Eddie is incredible. We had an emergency panel repair need and Pge turned off power. I sent Eddie photos and explained our problem and he made time to squeeze us in that day. He is an extremely experienced and knowledgeable electrician with impressive problem solving skills and work arounds and he also know his way around the ever changing policies of SF and PGE. We had to have a meter base replaced, not as simple as one would think. He is my go to electrician now and I highly recommend him.

Called to schedule service. Guy answered simply said “we are booked for two weeks right now,” and hung up. Poor. Willing to change my rating if I experience better customer service.

Zoom Electricians has the most affordable price for the light installation I need. The electrician who did the service was indeed an expert in this electrical field. Fantastic experience from initial discussion to install to turn up. Prompt and clear communication throughout. They know their stuff and do a good job.

Very overpriced: quoted me $200 per light for installing two fixtures (~30 minutes of work for $400), even after I had already set up by turning off the breaker, removing the old fixtures from the ceiling, etc.

They charged me $89 for the house call (which I had agreed to beforehand). In retrospect, I should have pushed harder for a quote over the phone. Other electricians were willing to give quotes based on pictures, etc., so this clearly exists just to make money.

Once the electrician showed up, it felt that he didn't think it was worth his time and just wanted the $89 house call fee, so quoted an excessively high price just to end the visit.

Electrical Land is indeed first-class. The girl on the phone was very communicative, and the electrician who went to my house was very expert and diligent in fixing my breaker that needed replacement. Todor and his crew added an EV charger to my parking space in my condo building. Despite a lot of headache from my HOA, Todor was always professional.

Five stars is for great service. But sometimes things don't go as planned. When that happens, a business faces a real test. Do they make things right generously and quickly? Or does it devolve into finger-pointing?

Coil approved an idea of mine that looked better on paper than when a licensed electrician looked at it (and they were right). But this meant locating a charger in a different place. Then they could not produce the charger I ordered. Then I realized that smart-chargers are not that valuable -- they increase charging from 30 MPH to 36 MPH, which is meaningless for most owners.

So several things changed at once. I was not thrilled with the first try, so they sent the team back and got it right. Jaime and Sal are smart and quick and easy to work with. Bobby and Paul made things right. I am delighted with the result and would happily recommend Coil to anyone else putting in a car charger.
