Following an electrical repair your technician advised that our 1974 wall box should be upgraded and,upon request scheduled for an estimate. Installation went smoothly and on schedule.
The teams of technicians were courteous and informative when they arrived. It took 4 days, start to city inspection and sign off. We are relieved to have our electrical supply system fully functional and up to code. Thank you. Great job.

I contacted 24HR Valleywide Electric about hanging some pendant lights above my kitchen island, which the home was not previously wired for, and adding a power outlet behind a piece of furniture in my family room so I could eliminate an unsightly extension cord. David was courteous and professional when he came to give the estimate. I scheduled him to come out the following week to do the work, and I couldn't be happier. He did a great job, charged the exact price he quoted and was careful and clean while doing the work. I wouldn't hesitate to refer him to my family and friends ... GREAT EXPERIENCE!! I waited a full week to see if there would be some form of follow up from my service last week before posting my review.
I originally saw the work van on Grand & Vet Owned caught my eye (& tugged at me since my family consists of many branches of service over several generations. I called & set up an appointment for an estimate.
Work needed was a new run in my garage to install the Ring Flood Light, & relocation of the doorbell wiring to accommodate the Ring Video Doorbell. The original appointment I scheduled, I got a call at the end of the window of time I expected the electrician. I was informed they were tied up on a job & needed to reschedule. I get it, things happen & for me it was no big deal, but if someone took off work for the estimate, it would have been a wasted day.
2 Days later, the electrician came on time, was friendly & personable. I felt the estimate was a bit high, but I also know most companies charge for a visit just for an estimate, coupled with the knowledge it was a Vet owned business...I opted to schedule the work. I explained the situation with the doorbell need & wiring the floodlight. The estimate was $1,100 less a military discount (which I did think was thoughtful considering the price) I asked about the patch work for the cuts to the drywall & sadly was told I would be left with the cut outs screwed in & would need to get a drywall guy to make look like nothing was done. Still. I scheduled the next available time.
I showed my wife the estimate & she to was a little concerned about the price for the job. We agreed it needed to be done nonetheless.
The electrician arrived around noon & went right to it. I pointed out the installation of the ring products weren't listed on the estimate, but he said it wasn't a problem, he will take care of it. I also had an outlet I asked him to look at while he was here. It had a loose wire that burned our vacuum plug. I asked how much to fix & the answer kind of stunned me...$100.00. So, a $4.00 part & 5 minutes rated a charge of $100.00. Since he stated it was a wonder the house didn't burn down...I allowed him to replace the burned outlet. A total of 5 hours later, he said he was done, I gave him my card to charge, signed & parted ways. I had a softball game to coach & we were at the edge of our time to leave.
When we got home, I was able to actually pay attention to details. I did the programming of the doorbell & went through troubleshooting with the tech from Ring. It was determined that the fault is in the wiring & not in the floodlight. I pulled the floodlight off & viewed the black wire was cut on mounting the light. Removing the light arced & tripped my circuit to the entire garage. The garage door open, I did not want to leave my home unsecured. Now 9 PM, I recalled this company was 24 hours. My call was answered by a pleasant woman who said this would be passed on. I asked if I would be charged for this after hours service call even though it was the electricians mistake. I got no definitive answer & the return call came some 11 hours later.
I could not stand the thought of leaving my home unsecured for the night as I have valuables in my garage & after waiting 2-3 hours for the return call...decided to fix it myself. Not the handiest person with a screw driver...I felt no other viable option, but I was greatly disappointed to say the least. When I went to the front door, I found all the debris from the job still on the floor & in my daughters hamster cage. I would have thought at least the dust & drywall parts on the floor would have been tended to.
Joe Lake (the electrician) returned my call at 8:06 AM. He explained when he got the call, he had already turned in for the night & just got the message in the morning. I explained I had to repair the wire because I couldn't leave my home unsecured. While I did get an apology...that was the extent of it. I will not be recommending this company to anyone.

We needed to have an electrical panel for one of our buildings replaced due to age-related component failure that knocked out power to one of our units, so we contacted Jeff with Phoenix Contracting to find the appropriate replacement. Jeff was right on top of his game all the way, from figuring out the load calculations, design parameters, submitting that data to SRP for approval, getting permits from the City of Chandler, all the way to installation and test. If we had any questions, he was always available to answer them with clarity. If there was any situation that might be a concern he always let us know, explaining in detail what he discovered. Jeff and his crew members, Mike, Gabriel and Salvadore were always very friendly, courteous, very knowledgeable and professional all the way. Once they had all of the materials available to complete the job they arrived as scheduled, set up quickly and completed the installation within a two day period (!) with minimal down time for the affected apartments. I don't think I've ever seen any crew work that fast and accurately. The safety of their crew, our personnel and of the units was always a top priority. Especially important to us was that when they left the property after completion of the project it was cleaner than when they arrived. Nothing but professionalism all the way! The team arrived on time, I gave them 5 projects that I'd saved up for a while, leaking faucets, corroded shut-off valves, corroded diverters, and a leaking shower handle. They wore booties, kept everything clean, and did a solid repair job. GB is not the cheapest, but they do consistently good work that I feel confident about. Same company also installed our AC units. After 10 years of doing business with them, I have not been disappointed.

Business owner lists a phone number to call but cannot leave a message because the mailbox is full. Slow response to contact him by text. Showed up late. Was told by his diagnosis that a 110 vac vent motor was faulty and needed replaced. He did he doesn't motors. How can you call yourself an electrician but you don't do small motors??? Very unprofessional. Charged $150 and referred an AC guy to call for replacing the motor. Possibly kickback from the AC guy. Stay away from this so called electrician Find one more professional and reliable.

UPDATED review: We were contacted by this business to reschedule and complete the previously discussed work. The two technicians that came out were skilled and very professional. The new light fixtures look great and the guys were able to move a ceiling light and install a fan instead. The requested new power outlet was installed perfectly too. The 4-star review is due to lack of timely communication and the multiple last-minute reschedules. The quality of the work was great otherwise. [][][][][]

[I contacted this business to help us replace some light fixtures/ceiling fan and install a new power outlet for a TV mount. The gentleman I spoke with over the phone was polite and happy to schedule us. The evening before the agreed-upon day of service, he contacted me and said they need to reschedule for another day since they were having issues with their work van. I appreciated the notice and we agreed that he would call me the next day (Tuesday) to set a new time... and then he never did. I messaged him on Wed to try and schedule and we eventually agreed on Friday at 8am. I am typing this review on said Friday at 9:30am - no one showed up and no response by text to my question if the appt is still valid for this morning. I am very disappointed at this rude treatment and the lack of reliability. We thought we were being flexible and understanding, yet we ended with no service and not enough time to get the job done before the upcoming holiday with another company. ]

Great customer service! Andrea scheduled Dennis to come out and troubleshoot a lighting issue I was having and Dennis got my problem fixed quickly.

I requested the installation of a skylight shade from Angi. The skylight isn't more than 8-9' off the ground . I ordered the 24x24 custom shade from Amazon and it's still new in the box. After sending them pics of the skylight, the quote I received was $245. That's more than $110 an hour because I can't imagine the job will take 2 hours to install. Needless to say I won't be using Handyman Connection and I've alerted Angi of this exorbitant quote.

We had a great experience using ATR Handyman and would refer them to anyone that asked. Work was done professionally and cleanup was impeccable.
