The owner responded very quickly to my concern regarding a short circuit in my kitchen ceiling fixture. He was very knowledgeable and efficient and friendly. After he fixed my problem I actually hired him to install a new fixture in my basement and he came back and is in the process of doing the job as I write this review. Top Brooklyn Electrician is amazing. We had a pretty tricky operation to coordinate between the delivery of a dishwasher, the installation by a plumber and the replacement of the electric wire in between the delivery and the installation. They worked with us and was super flexible. He made sure to arrive on site 10 minutes after the delivery to do his work before the installation.

I experienced an emergency. The outlets were down, I was in danger of being not charging my car. I called last minute. I was fortunate enough to have someone arrive immediately and offered assistance.
The guys at Top Brooklyn have been so great. Reliable, on time, honest and they do great work. I had them install a whole house fan for me. They helped me choose the right fan and made sure it would work with all the gables in my house, and the install was quick, clean and easy. We bought a historic home that needs quite a few updates, and we interviewed several electricians, none of which held a candle. Excellent service. No runaround. Highly trustworthy, and reasonable. Definitely not the norm these days so it was nice to have someone who knows what they are doing and trust them. Had many jobs completed more recently remodeling an old home, including restoring electrical that needed to be caught up to code, update panels, switches, moving lights, adding recessed lighting. Having him back for remodel on the kitchen next! Highly recommend!

TBE was incredible! They have great communication skills, are knowledgeable, friendly, safe and clean up when they are done.
First, they both called to set up and appoint and confirm the appointment with a text. I also felt much more at ease and safe when the text image also shows an image and name of the electrician that will come to my home. When Chris arrived he put on some booties too keep things clean and they vacuumed up after they finished. Chris also explained the problem and showed me what he had done when the service was complete. Chris was friendly and had a great demeanor. Chris fixed my electrical issue and I am very happy with everything done. Thanks again

The original wiring in my mother's mid-century house needed replacing and she contacted Top Brooklyn, as older houses are their specialty. They did a full rewire, and every aspect of the experience was great. The crew arrived promptly each morning, were friendly and professional, and answered every question we had, no matter how trivial. They went above and beyond what was needed and we were thrilled. I recently had some work done at my home through Chris. I was very happy with the electricians who came to my house(Chris and his assistant).
They were on time, they were always on task. They were clean, intelligent, and respectful.
They always made sure I had a clear picture of what they were about to do and why. I really appreciated how they always went the extra mile to make sure that they caused the least amount of drywall damage that they could. Unfortunately, there has to be some damage when adding extra lighting and outlets etc. I will definitely be using them for any of my future needs.

Chris came out to wire new lights, install a new smoke detector, and perform other minor maintenance. He explained everything very thoroughly, including reasoning, codes, options, etc. Ajai came later to help out and make the job go faster. Both were very polite, approachable, friendly, and knowledgeable. They worked diligently and got done earlier than I expected. They were considerate of my toddler as well, asking if I needed to keep a basement door closed. Referred to me by my plumber; I would definitely use them again. Not creepy or gruff and didn't smoke, which are three important things I appreciate in service providers!

I contracted with this company to perform extensive updating of the electrical items in my 80 year old home in Brooklyn. The home had previously had work done on it by unknown contractors. There were many unsafe items. They identified what was unsafe and came up with a detailed, written proposal at the time they viewed my property. As additional items were discovered, they presented an up-to-date proposal bid. They did not try to convince me to do more than was necessary and at times convinced me I did not need all I thought I should have done. The three electricians who worked on my property were all very professional, courteous, and had a great work ethic. I would highly recommend this company.

There were two separate jobs that had to done at my home. First a basement outlet was not powering. The electrician was able to restore power back to the outlet within an hour time. The second job was a hallway light and outlet were not working on the second floor for quite a long time and the reason was it was connected to GFIC outlet in the bathroom that had a busted reset button. The electrician replace the GFIC outlet and the for the first time in quite a long time the hallway light and outlet were working. Overall a job well done at reasonable price.
They took down a chandelier and replaced it with another light fixture. I found them to be professional, kind, and polite. I could not be happier with the workmanship and professionalism. I highly recommend them
I called Top Electricians when I needed electrical work done as my hood in the kitchen set about half of the house off, so he came by and found the root of the problem, fixed it and charged a small flat fee, which I thought was great as my previous experience with electricians were very costly.

Chris, Ajai were all involved in fixing multiple electrical issues in all parts of my house. They were prompt, clean and very impressive. The job took nearly two full days, they were extremely flexible to fit me into their schedule right away for this unplannned work. Ajai even offered to stay into the night to finish the job if needed. Luckily that wasnt necessary but a very impressive sign of character. The cost of the job was much less than I expected for multiple people to work almost two full days. They insured everything was proper and up to code. This is the second time TBE has come to the rescue. I am updating upstairs living spaces in my home and wanted to replace the electrical outlets and switch some of them to combination electrical/USB outlets. Chris arrived as scheduled and quickly provided an estimate. Once I OK'd the work, he immediately started replacing the outlets. After replacing the outlets and ensuring that they were all operational, Chris discovered that there was a fault in some existing wiring (thanks to the new GFI breaker that he had installed). He let me know that I could either have him troubleshoot the problem or leave it as is (provided I signed a waiver indicating I had been advised that there was a potential electrical hazard).
Of course I OK'd the troubleshooting. Wouldn't you know it was related to a light fixture that I had replaced a few years ago. If I learned anything today - never DIY electrical updates. Leave it to Chris and TBE.
I am very satisfied with the electrical work done by Top Brooklyn Electrician. The work was very professional and clean cut. I will use Ajay again.

Called a few times left a message nobody picks up the phone or calls back. My review is based on that not their work they might do amazing work but the lack of customer service or lack off it is why I am writing this review.. They were excellent in calling to confirm appointment and explaining that I needed new light fixture which they will return to install.

One setting up the main junction box for my dining room light and hanging the light fixture, and All the lights are smart light and talk to Alexa.
