Like a lot of people do these days, we recently purchased an older home in Queens so that my husband and I could enjoy more room to work from home (that is, as much as one can ‘enjoy’ working from home). We were really drawn to the old-home-charm of our new place: beautiful hardwood floor, original custom millwork, plaster walls, etc. But, as anyone who has lived in an older home can tell you, old homes can require a lot (A LOT) of work. It has been challenging to find service professionals to help on our myriad of projects. Finding someone right now that you can trust to provide high-quality and timely service…it’s a rarity to be sure.

Stanley is magnificent...He is very courteous, knowledgeable and cares about his customers. When he came out to my house he discussed his services and how they can help in my project with reasonable cost. Randy came out and installed 3 lights outside of our business to make us more visible at night. He sourced the fixtures and gave us multiple options. Because of our rolling gates he had to fabricate an extension which he did quickly and efficiently on-site. He even came by on Christmas Eve to troubleshoot a minor problem with the photocell placement for the timer. Would definitely recommend!

Ilya was wonderful! We called him after discovering that most of the outlets in our new office weren't working. He came by the next day to take a look, gave a very fair quote after just a few hours, and did the work a few days later. He fixed the issue in just about 20-30 minutes and did it quietly, efficiently, and meticulously. We're definitely going to call him back to do additional electrical work!!

Having known David Lavender for a number of years, I asked the Daven team to take over a project from a previous electrical firm. From their initial dealings with the DOB Electrical Division to arranging and attending inspections, then getting the necessary sign-offs, they were diligent and responsive throughout the process. Their analysis of the existing conditions as well as their knowledge of and adherence to the correct electrical codes made working with them stress-free. Administratively, the paperwork, insurance requirements and documentation was clear and whenever a conversation was needed, always available to clarify any details in question.
Even during this Covid-19 period, the site specific work at the operating Tenant space was well coordinated, tidy and efficiently staged so as not to interrupt any daily business.

York was called in to repair electrical meter banks. Great job replacing the banks and upgrading Meyers as well. Little down time limiting adverse effects on residents. I would highly recommend their services.
