James W from Mr.Electric was awesome to help me understand my older home’s electrical problems and needed repairs. He helped me prioritize work needed today in terms of safety and will do some additional work in near future involving city permits to bring my electrical system up to code. He was very professional, on time, and worked efficiently. Overall communication with Mr. Electric has been excellent including the office staff.

Derin came and installed two 220 V circuits in my garage for electrical vehicle charging. He was on time (actually a bit early), completed the work in less than an hour and a 1/2, completed the work for below his initial estimate (which was already under competing electricians) and conscientiously cleaned up the area. I'd recommend him to anyone that needs electrical work done in their home or small business.

These guys are frankly the best in the business!! Very timely, prompt and friendly. Jaime came by and quickly tended to all my requests which included swapping switches, installing a light fixture and helping to raise a chandelier. Highly recommend!!

We called Malco Electric to replace our electrical panel after two separate recommendations from family and our realtor. We were impressed from the start when Randy, the owner, came out to our house to give an estimate - and the man is beyond gregarious. Unlike the other companies we called, Randy noted the need to ground the new panel. We were also anticipating a months-long wait time due to city permitting turnarounds but Randy also offered us an alternative to that - we had to move out for a couple weeks but are so grateful to Randy for thinking outside the box for us. Once we decided to move forward with the work, Randy called me almost daily with updates from the city from the time the power was shut off until we got word that the work was approved and electricity would be turned back on. The day the work was done (yes, just one day for a full panel upgrade), Randy was out there with his guys getting his hands dirty. We appreciated the excellent work and the customer service and we plan to use Malco Electric for all our future electrical needs.

Because of the renovations, I had them perform a lot of work. Professional, courteous, and great at clearing up after themselves and communicating, even setting up work times! Thank you, extremely satisfied client.

Jonathan was, hands-down, the best home repair/tradesperson we have ever worked with in over 30 years of homeownership. When we had a near electrical fire because of a much-outdated breaker panel in our 1922 house and Jonathan found out about our situation, he began managing our project at a moment's notice. While larger companies were wanting to set up appointments for the future, Jonathan immediately understood the emergency nature of our problem and instantly engaged with our project with photos and questions. He proceeded to coordinate the permits needed with the city and the energy department right away, and he even drove to the city office in person to move our work along faster when city office workers didn't return his calls. He communicated clearly about the process every step of the way; he was efficient and on time; and he was a strong advocate for our emergency project with the horrible bureaucracy that is the City of Austin. The electrician very knowledgeable and professional however there was nothing wrong with my switch, it was something else and they have this fee that set me back 150 dollars just for this little check up, wish they would have tell me when I set the appointment.

Global Electric is now my go to company for whatever work I need done. I ended up with a lot of water and electrical damage last February 2021, during the big freeze. It has taken a long time to get all the water damage repaired. But when it came to the electrical Global did a great job. They were on time and reasonable priced. I would recommend them to anyone.

Gilbert and his apprentice Mason came today to repair several issues at my house. They are a really great team who installed a bathroom fan / heater, removed a 240v microwave for service, repaired a wiring problem that restored power to bathroom lights and Jacuzzi tub and more. We planned a future call to repair under cabinet kitchen lighting, install a new fan in the kitchen and replace a bathroom fan. Gilbert is a pro a pleasure to work with. Fair pricing for guaranteed work. Highly recommended!
