Best Commercial Lighting Electrician in Philadelphia PA

Our home had an electrical box from the 60's which was likely the same time as when the service wires from the street were installed. In the middle of a Sunday night I was woken up by a loud bang and all of our lights flickering. I went to the basement to find the wires entering the house scorched, smoking, and buzzing. Since the wires in the wall were still live, we shut the power off to the house. I spent the rest of the night with a flashlight, fire extinguisher, and googling local electricians.Since this was an emergency situation I called several electricians the next morning with the hope someone would get back to me asap. Lauterborn Electric had great reviews and even had examples of our exact issue on their website so my hope was to get through to them.One of the reviews had mentioned to call the mobile # for Lauterborn and to not be discouraged if you went to the voicemail because Larry, the owner, would call you back in a few minutes. Sure enough, this is exactly what happened. I left a voicemail and he called me back within 5 minutes. No other electrician called me back, still hasn't.Larry was very friendly, listened to my issues, and said he would be out that afternoon to look into it. Him and his son Larry showed up, assessed the wires, let me know exactly what I needed and the exact cost it would be and that they could get it done the next day. They also cut the lines to the house so I didn't have a live wire in my wall over night.Sure enough, they showed up when they said they would the next day and finished everything up by that afternoon. Larry and his sons were very courteous, kept the work space clean, and took any residual trash with them.I have some electrical knowledge so I can tell you the work they did was beyond exceptional, they built a wall for the new service box and meter, they installed all of our existing circuits into the new box extremely neatly, they properly grounded everything with the cold water line and a ground rod (which you don't typically have in older row homes), weather proofed and protected the service line from the street all the way down and into the house, and did it all at a great price.I can't say enough good things about these guys. Larry said they do work all over, but we're in Port Richmond so they're local and will be who we call for any electrical work in the future. Thanks again Larry.

I gave Linc Electric 5 stars because of the professionalism, good value for my money, no fast talk no games, good hearted people. On top of that,! They were always responsive, ON TIME, which is a PLUS for me. They did quality work with paper work to back it up. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE, LEAVE THOSE WANNABE ELECTRICIANS ALONE, WHEN THINGS GO WRONG THEY ARE NO WERE TO BE FOUND. CALL THE REAL ELECTRICIANS, I used Linc Electric twice, I have a few family members who will be using them as well. Aldi and Carmelo are great guys, can't beat the quality service!

I hired Thomas Edison Electric to fix several small electrical problems that needed to be fixed before I sell my house. Old wiring in the house
made the job challenging, but James came up with solutions for all
the problems. Work was done on the day I called.

I called and Al was able to come the next day. He was prompt, friendly, and worked quickly and efficiently. He helped us think through what we needed done on our new house and what we could hold off on. We are very happy with the work and the price came in lower than expected. We won’t be looking anywhere else for our electrical needs.

Amazing service from the estimate/quote to the completion of the job.I needed to have most of my house rewired. Tony came out on a weekend to give me the quote for the job, and they were able to start the project within the week so that it would line up with my schedule. Tony, Edison, and the rest of the team came out to the house multiple times until each and every part of the job was done. Will definitely use again and would highly recommend to anyone needing work done, including large projects.

Excellent service for all electrical needs

I recommend ElecTriCity, I was getting the run around from other companies when I called Florian, he took the time to understand my needs and to explain to me what he was going to do. All the materials used were name brand and top of the line. Florian and his crew replaced my main service line, the old breaker panel which only had 8 breaks for the whole house, my new breaker panel has over 30 breakers. ElecTriCity also installed 20 lighting fixtures throughout the house. They arrived on time every day and the work area was clean. Florian even took the time to ask me what color temperature I wanted the lights to be.I highly recommend ElecTriCity I will definitely use their service again.

Had an outlet with a bad reset on it that needed to be replaced. Called Steve Grau and within 2 hours he was at my house. Repaired the outlet in minutes. Was very satisfied and will be using him in the future. Highly recommend him.

Great service - Came the same day that I called, listened, was kind to my family and respectful of my house. Played detective to a home inspectors inaccurate claims, wrote up a clear and concise explanation and added a GFC outlet. I would hire them again in a second! Good, honest, friendly people!
