Our household woke up to a power surge at 3 am during a cold spell. The surge burned out nearly every light bulb in the house as well as two appliances.

I called JJ electric at 7 am, and Jay arrived at 8 am. He restored power to the house, used diagnostic tools, and explained the electricity status of both the townhome and the complex it is in. We have original wiring from the 1960s, and it isn't exactly stable. One household member relies on 24/7 oxygen, so having power issues is more threatening to us than most households. Jay was attentive to the oxygen issue and Covid precautions were taken.

Jay advised us on ideal appliance location, so as not to overload the circuits. He installed another breaker on the indoor fuse panel, and now our power is more stable. He was also able to repair an outlet that had been broken for over 10 years, a service that was not part of our original call.

All the services were performed very quickly, on an emergency basis, and now our electricity is more stable than it has ever been, which reduces our fire risk. The cost for all of this was more than reasonable. We are very happy with JJ Electric; our service call could not have gone better.

Good contractors are hard to find, but Benjamin was great! He was responsive, on time, and very thorough. We recently worked with Bao yet again on our recessed lighting and media room project in our house. As always, Bao did all the work with great precision and thought. He is extremely honest and friendly and always willing to work with you on different options. He studied the layouts and proposed a couple options for each of the room layouts. Bao always creatively thinks about the best solutions and tries to make the least holes possible for the recess lighting. He also helped us hook up our projector and speakers and got our media room ready. We always appreciate working with Bao and are often ready to wait based on his availability. We would highly recommend working with him and his team.

Hired company to install a controller for existing LED Tape. Technician did not realize that LED Tape already had electric connected to it (though I repeated it at least four times) and installed additional DC voltage going into the RGB, likely shorting the LED tapes altogether. Main Stream was not able to finish job just stating tape probably is faulty. Very nice and courteous guys, but just didn't know enough about installing controllers for LED Tapes.
