I got five bids to install a 40 amp circuit and wiring to a new double oven. All the houses in our development are only capable of 30 amp. New York City electricians had absolutely the most elegant, non-invasive solution at less than half the price of everyone else who are literally going to rip up the yard and the house to do it. New York electrician came in and wired the 40 amp circuit in such a way that not a single hole was left in the ceiling inside the house only a hole in the garage which they replaced beautifully. I chose them because Stanley really knew what he was doing, communicated well, and stood by his word. I'd recommend these guys for any electrical work and I've done over 10 flip houses in East village New York

Excellent Service provided by PK to one of our clients that required a quick turnaround. PK did a great job with their team coming onsite and installing a new electrical circuit for project we were working on.

We recently had an electrical surge in our office that left us with flickering bulbs and blown out surge protectors. Roman and his team arrived promptly and in the span of roughly a day and a half completely fixed our electrical issue and even made a few adjustments to our existing wiring to make sure we were up to code. Roman & his team are professional, knowledgable and completely on top of it. Fantastic work and wonderful customer service.

Klodian and team were great. We had to replace all of our recessed lights and add several new ones on 2 floors. They also added several dimmers and replaced all our switch plates.

They provided great consultation about our options before the job (and actually guided us away from more expensive options) and quickly shared a detailed quote which was very reasonable.

During the job, they put a lot of time into preparing the area to prevent it from getting messy (even wore shoe covers) and ensuring the measurements were precise using laser rules. They got the job fairly quickly (all in 1 day)

They also took all the COVID-19 precautions with masks, etc.

Very disappointed with the level of service and professionalism of Daven Electric. They were contracted to do the Electric and Fire Alarm work for my new small business in DUMBO, and failed to deliver every step of the way. They did not order critical equipment from their preferred Supplier in time to meet the project deadline, and then made no attempt to find alternate equipment anywhere else. The rest of the construction was complete, but I couldn’t open for an additional 2 months due to this incompetence. I still had to pay rent on the space and missed out on 2 months of revenue during the peak holiday season.

Finally, desperate, I (with no experience in this field whatsoever) contacted various local suppliers and had the equipment made and on site in 1 week – what they could not do in 4 months! Further, Daven then had the audacity to refuse to complete the work and I had to scramble to find another electrician to finish THEIR job. Icing on the cake – they failed the inspection and delayed my business opening yet another 10 days. Just another example of a typical lazy contractor that takes no accountability for their actions (or inactions) and expects small business owners like myself to not only do their job, but also pay for their mistakes. AVOID this company like the plague if you want to work with a reliable and ethical contractor.

We hired York to upgrade our main electrical service for our strip center. This was a huge job requiring constant coordination with ConEd and other city departments. Dennis was professional and upfront regarding the challenges and costs of the job. His crew did great work and the finished product was exactly what we expected (and NEEDED for our tenants). Following that job, we had York return to rewire a fire damaged basement to ensure the space was safe for occupancy and, again, the job was done very well. This is a family business as Dennis runs York with his cousin, and his son works on site. No complaints. I strongly recommend York.
