As Mike Tyson said about Muhammad Ali, In this situation, every head must bow, every tongue confess, Electrician Techs are the greatest electricians of all time. Moshe, the owner, was super responsive and communicative. I live in a co-op, and as you know, co-ops have crazy rules about insurance, licensing, specific hours of working, everything. Electrician Techs can pass all those regulations with flying colors, and you know if they can pass a strict co-op board, they can meet any requirements. Steve was the one who stopped by to do the electrical work for us, and he is not only amazing at his job, he's also knowledgeable, patient, and an all around great guy. We had all of our old light switches swapped out, a new outlet added to a wall, an old ceiling fan removed and a chandelier installed in its place, reversed the polarity on two outlets, and a smashed light bulb from a ceiling light removed. I forgot to remind him about removing the light bulb until after he'd left, and he returned immediately to take care of it. It was completely my fault for forgetting to go through a checklist of all the work, but he was incredibly gracious about the whole thing. Even after the work was done, we reached out to them with questions and concerns, and they answered them all quickly. We are so, so happy with our beautiful new lighting and fixtures, and are planning to call on them again when we renovate. I cannot recommend them enough!

We had a junction box moved and a lighting fixture hung. Moshe was super easy to work with to get things quoted and scheduled and Steve was great with installation. Highly recommended all around.

When I contacted electrician techs, I was looking for some general work to be done around my house. Moe is highly responsive and their method of giving you a quote without paying for a house visit is generally very effective. Juan hooked up a 240v outlet for our dryer in about 4 hours of work. He was friendly, helpful, and efficient. This was my second time contacting Electrician Techs and I would use them again.

Excellent!! I needed a new fixture installed where one did not exist yet, plus a bunch of little random things such as lights flickering, bulbs not staying on et. I had been calling electricians for weeks!! Literally WEEKS. No one would return my calls and the folks who did were not available to come take a look at the job for at least a full month. I had purchased a new fixture that needed to be installed within 30 days (in case I hated it, once hung, I could still return it within the 30 day return policy). Waiting a month for a quote would not work. I hesitantly called Electrician Techs. I say “hesitantly” because I prefer local, small businesses where a local family or person stands behind their work. However, after all my experiences with different contractors for electrical work - Electrician Techs will be my new “go to” for ALL THINGS!! The best!! Within 24 hours of my call: they immediately quoted me after I sent the details of my needs, sent a professional electrician to my home to do the work quickly and with perfection!! Thrilled and will be using these folks moving forward!!

These guys are simply the best. Moshe and his crew are super professional, responsive and get the job done right. Have done about three jobs with these guys and every time has been an absolute pleasure. Setting up the job was easy, the technician communicated every step of the way, and one time he even came back after my family reported the problem came back...no extra charge. You can't say that about too many businesses these days so it feels surprisingly good when you run across an honest vendor that runs a tight ship! Kudos!

Had the pleasure of working with Moshe and Steve on my Tesla gen 3 charger. Moshe answered all my questions and gave me the confidence to move forward with a 60 AMP breaker allowing full charging capacity. Steve came by to install the charger and an external enclosure for the charger. He also grounded two outlets with an open ground and lastly swapped out two receptacles. Price was great and happy with the craftsmanship.

Working with Mo was the most positive experience I’ve had with any contractor/service. I still almost can’t believe how seamless and easy it was! I needed a fairly basic upgrade, mainly for insurance purposes, and spent some time getting estimates which varied wildly and didn't fit the work which was needed. Electrician Techs gave a fast, reasonable and specific free consultation, promptly contracted and scheduled the job, and today had a courteous, friendly, on-time professional get the work done in half a day. All necessary equipment, tools, and clean-up was handled with great care, for a reasonable price - with professional on-line billing and receipt. I'm relieved to finally know of a trustworthy and wonderful electrician, who I will certainly go back to the next time we're in need.

Very misleading quotation - recently emailed a detailed quotation for two repair jobs. Said nothing about paying for both jobs even if one job was not done in the emailed terms. Later pointed to an attachment claiming those had the detailed terms that you had to pay for both jobs regardless of whether job was done or not. Did only one job and demanded payment for both. As a previous small business owner myself, I find his practices very misleading. Buyer beware!!

If I could give a ZERO, I would. Not only did this company open a permit with the DOB to do the work in my house - and then forgot to close it out costing me a few thousand in fees with the DOB, but then, when I notified them that the permit was still open, they had the nerve to tell me I had to hire and pay a new electrician to do the job of reopening the permit and closing it out even though it was part of the original work I paid them for.

