First of all, Willow Glen Electric came highly recommended. We used Willow Glen Electric to install the new SPAN panel and bypass a potential 12-18 month wait time and an additional $20,000-$30,000 underground fed 200 amp MPU, since our 100/125 amp Main Panel was overloaded. They went above and beyond in explaining everything the SPAN panel could do and even going so far as to talk with Sunrun Operations Managers to assure them that we could then actually add batteries to our house with the SPAN panel! This saved us so much time and money by going this route.
They also installed the new SPAN Drive fast EV charger. And found out I was one of the first ones, ever, to get this new beauty.
Very professional company and crew here. I had a complicated project and they were able to figure it out and get it done; with courteous service and a great attitude the whole way.
I also now highly recommend Willow Glen Electric. This coming from a homeowner and someone in the solar industry, where we do A LOT of electrical work in our field.

I was very impressed with the two professional electricians who worked in my home today!!! They were punctual and courteous. They set up and started work in an organized manner. When the job was completed, they cleaned the area and carefully carried their equipment to the truck. None of my furnishings were disturbed.

The Willow Glen Electric team did a great job upgrading my electrical panel to the house and adding a Tesla car charger to the garage wall. They have a very good scheduling and dispatch process that includes text messages about the arrival of technicians, city inspectors, and stucco repair team. Very pleased with the work that they performed and would recommend them. They are on the high side (price) compared to others but the efficient completion and expert service team balanced it out.

I reached out to Willow Glen Electric with a 20-year long list of I should get an electrician for that. They dealt with me with patience, clarified where necessary, and delivered exemplary. I found Willow Glen team to be very professional from the start of asking for a quote all the way to finishing the job with an electrical inspection certification from SJ city.
It was an excellent experience and I highly recommend Willow Glen electric for car charger installation job.
What impressed me most was the responsiveness and owning of the responsibility till completion of a job, that the Willow Glen electric folks demonstrated esp. when the first inspection didn't go thru - due to city changing the guidelines of 2 power ground requirement. They took care of the extra ground install and also scheduled a follow-up inspection with city.

I contacted WGE about replacing a Tesla wall connector with a model with a J1772 plug. The company handled providing the ChargePoint charger at a reasonable cost, so I didn’t have to wait for them to be in stock. They handled removal of the old connector, upgraded the original wiring used, and handled scheduling the require inspection by the city. All I had to do was make sure to be home on the right days. They could not have made it any easier. Everyone involved was very professional, and clearly communicated any information that needed me to provide to them. Highly recommended.
I reached out to WillowGlen for EV Charger installation for my home and they were helpful and responsive. They quickly gave me a quote and I compared to other providers and found out that WillowGlen can get it done and rates were reasonable. The electrician came to my home, did the work in few hours and they did not take shortcuts rather it was professional. They coordinated and scheduled the inspection from the city and after 20 days or so, the inspection happened and it was approved by the city. Willow Glen Electric provided me excellent service! Bryan & Scott were thorough and did a wonderful job with my fan installation. I plan to use this company in the future for all my home electrical needs.
The works done were good. The followed up inspection was also very professional. The business would have earned a 5 star rating from me, however, one of the installers attitudes did not impressed me and therefore the rating dropped to 3-star instead.
Two installers came to perform the installation. One of them insisted on a particular location that might be more convenient for the installation but not to our preferred spot. Once he was told that was where I wanted, he said that they might have to charge for the extra length despite our contact did specified the approximate location and distance and the location that I wanted was way within the contract distance. The other installer came to the rescue and said it would be ok. Then the exact same happened again with the location of the the load shedding device. In both cases, the other installer saved the day, otherwise I would send them packing. The other installer had much better attitudes compared with the ‘bad’ but was within the expected norm of home service.
We found Willow Glen through the Qmerit service when we needed to install a charger for our Rivian. Our panel didn't have much room, but Willow Glen were able to move things around to fit the charger connection in and install the energy management system needed to ensure we didn't overload. THe work was very high quality, performed by a friendly and efficient team that really knew their stuff. The inspection process at the end was also a breeze, with a WIllow Glen employee coming on site to walk the inspector through the work by Facetime. Couldn't be happier.

