First visit, my water heater was not installed up to code. Took a half day off work to have someone come out to fix the issue in the afternoon, and he didn't show up until well after the time window (and well after the time I would have been off work anyway), only to tell me that he didn't have the time to fix everything that was wrong with it. He also told me that HE would personally be coming back to fix it and that he was going to call his supervisor about compensating me for the time I took off work, which never happened. So I get scheduled for another day, and I text the guy who said he would be coming back to fix it himself the morning I am scheduled for to confirm he is still coming and he said yes. Later that day, the same technician who installed it incorrectly the first time shows up to fix it. Okay...That same day (so I didn't have to take ANOTHER day off work for ineptitude), I also had people working in my attic for new insulation. The ARS technician told me he needed to go to Home Depot to get some supplies (which didn't make sense because he should have brought everything he needed with him if he had the report from the inspector outlining everything that was wrong). That was the last I saw of him. I had to call ARS to ask if he was coming back, and apparently the technician told ARS that he didn't have room to work because of the insulation guys, who were not in his way at all. There was a ladder in the garage to access the attic and that was it. So ARS finally sent another guy out after 7pm to fix the issue. And then I had to take more time off work to have it reinspected.I got saddled with ARS because I bought my water heater through home Depot and they contracted insulation through them. Never buying an appliance from Depot again.
