Wishing I had read these reviews beforehand!Similar to other stories here... I called to get an idea of how much it was going to cost to convert an outlet for an electric dryer. I was told $59.00 to get an estimate. Based on my research it should only cost a couple hundred for an electrician to switch the dryer outlet.The technician that came out, Brian, was great. He was friendly and helpful, but their prices are ridiculously expensive. $1000-$5000 to switch an outlet.I understand there was a hiccup with the space that we had and it would require adding another small box but that seems outrageous to me.I wish they had a better intake process to avoid this. Felt like a scam just to get the $59. And it wasted my time.

I can not recommend them more. They are fast, helpful, and overall great people! Zach helped a lot with HVAC work and explained all the work we needed to get done, and was super supportive. Aaron was our electrician, he helped us understand the work that we were doing, and what he did, and was an absolute pleasure to work with.For some context, we had a fire in our backyard, and they came in and helped us fast so we could get back in our house ASAP.Thank you Abacus!

Always on time and thorough

After countless unanswered calls to multiple plumbers after the Feb-21 snow/ice storm, Paul from 1st Home & Commercial Services came to save the day. We were unlucky, but luckier than most to only have our tankless water heater burst from a frozen pipe. After 15 days of no hot water, Paul came by and replaced our tankless water heater and provided thorough explanations and professional quality service. He was efficient with his install and was able to help us cut costs. We will continue to use this wonderful company for all of our repair/maintenance issues in the future! Thank you!

Kelvin & Manny did an awesome job with an AC unit replacement in our apartment unit. They were friendly, prompt, clean, and diligent. They were courteous throughout the entire day, and did a fantastic and high quality job. They made sure our questions were answered and that our place was spotless before they left. I chose ARS because they advertised for an $86 service to unclog a line. The representative came in and said he will be charging $418 to do the job. I said NO thank you. I will be looking for another plumber.