Willow Glen Electric installed a Tesla charger and a load shedding device that enabled me to add the charger even though my electric service is only 100A. They were very knowledgeable: they recommended the load shedding device for my situation. They were always on time, and did a great job. They came to my home for the city inspection, which we passed. They were expensive, but I feel it was worth it.
Professional to deal with. Responded promptly, and completed a detailed estimate via photos and detailed discussions via email (easy and time saving). Great email communications regarding steps, expectations, and permit process. Crew was professional and prompt. Job was 200A upgrade with customer provided panel and breakers. Performed minor siding repair as needed, above expectations. Crew worked late and dealt with unexpected / unfamiliar Leviton equipment patiently. Would use for many future projects.
Absolute bang up job. I'm a disabled combat veteran and I don't have a lot of cash on hand. the first company I called said they could so the job for 1300 bucks. I called Willow Glen Electric and they quoted me at 700.
The tech’s Ray and Zack (or Zach not sure on the spelling) were promote, respectful and did the job perfectly as instructed. There's nothing to complain about here as they were courteous professionals that explained every snag they hit and even cleaned up well after they were done.

With my Tesla model 3 arriving and my landlord agreeing to the installation of the charger and an automatic load balance, Willow Glen Electric was easy to use and fast. The best part was the team of installers. Very knowledgeable, fast, and courteous. One note, if you are splitting some of the cost with a landlord that could get a bit tricky with the front office, but in my unique situation it all ended up working out. Very happy with the installation job and the help with the inspections by the city afterward.

There were some communication and scheduling issues, specifically regarding the city permit inspections. Scott arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He was personable and professional, and set about to diagnose the concerning grounding problems we've had with our detached garage. One grounding rod and two wiring fixes later, the problem was completely solved. He also installed a dimmer switch in our bathroom. The whole experience was very positive and I would definitely use Willow Glen Electric again.

I was referred to Willow Glen Electric for their service. The recommendation proved to be great. They showed up on time, completed the work efficiently and took care to clean up. They also took the time to answer my questions and to provide guidance for future work per my request. I was initially put off by the mandatory two hour requirement but I got full value of their services for those two hours so it worked out. Used Willow Glen to install my EV charger. The Virtual walk-through is comprehensive and a time-saver. My project manager and scheduling manager are great to work with, and the installer is professional. I initially had a defective charger hardware (no fault of Willow Glen) and they came back in the next day and replaced it with a new one.
Not the lowest price, but you get the best customer service for it.
I had Willow Glen Electric install a car charger for me. They have a very easy process: I sent some photos of my panels and where I wanted the charger to go, they sent an estimate, and they came by a few days later to do the install. They worked with the city to organize the building permit and managed the appointment for the final inspection. Everything went smoothly and I'm very pleased with the result.

I had a sixty amp circuit run in conduit from my panel to an EV charger along with the needed breaker.
Willow Glen Electric made the whole job easy. Everyone was very responsive. Emails were responded to in a very short time. No question was too simple for the team to answer.
The estimating process was streamlined due to the pandemic. Fill out a form describing your need and take a series of pictures. Discuss how the job will be done by email. The actual estimate was in my hands within a day via email.
E-commerce allowed initial payment and online document signing for estimate acceptance.
On the day of the job emails kept everyone updated on when the two electricians would arrive. Last minute tweaking of the design was done on the spot by the electrician - no problem.
The job was clean, done properly and done quickly.
Inspection with the city was a few weeks later. Again, emails and texts kept everyone up to date. I was given a reminder the day before the inspection and a one hour window the morning of the inspection. An electrician from Willow Glen Electric was on hand to answer questions and handle the paperwork with the City. All I had to do was chat a little with the inspector about my installation and my configuration in general.
Everything went off like clockwork. I ended up with a clean and safe install. Now I can charge my EV quickly and safely.

Would give 5 star but on first day when. I discussed my job , I asked them to give estimate for my 2 plug outlets to get grounded , they agreed , noted but in estimate it wasn’t included and they end up not doing that job with my panel upgrades. So you wanna make sure to read and understand the estimate properly that they have included all the jobs required. Otherwise it was good. Clean job, Lawrence and other young guy was awesome at their work. Just took a day to finish our power and panel upgrade with installation of EV charging point.Price is very reasonable .
We wanted to update our family room lighting and Willow Glen Electric representatives did a great job. They listened to what our requests were and then implemented them, including an Alexa light fixture. Everything is working well. Thanks.

