home that had not been inspected for decades. Thereafter, a team led by Joel Baltazar carried out a necessary full rewiring of the house that resulted in both safety and improved convenience. Over the course of this project, we came to recognize and respect the skills of the team, as they planned and implemented solutions up to code, and aesthetically and operationally suitable for our home. Joel successfully navigated a challenging inspection process, thank heavens! The whole team was personable. Our dog misses them!
The technicians that have come to the house have been kind and professional, but the whole company is unorganized. Our paperwork has been lost, they've sent out the wrong technicians, or promised technicians that didn't arrive, technicians have come without the parts they need, they've sent technicians without appointments, the office can't answer questions, or doesn't answer the phone, or drops calls when they do. It's been exhausting to work with them!

This company was dba Mike Counsil when my sub panel began to fail summer 2016. Very scary and dangerous situation when the master electrician David arrived to my home that day. My panel was actively arcing!!! It sat in my son's room and I'd hate to think what could have happened. I qualified for Ygrene program and did a complete overhaul of my electrical system from a new sub panel to additional circuits, new lighting fixtures and updated outlets and light switches throughout my home. The work was done over a week's time. The effort to keep my home dust free and clean went above and beyond my expectations. One of the techs even took time to arrange my son's toys as I had dumped everything on the bed to make it easier for them. At one point during the week I had to come home during lunch and saw the set up. When I returned later from work I was dreading how things looked but honestly could not believe how things were cleared and made liveable in the middle of the job. Our Yorkie was even part of their crew for the week. The professionalism and attention to detail for the new lighting was superb. I am still enjoying the work that was done. I can set the mood in various rooms and also the peace of mind that a potentially tragic situation was prevented on the same day along with lifetime guarantee that stays with the property goes well beyond a 5 star rating. I really appreciate everyone for the work you all did for me and my family.

The most incompetent small business I have every worked with. They waited 9 months to invoice me, they first attempted shake me down via a text message from an unknown number insisting I owed them $89 but he could not describe the service. Finally they sent me an invoice in the mail. I research it and then recalled the service call. I paid them, they then sent the invoice to collections. I have a copy of the cancelled check and they will not give me an email address to send it over.

Pacific Coast Electric responded promptly to my request for electric service at my home. Service Tech Ezekiel did excellent and efficient work, was very courteous and professional. I would definitely contact Pacific Coast Electric in the future for any electric service needs.

We called them to repair our whole house air conditioner. We were given an estimate of more than $3,000 to replace the control board and condenser fan, with $2,000 of this for the control board. We were shocked at the price and got a second quote. The other company diagnosed the problem and told us that the parts are covered by warranty, i.e. no charge for the parts. Needless to say, we decided not to use Pacific Coast Electric Heating & Air.

This started with my initial contacts with Sabrina and Sara in the office with scheduling, my initial visit with Jonathan about the work requested ( replacing smoke detectors and install motion sensor light at main entrance) who detailed the work and costs to my visit today with J.C. who installed the light and truly went the extra mile ( several times) along with Tevin to obtain the correct type of smoke alarm ( with a hush feature) and to Sara for her assistance in rescheduling an appointment with JC ( my request) in a timely manner. Tevin also called me again for some clarification. This is my first time using Pacific Coast Electricians and will definitely call them for any future electrical needs. Of equal importance is that they are reasonably and fairly priced- truly a class act with individuals in every department who truly committed to the meeting the needs of the customer.

Eric Nordhoff was very knowledgeable, friendly and did prompt work on my electrical outlets problem. I had a short circuit in the kitchen and he fixed it efficiently. He also explained transparently the work that needs to be done and the cost.
Eric and Raymond did great work and were both courteous and efficient in the process. They fixed the original issue we had and then advised us on another electrical matter, all without extra charges. We highly recommend their service.

Had a power outage in 2 rooms, called Pacific Coast for them to investigate and fix the problem. Received a quote for Circuit restoration & estimate is to restore power to the bedrooms by replacing all crimp connections $1,700+. Hired another electrician and they fixed the problem in 1 hour and for less than $200. They made recommendations to avoid this in the future.

Someone actually answered the phone on a Sunday and followed through with sending out their technician, Eric, who was prompt and helpful with our lighting and electrical issues. Levi Mentz had been amazing to work with! Knowlegeable, professional and I do business with Pacific Coast because of my confidence in him!! Great conscientious employee who comes across as genuine and with a ton of integrity!!!
They are a rip off. For a part that cost $200, they quoted $600 and an additional $600 for the labor. Since the part was covered under warranty, i only had to pay the labor and that too just $60. On top of this, they recommended changing few extra things and gave an alternative which in their opinion is the best which is to replace the entire A/C unit for close to $10K. Well i got that fixed for $60. Very poor work ethics.

Zeke was very helpful and prompt. The work was done quickly despite running into some unexpected issues. This was the first company that responded and scheduled something much earlier than expected. All of the other electrical companies are slow to respond for smaller projects.

Horrible electrician company. I work in the construction feild and these guys made everything worst. Instead of troubleshooting they just replaced without verifying any issue. I'm receiving a high low voltage to the frame and skin on my mobile home and so are my neighbors management has been very negligent on replacing pedestals without permits and when I would require to see a license electricians card He called Pacific coast that was a badd idea The text are young and don't have field experience they always have to refer To NEC code book. They don't know ohm's law or how to apply it. They grounded a jumper ground wire from my pedestal Box to my waterline and bonded my gas line I am now reading 15 amps on my gas line and waterline these guys are a joke if you wanna get ripped off this is Who you call. Mobile homes require a different grounding system and because they are only residential and commercial electricians they did not know how to properly ground my system. I called a real electrician by the name of mainstream electric and these guys were able to pinpoint my issue right away. I had to pay $200 out of pocket to verify that there was a grounding issue and sure enough there was a grounding fault. I plan to take this to civil court and you know that I'm gonna bring up their name.
Working at Home Depot pro desk, I've gotten to know many of the workers that come in. They are all very polite and well-mannered. The one that stands out to us is Josiah. He is very friendly and always comes in with a smile. So happy to help out our friendly customers like Josiah.

Angel Perez was able to quickly diagnose the mislabeled breaker box. In addition, he provided valuable information for me to install new lighting in my garage.
The work performed was as requested, although there is a little extra cleanup required on my part. My only concern is that if I am paying full price for an electrician’s expertise, then my expectation is that I get an highly experienced electrician. I will try another service next time.

Can't say enough about this company and their employees . Form the real person (instead of some phone tree) to the technician who came to the house ...they were stellar. We need AC Repair and I couldn't be happier . They are my home service company for life.

We had been having trouble with our 28 year old furnace...tried getting a response from local firms...ended up getting a hold of Pacific Coast...Nasser Pineda came out, we discussed the possibilities...we decided to replace, he had a crew out the next day...Joseph Furtado was the lead man...all done by 3pm...great to see there is an least one contractor who can show up...
This company was trying to charge us $220.00 for 3 furnace filters that I could buy online for 6 for $50.00. Be warned.
Raymond responded to my house on Thanksgiving morning and saved they day. Raymond’s boss drove by with a part while he was on the way to his thanksgiving dinner. Both guys went above and beyond and saved my thanksgiving dinner at my house.
