The office staff and the field electricians are excellent. No issues here. They handled everything professionally and promptly.

Our household woke up to a power surge at 3 am during a cold spell. The surge burned out nearly every light bulb in the house as well as two appliances.

I called JJ electric at 7 am, and Jay arrived at 8 am. He restored power to the house, used diagnostic tools, and explained the electricity status of both the townhome and the complex it is in. We have original wiring from the 1960s, and it isn't exactly stable. One household member relies on 24/7 oxygen, so having power issues is more threatening to us than most households. Jay was attentive to the oxygen issue and Covid precautions were taken.

Jay advised us on ideal appliance location, so as not to overload the circuits. He installed another breaker on the indoor fuse panel, and now our power is more stable. He was also able to repair an outlet that had been broken for over 10 years, a service that was not part of our original call.

All the services were performed very quickly, on an emergency basis, and now our electricity is more stable than it has ever been, which reduces our fire risk. The cost for all of this was more than reasonable. We are very happy with JJ Electric; our service call could not have gone better.

I want to commend this company for above and beyond attention to the upgrade required on my old home, built in 1960. I want to single out Omri, Benjamin, Mari for always getting back to me. In addition, a big giant shout out to Matias and his crew. This crew was absolutely awesome, knew what was needed and provided such care in delivering a new upgraded panel in and outside of my home. The PG&E representative gave this crew big kudos also and said he wished all of the panels he has to inspect were done just like at my house which made me feel good about spending my hard earned money. The process took longer than I expected thanks to all the rain this year and coordinating with PG&E but in the end, I am so pleased with the results.

What a phenomenal company! We were looking to install solar in our home and needed to do a main panel upgrade to support the increased load. I reached out to Electric Heroes and they responded to us with a quote by the time most companies even called us back. We couldn't be happier with the work they did for us. The main panel looks and works great. What struck me most about this company was that the entire team was a delight to work with. Ana in the office was extremely helpful and communicative. She kept us informed and explained the whole process to us. Robert who came out to give us the estimate ultimately managed the project. We found both Robert and his crew to be extremely knowledgable. DEC rewired my garage and several outside switches and fixtures. DEC fixed a cobbled up mess that did not meet code. I have complete confidence in their knowledge and ability, and in the work they did. It was comprehensive, met code, is clean and well laid out and everything works for the first time since we moved in. I would recommend DEC to anyone for any size job, with no reservation. I intend to use DEC again to fix more things that were not done properly in the past. Jason and Brian worked hard and smart. Their class of work/knowledge is rare and hard to find these days. My grandma had found that the surrounding area of her outlet was black and she called Pacific coast electricians to come out. They were very knowledgeable and kind with explaining what had happened in her panel and gave her three pricing options, all of which were very reasonable. Earl was very patient with my grandma and she's very happy with the work he did and the price she paid.

JMC specializes in hot tubs. We had them hook up a hot tub that we purchased through a local dealer. The quote was fair, very clearly spelled out what was and was not included in the the hookup, a 50 amp GFCI using a new subpanel replacing an older 30 amp circuit on a 60 amp subpanel. When the hot tub dealer informed us that the tub would be delivered in 24 hours, JMC was able to work us into the schedule to show up the same day as the delivery (we gave them 24 hours notice). The breaker provided by the hot tub dealer didn't work, and the electrician doing the work had to wait for them to reopen the next morning, picked up a new breaker, and we were up and running within a few hours. The GFCI was thoroughly tested, the electrician was friendly and told me everything he was doing. He also picked up a part not included in the quote and installed it at my request (110V outlet hanging off of the panel). Very VERY happy with their work, fully intend to have them out to do more work on our house.

Nick is a very nice and professional electrician!

I contacted him about the circuit breaker issue in my house. Instead of directly quoting me, Nick first remotely diagnosed the issue and proposed two possible root causes free of charge. Turns out the problem can be simply fixed by pressing the reset button on the outlet. Nick did not charge me for anything, and saved me from the trouble.

Such a nice person! I will surely come to him next time when I need some electrical help. Highly recommend!