I needed to fix/replace the old can lights in my kitchen and got a quote from WGE. They were quick to respond and were able to schedule the work about a week and a half out. They were here on the scheduled day to do the job. Called to let me know they were on their way, showed up when they said they would, were incredibly friendly, and did a great job.
I was very impressed with the customer service in execution of my EV charger installation. These guys are really great. I submitted my deposit on Sunday night and had my charger installation scheduled the following morning. Lightning fast! They are really investing resources to be the best service available. All these other electricians had weeks worth of appointments or made you second guess their education level. I would definitely use Willow Glen again. My only complaint would be on cost. They are expensive for 1hr worth of installation work. But in return you get top customer service, turn key coordination with permitting, all the paperwork, materials, and warranty.

We got a quote from these folks through Qmerit for EV charger installation. Quote was exorbitant and wanted an explanation from them but we haven't been able to get through to them at all. They don't answer calls nor they call back if you leave a voice message. They don't even come home to give a quote. They just go by pictures but I am not sure how they can measure the distance with that.

Very professional business. They always keep me informed about appointments and steps to finish the charger installation. The person performing the installation was efficient and did a great job (and cleaned up after the job). The inspection was scheduled with the city and it went through without a hitch.
At first they placed a sub-panel box that was very hard to open or close. They returned and fixed the box so that is was operable.

I tripped a breaker while making dinner and could not get it to reset, even after unplugging everything that used that breaker. I called Willow Glen Electric (they upgraded our panel two years ago). I left a message; it was after hours. Matt called me back quickly, and came out to look at it. He was very nice and professional. He thoroughly checked the breaker and connections and had it working in no time!

I am doing a kitchen remodel. The first electrician I contacted wasn't able to connect the outlet without changing the cabinets. The second estimate was thousands of dollars. Josh & Zach from Willow Glen Electric came out, connected the outlet and fixed two switches that weren't working for a reasonable amount. They were professional, listened to my needs and priorities and got the job done.

Great experience with Willow Glen Electric. They communicated the whole process very well through both email and text, which worked great for me seeing as I work grave shift. They were able to source a gen 3 Tesla Wall Connector for me even though they showed sold out pretty much everywhere. Installation was very clean and the new panel looks great and will allow for future solar and house upgrades. Price seemed perfectly fine to the amount of work that they did. I didnt really shop around but my experience with them more than out weighed any extra I may have paid (if at all). Highly recommend them, 10/10. Will request them for any electrical upgrades in the future.
I really had great service with Willow Glen Electric c in San Jose, CA. They come out to your home and take the needed pictures of your sub panel. Willow Glen office keeps you informed each step of the way through installation and City Inspection. I had a great experience with them even through the Shelter In Place. Once San Jose City Started back up, I felt like I was first in line to have the Inspection done with a Willow Glen Engineer seeing through the permit process with the City Inspector. I highly recommend this office. My Tesla Wall Connector (3rd Generation) functions perfectly.
I recently had Willow Glen Electric out for an exterior outlet repair, the electrician was very nice and completed the work that was needed. It cost $343 which seemed high for an exterior outlet but I trusted these guys and had a line of other items I was looking to get done. Then I had them out for a full panel upgrade which was to accommodate adding an A/C unit to my roof, I explained this to every single person I spoke with. While on-site they completed another repair on our garage outlet, and even adding one for our washer/dryer since we had too many large items on one breaker. This cost $2,600. They did such a great job and I just had one last piece for them to finish before I could see the benefit of all these added costs. I needed them to come back out to finish the connection between my A/C unit and and my panel, which they had already designated in the upgrade. I spoke with a commercial electrician first and my A/C guy and both said this shouldn't be more than $1,000, especially if they send two guys it should be quick. I was quoted $1,775 at first and said I thought that was high, then she said oh I FINALLY spoke to your A/C guy (it had been a few hours, and he works full time) it went to $1,550 and again I thought what is the confusion here, when it's a single conduit from the garage to the roof , 20 AMP circuit and it's already mounted? Cheryl said okay, we will will just charge you time and material then so it shouldn't be as much and be there Thursday. Well time and material came to $1,445. So it looks like they were going to get their almost $1500 from me one way or another. I paid immediately as I always do with any vendor but feel taken advantage of. Don't get me wrong, the guys are great, but I have now had two electricians tell me I was screwed over and this should have been $1200 MAX. It's sad because they do great work, but I will never use them again. When I explained this to Cheryl she tried to say she never knew this was a roof unit, and thought it was a backyard even though she had pulled my house up on google maps to see how the layout was when I talked about upgrading my panel. Each time I told them exactly what it was, my A/C guy told them, the guys could have seen for themselves on any visit, or even came out to provide a more accurate quote if anyone thought it was going be within the realm of the original. The fault is on me for not standing my ground and saying NO, come take a look and give me an accurate quote instead of just trusting that it wouldn't add up to what they intended to charge me all along.