A good electrician would've closed it out themselves, and if they overlooked it, would've taken care of the whole thing when I brought it to their attention.

The electrician Steve was wonderful, he went above and beyond to install our system even pulling out some carpentry skills to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted. We had an issue with our electric baseboard heater, and had an electrician come out who misdiagnosed the issue and then tried to charge us an insane amount for an issue that wasn't fixed. We then looked for another electrician and found these guys and they were amazing. Extremely responsive and extremely reasonable and straight forward pricing (no hidden charges, etc). Their tech was able to diagnose the issue immediately, and fix the problem. We even had them take a look at a few other smaller items around the townhouse that they were able to fix. Will definitely be using them again for any future needs!

Prompt response beginning with initial contact all the way to the job completion. Electricians were prompt, polite and efficient. What couldn't be accomplished by the building's handyman was easily done by Electrician Techs. We had a funky wiring situation in a bathroom, and wanted to install a new smart switch (humidity sensing fan switch), or at least find out if it was possible. The technician was punctual, patient, and helped cleanup the switch box. In the end because of the old wiring in this old house we weren’t able to connect the smart switch, and installed a traditional timer switch for the fan. In the end we were very pleased with the service provided, and the rate was very reasonable for the amount of time and effort this took. Would definitely hire again.

Outstanding service! I had an issue with our light on our ceiling fan and placed a call and they took all of my information and were very thorough and courteous. A few minutes later I was contacted and told they could have someone scheduled to come out the next day and gave me a formal quote. The next day, the tech called me beforehand, was prompt, repaired the issue and was very professional, and answered all my questions. I highly recommend them.

The job entailed putting an outlet behind the panel. Mo sent someone promptly who was professional and timely. The work was done nicely and it was reasonably priced for Manhattan. This is my third time using electrician tech and I can’t recommend them enough! My lights were flickering sometimes not even able to turn on. Mo is so easy to work with and very reliable I explained the problem over the phone he knew the issue right away and he sent out an electrician the next day to Check and fix the problem. They installed new electrical wires and box and added a new switch to both rooms. They were on time, they were very efficient, and they cleaned up after themselves. I contacted Electrician Techs and Moe set up an appointment to troubleshoot a ceiling fan that wasn't working. Steve, the electrician, came in and did an excellent job, getting that older ceiling fan working. The appointment was scheduled for Friday 5/13, but Steve called Wednesday afternoon 5/11 and came over that evening. He was professional and efficient. Great company, great experience!

The team did an excellent job! There was quite a bit of work to be done in 6 apartments and they worked very efficiently to get the work done in a timely manner and with great quality. The pricing was very reasonable and they are extremely professional. In fact, I ended up expanding the work and they were able to accommodate the change within the timeframe allocated. I highly recommend Electrician Techs. I originally had 3 outlets moved, a reconfiguration of some switches in the circuit breaker. I ended up scheduling again them right away to install 6 recessed lights. They were always on time and scheduling was easy. Our electrician, Juan, was very easy to discuss things with to decide placement of outlets and lighting or any questions we had. They also sent their insurance paperwork to the coop property manager the same day I scheduled. Great work and reliable!

It’s difficult to find honest and friendly electricians especially as a woman. I really appreciate the patience and professionalism. The electrician (Steve) who Moe sent over is very good, he takes his time to get the work done, he even asks for a broom to sweep the dirt on the counter after he finishes installing the electrical outlet.

Great job installing emergency exit lights that I need for my home.

I used this group to install an outlet in my home. I recently found out it wasn’t grounded. I brought this to the attention of the owner (Moe). He, nor his technician (Carlos) took any accountability for the mix up.

The group is very unprofessional and are not very clean when working. I’d suggest that anyone thinking on using this vendor, seriously reconsider.

Tried installing a couple of ceiling light fixtures with the help of my dad, but was unsuccessful so called around to see if I could find an electrician who could complete the install the same day. Was given a reasonable estimate and an electrician came within a couple of hours and completed the job in about 30 minutes. Electrician also gave me some good advice about a light switch outside my bathroom that I want put in the bathroom, he suggested I get a wireless light switch (didn't even know it existed until he mentioned it) from Home Depot, replace switch with a blank switch plate, and put the wireless switch where I want in the bathroom.

