I really appreciated the work performed by Greg, the electrician that visited my home from Point Loma Electric.He did his homework in advance by reviewing the work that was previously done on my home to familiarize himself with the layout, and then did a nice clean job troubleshooting and fixing part one of my issue.Because I have an electric car, I have some additional nuances that required additional knowledge and tracing. Greg used his expertise to not only help troubleshoot, but he also went the distance and stayed with me after he was done with his part, while I contacted the electric car charging station company to help with the next step in the troubleshooting, just to make sure I was completely resolved. We have always been impressed with the excellent work that Zed Electric has performed on our home in Bay Ho and condominium in Point Loma. We moved to our home in October 2016 and John did an amazing job of completing all our electrical up-dates and needs. In August of this year the electrician who put our 220 line in was awesome. We just can’t remember his name. He had the difficult task of going into our attic. Our 1950’s home has a very tight crawl space. When it was completed it looked perfect. This September, Mark was here to set-up the 220 line to our swim/spa. He did a great job. He as well as the others were total professionals and they all demonstrated expertise in their field.Special thanks for Dave Zedaker for coming out to check on the workmanship. That type of management and leadership is not always seen in large corporations. This showed us that you care about the workmanship as well as taking care of your staff

Plugging in two space heaters at the same time turned out to trip two separate circuit breakers. One would reset in the normal way, but the other just wouldn’t reset – whenever I pushed it up and released my finger it would go back down. I’d just assumed that it was physically broken. Rudy was able to immediately identify the problem over the phone and gave me instructions how to set and reset it and some other breakers in the proper order, which amazingly, fixed the problem! These guys know their stuff!

Great team! They installed my Tesla charger, ran an outdoor electrical out line, and installed a wall outlet. They were able to come out and give me a quote within a day and then perform the work within a week. They were competitively priced with others I got quotes from. Super nice the whole time and great quality of work!

I installed a ceiling fan for my bathroom and needed it wired into the wall for a switch. I used Angies List to find them and they responded in less than 3 minutes. Rob had a guy at my house the next day to wire it in. I’m assuming the price was fair but I can’t validate that claim. He also said he had to charge me a bit extra because I found him on Angies List to cover those costs so just call him direct next time to save some $. He also came out for an estimate for a backyard project and gave me a good quote. I’d totally use them again for any electrical needs.

I had Raceway install three cieling fans, an outdoor outlet on a dedicated circuit and outlet in the master bedroom for the television, again on it's own circuit. Everything was accomplished in same day at a reasonable price.

This project involved remodeling a 2 BR unit. Old dark fixtures were replaced with bright recessed lights . Bedroom switches connected to actual lights instead of just an outlet. E.L. did an excellent job, as usual, at a reasonable price. They are my go to guys for all our electrical needs. Go ahead and give them a call, you will be glad you did..

Had outlets installed in the baseboards of a couple of rooms. They work fine and it passed inspection, but the way the wiring was run in the crawl space was not so good. Instead of routing the wires over the pipes and beams they took the shortest path which leaves them in the way for any future work in the crawl space. At one place the wires run around the drain pipes which will interfere with any plumbing work to be done.

Some of my wall outlets in my home were not working. I decided to give Mike at Shamrock Electric a call. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it in just one visit. Super friendly guy and smart on electrical wiring and repairs. I will definitely be using Mike again if I ever run into any wall outlet issues.