A job well done the end to end project was very well co-ordinated, providing us with updates and reminders. We failed the inspection first time (due to an issue on our end, not the company's fault) and the company was gracious enough to schedule another inspection after we corrected from our end and made sure it all passed. Definitely recommend.
I had Willow Glen install a car charger in my townhouse and everything, from the initial communication through to the final inspection, went perfectly. Their onboarding process of having me take pictures of my setup was smooth, their communication was always quick and professional, and the actual installation was quick and easy.

Basically perfect experience. They reached out to me with clear instructions on what to do next, scheduled appointments with me, notified me when they were about to arrive, arrived on time, and did their work quickly. I usually experience logistical issues with home improvement services (e.g. home depot staff coming 5 hours late) but experienced none with Willow Glen Electric. My only complaint is that their messages are a bit verbose - I got multiple emails and texts explaining things, but I would have preferred a concise list of action items. But this was a tiny issue and overall I had a fantastic experience with them.

After talking to a few companies recommended by Tesla to install their chargers at home, I found Willow Glen to be very professional and cheaper than the competitor. From arranging for the install to the inspection, they sent reminders and kept me upto date on what was happening with the city inspection. Also, the Tesla charger install took about 1 hr to do and was done very professionally. Would really recommend them highly.
A very well run, highly professional company. Their website for home EV chargers was impressive, provided much information, and allowed me to gather/submit the information they needed to provide an accurate estimate.
Response was very quick. I had the charger installed before some a couple of other vendors even answered my first request for an estimate.
(Yes, I did get a couple of other quotes to compare with...all came in slower than WGE's, and none were as clear/comprehensive.)
Installation day arrived, and the charger was quickly installed with no mess, no fuss.
When the city inspector was finally available, a representative from Willow Glen Electric was here to watch over the inspection ... which was fast and passed easily.

Willow Glen Electric did a great job installing a wall panel for me in my garage so that I can charge my Tesla at home. They were very professional, the workers that installed were very friendly and answered all my questions. They also took care of required city permit and inspection etc. Everyone was very friendly and considerate. I am completely satisfied with their work and would highly recommend Willow Glen Electric.
Installed EV Charger. Work was done professionally. Only reason I am giving them 4* instead of 5* is for some apparent misunderstanding they installed the car charger a bit too high, where my wife could not even reach. They did fix it, but it took some effort in conceiving them that it should not be costing me again for fixing the obvious mistake that they themselves made. Other than that everything went smoothly.
We were replacing our roof and once the plywood was torn up, we noticed some funky wiring in the roof. The roofers were standing by to finish the project. Good luck getting an electrician on short notice, right? Willow Glen had done great work for us in the past, so we called them and explained the situation. They had a crew out first thing the next morning to assess and repair the old wiring. The roofers didn't miss a beat. Great experience. Highly recommended.

Great experience working with the folks at Willow Glen Electric to get a Tesla charger installed in my garage. They were responsive, speedy and efficient through the entire process. You definitely pay for quality work, peace of mind and great customer service. After the final inspection, there was a minor power issue with one of my neutral lines for my speed oven accidentally getting dislodged when the electrical panel was put back on. Immediately contacted Matt Londre and he was able to send one of his top notch electricians Daniel over the next day to troubleshoot and fix the problem. I'm very pleased with their work and would definitely use them again in the future.

WGE provided a reasonable quote to install a whisper-quiet bathroom fan. Another electrician quoted almost twice their price. Some quoted a lower price, but never followed through.
Among the 5+ electricians I called, WGE was able to schedule the install and do the work. Others were either busy or ghosted me when I asked for an installation date. Doug was very professional -- he did the install in a way that I didn't have to patch the ceiling, and cleaned up after. A great ending to a two-week long saga of contacting electricians so I can finally wrap up my shower remodel.