I reached out to Electrician Techs based on online reviews, and was not disappointed in making that decision. Dealing with Mo was easy and efficient as we worked via email and their online messaging system streamlined everything. The technician, Harris, came and gave an estimate and then did the job just a couple of days later. He worked neat, fast and professionally, leaving my home impeccably clean after his work. The price they quoted was the price we paid, no surprises. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and use them again.

I had Electrician Techs install several light fixtures, including two new wall sconces and bathroom outlets for me. Mo was very responsive and gave me an excellent quote for the work to be completed. Electrician Techs was very professional. I inquired about their service and I took videos and pictures of the job and sent it to them and they responded the same morning with a proposal. After I agreed to the proposal, they were able to schedule me right away. The electrician came and was very professional and knowledgeable. He fixed one outlet, changed four outlets to GFCI outlets and change out our Federal Pacific Panel. He wore face mask and foot covering. He finished and swept the place with a broom after he was done. Overall I am very happy with the world.

Moshe sent a very nice electrician to my apt in Carroll gardens, bklyn install two fan/light fixtures in December 2020. He was professional and polite. When I thought there was a problem post-install Moshe was quick to respond and sent the same person back to check out the issue. My only complaint would be that the electrician himself was heavily overbooked so it was hard to plan around him. He ended up coming quite late on both days.

These people are great, I described the job to Moe, he have me a quote, and I pay half as down payment on their online portal. Then Moe asked me for my Co-Op COI requirements, which he probably gives you. Then an electrician will be assigned for the job, which was done quickly and professionally. Price is reasonable, company is responsive, and I would hire these people again

He took the time to listen and share feedback about moving an electrical switch in our coop. Also, coop approval can be tough, but Moe made it easy by sending all paperwork for the coop promptly, and always keeping me updated each step of the way. Moshe is fantastic and I cannot recommend Electrician Techs enough. I had purchased and renovated a two family home in 2018. Unfortunately, my original electrician never pulled a permit and disappeared. Moshe stepped in to pull the permit, arrange inspection, Con-Ed meters, and remediate the work that was not done properly. Moshe was easy to communicate with and patient with needing to coordinate apartment entry with tenants. Would work with him again.

In a very old house with messy wiring and circuit panel, this firm did an exceptional job: fast, neat, polite, flexible and professional through and through. This was a complex one day job with several different components (low voltage GCFI outdoor installation; drop ceiling light fixture rewiring, boxes and installation; multiple receptable upgrades; exterior motion sensor fixture installation; new 20V wiring and outlets to a full circuit panel; testing) and every piece was done brilliantly and neatly. Electrician help cannot be better than this.

This is the 3rd time I've used Electrician Techs. I continue to use their services because they are an A+ service. The wiring in my apartment is only marginally post WW11. In spite of the age, ET has completed work that is as good as if my electrical was completely new. Today, the liglhting fixture and outlet was fixed. I had several online communications and phone calls even before an estimate was generated. The owner is spot on. I highly recommend using ET. I'm very happy and plan on using them when total rewriting is done.

Excellent work. Had two electric outlets in a Bushwick Brownstone building. Needed both fixed ASAP . Had my superintended let them in to lead them to the source of the problem. 2 hrs later, problem was fixed. Outlets still work fine to this day. Cost I think was $75. Highly recommended.

I used Electricians Tech last August to upgrade the wiring in my pre-war apartment (built in 1910) in Manhattan and I was extremely happy with the service. While the floors were being replaced they not only added 8 new electric circuits to handle the demands of a present day home (air conditioners, iron, hairdryers) but they also put cat6 wiring in all rooms and placed new cable wiring under the floors. All of this was done with one very experienced technician (Aron). He has experience in electrical, computer and cable wiring.
I give them my highest recommendation.

Steve and Mo is a great team. They installed chandeliers and smart switches with great care and patience.

Mo misquoted both price and timing.
Instead of 3 weeks it took 3 months.
Instead of 17k it was 26k.
Mo also removed his crew from my job site on 3 separate occasions.

Had a total rewire job that was handled poorly by Mo. He underestimated and understaffed the job, and when things went bad he added costs and after every partial payment he took his crew off-site to work on other jobs.

This job could have been completed as quoted but he cut so many corners that it ended up costing everybody a lot more money.

July 2018, Electrician Techs disconnected the electric meter in my home and routed the electricity through another meter. ConEd says Electrician Techs did not file the paperwork and disregarded requests. ConEd now plans to turn off my electricity. Despite 5 phone calls, no one from the company has responded
