Best New Circuit Breaker in Philadelphia PA

Our home had an electrical box from the 60's which was likely the same time as when the service wires from the street were installed. In the middle of a Sunday night I was woken up by a loud bang and all of our lights flickering. I went to the basement to find the wires entering the house scorched, smoking, and buzzing. Since the wires in the wall were still live, we shut the power off to the house. I spent the rest of the night with a flashlight, fire extinguisher, and googling local electricians.Since this was an emergency situation I called several electricians the next morning with the hope someone would get back to me asap. Lauterborn Electric had great reviews and even had examples of our exact issue on their website so my hope was to get through to them.One of the reviews had mentioned to call the mobile # for Lauterborn and to not be discouraged if you went to the voicemail because Larry, the owner, would call you back in a few minutes. Sure enough, this is exactly what happened. I left a voicemail and he called me back within 5 minutes. No other electrician called me back, still hasn't.Larry was very friendly, listened to my issues, and said he would be out that afternoon to look into it. Him and his son Larry showed up, assessed the wires, let me know exactly what I needed and the exact cost it would be and that they could get it done the next day. They also cut the lines to the house so I didn't have a live wire in my wall over night.Sure enough, they showed up when they said they would the next day and finished everything up by that afternoon. Larry and his sons were very courteous, kept the work space clean, and took any residual trash with them.I have some electrical knowledge so I can tell you the work they did was beyond exceptional, they built a wall for the new service box and meter, they installed all of our existing circuits into the new box extremely neatly, they properly grounded everything with the cold water line and a ground rod (which you don't typically have in older row homes), weather proofed and protected the service line from the street all the way down and into the house, and did it all at a great price.I can't say enough good things about these guys. Larry said they do work all over, but we're in Port Richmond so they're local and will be who we call for any electrical work in the future. Thanks again Larry.

Linc Electric is great!!! They came out to my house gave me an estimate and came the next day @ 9am to do the work. I needed a new service line installed in my home and they came and did the work for me ; they gave me a great price, cleaned up after themselves, and had great positive attitudes. I will definitely use them in the future if I should have electrical issues and recommend them to all of my friends.

Very professional, neat and reliable. Called for quote on grounding installation. Mason and another gentleman showed up timely and completed the work professionally and neatly. Also needed main cable box installation they returned with another gentleman and completed the work. Even the gentleman who scheduled the services in the office was pleasant, patient and very kind. New Age Electric did a great job installing some outlets above our kitchen cabinets so I could install my under cabinet lighting system.

So happy with all the work they did. Stay on budget, made adjustments I requested along the way. Identified potential issues and mediated problems. John installed all the lighting fixtures around the outside of my house. It was a job I felt I may be able to do, but might take a whole weekend. Instead, I thought I would consult an electrician to get the job done quick and right. He exceeded my expectations and was done in less than an hour. He worked neatly and efficiently. He was very reasonable and I will surely be giving him more business since I would like to put grounds on all my outlets and install outlets in my bathroom.

Our 40+ year old electrical system overloaded, causing flickering and dimming lights. Mr. Fisher came out the same day and told us exactly what we needed to upgrade and get our system functional. He arrived on the day and time we scheduled and the only way we know he and his assistant George were here is because of the perfectly working lights and electrical sockets. We would DEFINITELY recommend Mr. Fisher for electrical work anyone needs. In our case he replaced a 100 amp circuit breaker box with switches, the external conduit, and repaired multiple electrical sockets. See photos.

What a great company! I'm literally writing a review in the same day that I called, they arrived, completed the work and already left! Am sure I got lucky with their availability a bit, but they were clear, great communication, spot on service and were in and out. It's COVID times, so they were appropriately dressed, masks, shoe covers, in their company clothes. Will use them exclusively going forward. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