I bit pricey but worth it. Willow Glen Electric installed an EV charger for me. The entire process, from the initial quote to being around for city inspection several weeks after installation, was a breath of fresh air. I'm used to contractors not returning calls, showing up late, taking longer than initially estimated, etc. WGE was the exact opposite experience. I could even track the person while he was on his way - a nice touch!
I had Willow Glen Electric install my Level 2 electric vehicle 220v charger in my garage. They did an amazing job. Two electricians came out, assessed the situation, we talked through the options together, they gave me a written estimate, and did the work all in one visit. The electricians were very friendly, talked me through what they were doing, and when the work was over they cleaned up after themselves. This was by far one of my better home service contractor experiences, and I would use them again without hesitation.
I bought the Tesla rapid home charger. Willow Glen Electric took care of EVERYTHING. Including managing the permit process with the City of San Jose. The unit works as designed and Willow Glen Electric did a great job with the installation, clean-up and permits! I'd give them 5-stars and use them again.
They were great. We had Rafael and Evan. They replaced 7 outlet receptacles and 2 light switches in record time - 2 hours. I am quite impressed. The older receptacles were in tiny old boxes and they still made it work. They discussed with us what to do with our old wiring, and were very knowledgeable and experienced. They were personable, nice guys, and the office staff is great too.

All aspects of the job were well planned and organized from initial quote to final inspection. Virtually all the paperwork and scheduling is handled very efficiently on-line and via email. They even use an app that allows you to track the installer's travel to your home on the day of your appointment!

Willowglen Electric installed a Tesla charger at my home. They were completely professional, right from getting approvals from the city, convincing our HOA to approve and following up with us for a few months after the installation to make sure everything was still good.

I reached out to Willow Glen Electric after going through 3 other electricians for a Tesla EV charger for a shared condo underground garage. The prices from the other electricians ranged all over the place, but the biggest problem was their lack of communication and documentation that was needed for my HOA to approve it.
I found Willow Glen Electric from the Tesla website, and I'm so glad I did. Their professionalism and prompt responses from my first communication were MILES ahead from the other electricians. They had no problem scheduling or dealing with a situation that wasn't completely cut and dry. I really appreciated their ability to find a solution, and to make it happen quickly, efficiently, and at a reasonable cost.

Willow Glen installed a Tesla home charger for us on a leased property in Saratoga. The process to gain approval from the HOA took quite a while and WGE helped us to facilitate that work and did an excellent job with the local laws and our HOA. I'm stationed in Ohio so the communications were key to completing the job. Very impressed with their service.
Be it phone calls, emails, electricians, text messages these guys are professionals. Courtesy, punctuality and tardiness of work are first class.

I can strongly recommend Willow Glen Electric for big electrical projects. We did a subpanel replacement and move (into the garage) with a new smart electrical panel called Span from span.io, as well as a new electric car charger and a heat pump circuit, replacing our natural gas furnace (and adding AC, to top). We already had Tesla solar panels and Tesla powerwalls, which Span now integrates with, so we can control and monitor energy usage per-circuit as well as see the flow of solar, battery, and grid energy. Fantastic! The only downside is that they didn't do drywall repair for this project (which they stated up front, so it was all expected). Not a big deal though and the cuts they made were mostly minimally intrusive so it was fine, and the repairs were fairly easy. I'm looking forward to working with them more for future small projects.
Willow Glen Electric was very professional and responsive to my needs. They installed an outside subpanel for a Sunrun solar system with backup battery. They had a few hurdles to overcome, including the new Arc circuit breakers and did a quality install inside and outside my house

Willow Glen Electric damaged my roof during the upgrade of our electrical panel and power line, but refused to accept responsibility, even though the roof leaked exactly where they were working. There are a lot of other good electricians in the South Bay, steer clear of these guys.
Update (2022): More bad. Willow Glen Electric didn’t install nail plate in wall for new EV outlet (cut corners), meaning 220 cable was unprotected from nails (not to code). Also didn’t replace roof jack. Current electricians told me those are warning signs of poor workmanship.
These guys heavily groom their social reviews.
Team was great to work with. Very clear in their communication and plan for installation. Their team was friendly on site and walked through what they were doing and showed me how to get the most out of the charger.

