I was so disappointed with the lack of customer service after my friend raved at what a great experience she had had with them. I called to set up getting a bid/ estimate for work I needed done, and the receptionist or whoever answered the phone was unable to do that (my husband and I thought that was odd to have someone answering phone who can't schedule anything). She said the manager was on the phone but could he call me back shortly. Sure, no problem! Being on a time crunch (trying to coordinate electric work before a ceiling repair got closed up), I was surprised to not have been called back over an hour later and decided to call again. This time, the same receptionist sounded annoyed that I had called reminding me she had taken down my name and number... I reminded her it had been over an hour and was simply checking whether the manager (Albert, I think) was off the phone or not. She was able to get him on the line, and it was like talking to non-committal cardboard. He simply stated that if/ when he had someone in my area within the next day or so, they would come out. I didn't hold my breath for same day service, but thought surely someone would be able to squeeze me into their schedule. Well, I'm writing this review to tell you that after my initial call a week ago, no one bothered to call me back or come out to bid... and the project is done. I will be relating my experience to my friend and letting others know NOT to go with Hill Electric.

Luis came out and gave me a bid. I called back and said there be be a slight change and he said no worries. I gave Absolute the project and Luis and his helper, Eddie came out and knocked the job out. Both were very polite and professional. I would hire them again. Dennis Tyll

Now we know why.We got to work with Juan and he was EXCELLENT!! Juan wasted no time in diagnosing our electrical issue. He offered an alternative repair that not only saved us a few hundred dollars, but was a better option because we ended up with an extra receptacle. Juan was on time, very professional, friendly, and respectful of our home. Definitely a 5+ star experience!

We have been using Matthews Electric for all of our electrical needs for some years now. Our home is older and had very limited electrical outlets and breakers. Matthews Electric has helped us change our breaker box and add breakers to become compliant with current guidelines while meeting our current electrical needs. They have changed out ceiling fans and light fixtures, moved light fixture boxes, added outlets in the bathrooms, added exhaust fans etc. In addition, we have had them install outside landscape lighting on sensors to come on and off automatically, outlets on switch so we can control them and add outdoor outlets in the outdoor kitchen, the serving area for hot plates or crock pots etc. They have added outdoor lighting on the house and outlets by each door, outlets for the pool pump and lights. We have a business in the home where we have added several quad outlets on dedicated lines for all of the things needed in an office environment while maintaining safety. The work is all very high quality and they work till the job is completed. Our home is not disrupted for extended period of time which is very important to us. We also trust them as they show respect for our property, clean up after themselves, do not destroy our plants and do not take out excess material if there is any at the end of the job. We could not be more happy with their service. The pricing is fair for the quality of service and standard of work. I highly recommend Matthews Electric.

These guys rock! I was concerned about the install of recess lightning due to no attic access and was very impressed how this team handled it. Very minimal cuts to sheetrock and it really looks amazing. Will definitely be using these guys again for my electrical needs and you should too. recommend them 100%.

We hired Scott and Carol to renovate our very outdated and under-utilized kitchen in our 1930s Monticello Park home, as well as convert a small half-bath into a full-sized bathroom with tub and shower combo. We are absolutely thrilled with the results of both, and have the Kressner’s and their team to thank for it. They were very accessible when we had questions and were so helpful/flexible when it came to keeping things within our budget. Can’t recommend enough! What a great experience! We wanted a chandelier put into our office bathroom - called several other places and got ridiculously high quotes to even come out and take a look. Then we got in touch with this company. They were here within 24 hours and gave us a great price, installed it the same day. Joel was fabulous and did great work. Highly recommend this company!

Great response times, courteous staff on the phones and they are willing to work with your schedule. I called late afternoon January 8th and they were able to fit me in the next day. They came out to the residence first thing the next morning and fixed our outlet problems. Jesse was knowledgeable, courteous, fast and had great communication. I would use this company again.
