We had a really good experience with Max Electrical Services. They return calls and show up when they say they will. On the scheduled day the owner/supervisor arrived with a two man team. He made sure that we were all clear on the placement of lights and a fan. At that time he left and the two technicians took over. They really worked well together and completed the job with a minimum of drywall cutting. We were really impressed with their work ethic and attention to detail. Other companies could learn a thing or two from Max Electrical Services on how to conduct a business.

We were introduced to Klock's many years ago for fan installation in our home, and at the time we didn't know they also performed simple electrical repairs and installation. Since that time, we have tried other electricians for various odd jobs and repairs around the house, but their quality, pricing, and availability were always variable (and often disappointing). Recently, we have required odd jobs and additions in our home due to upgrading, and so we called Klock's to give us reliable service. Their bandwidth is amazing (i.e., they can handle almost any electrical job we need), and as time went on we noticed they are not only reasonably priced compared to other electricians, but very responsive and friendly. They return calls promptly, can often determine our exact needs over the phone, and we don't have to wait several weeks (or a month) for the job to be completed. They are now our go to company for all of our electrical repairs and new installs. They might have a ceiling on what they can do, but we haven’t yet found it! Highly recommended!

Good ol' Austin Energy decided my meter was failing, pulled it, then decided my connectors were too old and ran off with the meter and a note on the door. So, no power and 20 degree winter mix on the way. Found out about this at 2pm after finding the note. Called AE and they basically said too bad, you gotta call an electrician. Called Dial One since they were near the top of the search results.Dial One sent Tom out quickly, but took about an hr for him to get down to my house. On the way he had me txt him some pictures of the hole that AE left. Dial One got he permits started and Tom went back out to get the parts. He got it all repaired by 5:30 or so... Then was willing to sit around and wait for an inspector and then again for the actual crew who had the meter to put back on. Didn't leave until about 7:30.Austin Energy gets 0 stars for the initial inspector who clearly wasn't thinking about leaving a family to freeze. The AE crew that came out to inspect the second time and reattach the meter get some stars as well. Not their fault and they did their thing quickly and left.Dial One and Tom get 5 stars easy. Did everything I would hope for and more.

I have used AC Electric several times and I highly recommend them. They are prompt, efficient, very skilled and extremely pleasant to deal with. In addition, their prices are very reasonable. In fact, on occasion they have stopped by to check on my problem, fixed it quickly and didn't charge me. They are great!

Our lights have been acting weird flashing on and off. A electrician from Austin Energy said there was corrosion in our meter can. Today Ray came out and waited for another Austin Energy to shot off the power so Ray of Bowne could replace the bad parts. He is now waiting for the power to be restore. We are delighted with how Bowne responded so quickly and for the excellent work they continue to do for us.

I had a total of five lights installed across my house, and I am absolutely in love with them. The electrician that I worked with was amazing - he made the whole process easy and painless. He even helped me figure out how to install them all on my own!

Ok - just leaving HEB on way to my car and unbeknownst to me, I dropped my phone (which also had my credit cards/ID).2 men in a Hurley Electric truck honked to get my attention and alerted me I dropped something. When they passed and asked if it was my phone, I shared it also included Credit Cards/ID. I thanked them profusely and they winked and tapped the Hurley Electric logo on the truck door and said. Don’t forget about Hurley next time you are in need.chivalry, professional and Texas warm exuded from them; which only spills over into their quality. Will definitely use them whenever I am in need!!!!!! THANK YOU gentlemen

I cannot recommend A-One Electric. I had an issue with a bedroom where every time I flipped on a light switch it tripped the breaker for the bedroom. A-One's technician arrived unprepared (without even the right type of breaker to swap into my panel) and without the necessary expertise to diagnose the problem. He looked in the light switch box and, without unscrewing anything, concluded everything looks right to me. He told me he could hunt around for the problem, but since he didn't know what he was looking for, he would only find it by luck. I told him no thanks. I gave a call to a friend of mine, and he explained that what I was looking for was something that was causing current to leak onto the ground wire, because this would cause the breaker to read a higher than normal change when the switch was flipped, and therefore trip the breaker. I found the problem - a wire with a slice in its protective coating - in the same switch box the technician had glanced in. A one-inch piece of electrical tape and the problem was solved. A-One sent me a bill for $95 for doing nothing. I understand the trip charge concept, but considering the details of the trip, I don't think it was deserved. I offered to split it with them ($45) and they said they would take me to small claims court. Nice.