They did a custom Tesla Charger install in my garage in a location that took extra work to route the cables back to the panel (as far away as it could have been). Being an engineer, I probably know just enough to be dangerous :) but more generally I was very happy with them how they answered all my technical questions and ways we could do the install as well as upgrade it later if needed.
The 2 electricians who came to do the install came on time, were efficient when they worked, were clean, and got the job done right. They were also patient and accommodating with my requests.

The services provided by WGE was exceptional. We contacted WGE to have Tesla NEMA14-50 installed within a week if possible because our Tesla was ready for delivery earlier than anticipated. The process was seamless & the staff was professional and helpful. The installation was completed in less than a week. The crew was punctual and completed the work within the allotted time. I engaged WGE to install a new outlet and extend 3 existing outlet boxes. During the appointment, we determined that the extensions could not be installed until some wall-mounted furniture was installed. This was not expected. I was not sure if I was not clear about the overall project or something else happened. WGE was willing to install the outlet and reduced the hourly rate, possibly to compensate for the whatever may have happened with the outlet extensions. That appointment completed.
Two and half days later, my husband and I awoke to a noise in our home about 4:30 am. We got up to check it out. In doing so, we determined the power was out in a bathroom. We checked the circuit breaker panel to find that circuit had tripped. My husband reset the circuit and immediately there was arcing inside the panel and some hot metal shot out of the box. Luckily, no one was hurt. However, the main tripped. (We live in a condo so the main is not in our unit.) We called WGE once they opened to see if an electrician could visit. We were told to check with PG&E for a power outage in our area and told that WGE doesn't have emergency service. (This was day three of a winter storm event, so there were storm-related power outages.) We knew that power was on in the rest of the building as we had been in the common areas where there was power. Our build's electrical lines are underground and are common for all units. We pressed a bit harder and WGE said they would see if they could get someone out.
WGE was able to schedule two electricians for the last appointment slot of the day (2 pm - 4 pm). The electricians arrived and determined that one of the screws for the panel front nicked a wire inside the panel. (One of the electricians said the wire runs inside the panel were too close to the front of the panel making this possible.) He said the work to add the new run a few days earlier likely lead to screw nicking the wire. That nicked wire, for whatever, reason caused the initial arcing at 4:30 am and then when we reset the bathroom circuit. Luckily, the circuit breaker box was correctly grounded and the main has a GFCI. This reset's arcing caused the main's GFCI to trip. The the safety mechanisms were working as expected. Though, the second electrician said the first one should have noticed that the wires inside the box were too close to the front of the panel and moved them. After some doing to find the correct room in our building for our unit's main, we had power.
We're giving four stars for the following reasons:
- WGE did install the new run and outlet as requested.
- WGE did return our power after the arcing incident.
- WGE did get an electrician out same day even though they do not have an emergency service.
- WGE discounted the first visit and made the second visit free.
- Friendly electricians.
We would have given five stars if the following had not happened:
- WGE electrician on first visit did not notice the issue about the wiring positioning that contributed to the arcing.
- WGE office staff were willing to hear us out more readily about the arcing.

I reached out to WGE to install a home charger for my Tesla 3. The interaction was prompt and professional, from the get go. I appreciate how we were able to get to a proposal - remotely - by answering some questions and sending in photos of my house. WGE stayed on top of the process, all getting the work inspected and a permit issued by the City. WGE were even helpful to get our smoke detectors updated on short notice ahead of the inspection, which we passed. Great experience.

Willow Glen Electric installed a Tesla charger for me. The scheduling so efficient, the installation was flawless and their electronic registration and payment system was state of the art. Five Stars for sure!!
The process to get a quote was very simple and straightforward by uploading pictures. Work quote was detailed and has not changed along the way. Work was executed quickly and well, permits were pulled, results inspected as promised. No issues.
The only issue is the price for a NEMA-50 installation which was almost twice as much as other offers.

Very professional and thorough and very good communicators. When I had a little difficulty getting my car to accept the nozzle of the charging cable, they responded to my plea for help immediately and were able to resolve my problem in a few minutes, all at no charge to me.
WGE quickly and efficiently handled the installation of a 50 amp breaker and a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage. They provided useful feedback on potential outlet locations and once the decision was made they scheduled and executed the installation as well as being present for the city inspection.

