Emergency issue in a new condo, so had to search for a new electrician. Electrician came out pretty quickly (or else this would be 1-star) and charged me $160 to tell me to call ConEd. This would be fine if I didn't have ConEd come out to tell me that I needed to call an electrician, not their issue...

Also just not a lot of information when I called about the process, whether or not electricians are licensed. Didn't get a great feeling...

I don’t live in queens anymore however my mom still does in an apartment in a house we own in Astoria, My mom who's 95 called and said she heard “crackling“ and smelled something like rubber melting near an outlet were a power strip was plugged into. We went on-line and found DAVEN electric and contacted them, when we spoke with Jen I explained the matter and the fact that my mom is getting up in age and can be a bit nervous. Jen transferred me to the owner Dave whom whilst I was on the phone with him called one of his field Staff and instructed him to get right over to my mom, found the issue and correct it. Mike from DAVEN arrived in 40 minutes, found and corrected the matter and made my mom feel at ease, I CANT TELL HOW CRUCIAL making my mom feel at ease is !!!. Dennis and the team at York were excellent. We hired them to run power to the far end of the yard for a pool as well as installation of outdoor outlets. Vlad was introduced to us by someone who had used him and stated that he was a competent and honest guy. After using him , we agree 100%. We have an apartment in Manhattan. Vlad fixed our kitchen faucet which was clogged with rubber that had broken off from the valve. He also replaced some door knobs, hung two heavy mirrors and repaired a toilet tank float. We are glad we met Vlad.

Don’t ever use this company. Their employees blocked my dad with their truck from parking in my driveway saying he almost ran him over to get the spot. He then proceeded to be nasty to us. My dad is 85 years old and it’s 20 degrees outside. Horrible
