Best Residential Electrical Maintenance in Philadelphia PA

My husband and I own a Victorian home in Philadelphia. We decided to finally renovate a 1950's kitchen. We contacted 4 contractors and immediately knew Lauterborn Electric felt right. We were not disappointed. Lauterborn reviewed our needs, suggested important upgrades and took time to explain how different aspects of the project would evolve. The timeline was adhered to and the work completed without any undo delays or hidden costs. The team of electricians who did the work were: talented, highly qualified and exceptionally pleasant to have in our home. Jurgen was great! Very helpful & professional. Took the time to make sure everything was working correctly & not just the issues we were having. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue and resolve it as well as educate us on why it was happening & how we can avoid it from happening again. Will definitely recommend him to others!

GE Electrical was professional and reliable through the whole process. He gave me an accurate quote and completed the job as expected and on time. I had to install a new end box for the underground service wire coming in from the streets with a new meter box.

He installed 7 light fixtures for us 3 that had to be put together because they were specialty fixtures and he put them together beautifully! Pete was masterful and more than efficient! Justin H. Did a great job and seemed very knowledgeable about HVAC systems in general. His diagnosis was spot on and he got my system back up in running that day. He even replaced a part that was on the verge of failing…saving me from another service call in the near future.

They did not resolve the issue. They came three times and switched outlets, charged for them and left. The problem (lights turning off) was not solved and kept recurring. They do not have the expertise to trouble shoot or resolve the issue. Their most experienced electrician does not come to site and tries to trouble shoot over the phone. The nice people who come only know how to change outlets and charge for it.

What a wonderful and reliable and inventive person! I am thrilled with our experience with Steve! He came over and was able to install all of our fans so beautifully and with so much attention to detail. He also was able to come up with a way to fix one of our old fans that wasn’t working anymore. I look forward to hiring him again when I have some electrical things in my house to fix!

Amazing and efficient work. I am not one to normally write reviews, but I really appreciate their work and professionalism. I've used them for a number of projects at my house, including installing outdoor lights, replacing fixtures, repairing a broken ceiling fan, and installing lights throughout my basement (being converted to gym/bathroom space). I've had some bad experiences with other contractors, but John was great to work with. He is professional and efficient. I've come to trust his advice on electrical work and just wish he could do all of my home projects/repairs. He did give me a good referral from someone that does tile work, so that was an added plus.