However, the skilled electricians at WGE have always gone above and beyond to solve my issues, and done so at a very reasonable price. Recently, they installed some dimmers which have really helped with the ambiance in my living room... they're great on even the smallest jobs!
All in all, Willow Glen Electric is a great company with great people who care about their work and their customers. I would reccomend them to anyone.
I have had Willow Glen Electric do two projects for me and both have been done when they said they would be and totally to my satisfaction. When they were finished they cleaned everything up extremely well! I will be using WGE for all of my Electrical needs!

Fantastic! As a woman, I appreciate that they let me know via text an email ahead of time whom would be coming. Both electricians explained to me how they would trouble shoot and then walked me through the repairs. Clearly not trying to upsell or take advantage; but just wanted to get me exactly what I needed at a fair price. Will use again!!!

Do not use for residential service.
WGE came to re-wire our house, upgrade our panel, and add new outlets and lights. They left our house a complete mess, did not communicate about several areas of the house no longer having power (though they were supposed to have re-wired), and two months later we are still chasing them down regarding multiple issues with their work and unfinished parts of the job.
Terrible communication, terrible customer service. Seek help elsewhere.
They responds my request quickly. Set up an appointment, installed the extra socket for my EV, scheduled a final inspection with the city for the permit. They are very professional. Job done well. Thanks,

Willow Glen Electric truly understands the meaning of customer service. Their flexibility, honesty, and superior work is why I'll only use them from now on for anything I need. They even found a rebate that I could apply for and saved me over $500 which I never even knew existed. Then they sent me a hand written thank you note ... who does that today? Truly best in class service!

I was so happy with WGE for my EV charger installation that I contacted them again when I had another electrical issue with the lightings in my house. Reasonable rate too. Installing Tesla 50A charging unit and a 30A socket in the garage. Work done in a very short time and they even came onsite to support inspection a week later. This is the second house they worked with us. Quality results and quick support.

Call fee is quite pricey, but they were able to come out within a couple hours of calling.
Fixed the problem (non-working GFI outlet for sump pump) within 20 minutes.
Lastly, it was unfortunate that one gal called and said they couldn’t fix the issue, while the other like rang and another gal said they could.
In my opinion, they need to be on the same page but hoping this was just a one time miscommunication between the employees.
Glad we got the problem fixed!

WGE has excellent engineers who can maximize my EV charger outlet which include making my 50A sub panel to 60A to enable 30A charger outlet. Also applied permits, advising me to repair my worn down garage wall for inspection requirements, even recommend a dry wall expert, who did exceptional work. WGE come in and standby on city's inspection day. can't ask for anything more. i had peace of mind throughout the process. i knew i will, since i fill up web forms as i am an engineer myself. Had someone out to estimate a big job and 3+ weeks later still no estimate provided. Emailed numerous times and was told the estimate would be on its way. It never arrived. Would never do business with this company.

I couldn't get a hold of Tesla to save my life, and I ended up getting in touch w/WG Electric re: my Tesla charger and they were excellent in guiding me and fixing my problem! I will definitely use them again.
Heater and some other electric went out for a circuit on a cold day. Cheryl was amazingly fast at responding to my phone call once I realized the problem on day 2 and sent out Matt, an amazing electrician who identified and fixed the problem with incredible professionalism. Thanks to all - and house is warming up as I type!

A week has past - ZERO response, still waiting, numerous e-mail and calls. Do I need to be concerned, I have not even started business with them.

Workers seemed to know what they were doing though it seemed like one was teaching the second worker. Job was completed in a timely manner.
Not exactly pleased with the placement of the bezels.
I spoke with the owner on the phone and he was friendly and scheduled the job for later in the afternoon. Matt came out and fixed power that was out in my kitchen the same day that I called! He also told me about retrofitting some recessed lights in my living room, something I'll probably go ahead with soon.
Awesome business. Prompt, reliable and right in target with trouble shooting. A bit expensive but they do honor senior discounts. You do pay for their expertise but totally worth it.
We have used Willow Glen Electric a couple of times. Both times they have been prompt, courteous, and thorough. We would highly recommend.
