Best Electrical System Safety Inspections in Jacksonville FL

Recently had Ethan and Devin here to service my generator which they did quickly and efficiently. They arrived on time, acted professionally and respectfully. I highly recommend American Electrical for any of ones electrical needs.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. We needed a panel replaced and they were very nice and easy to work with! Very accommodating on dates and times. I would highly recommend them!

I called GNH to swap out an old ceiling fan with a new one. All the wiring was in place. I asked for a quote over the phone and they said for some reason they couldn't give me one. My usual electrician was booked up for a few weeks and GNH was available the next day. They said it was a $50 service fee to come check it out which would be applied to any work done. Although I thought it was strange they couldn't even give me a ballpark estimate on the fan replacement, I needed it done quickly so I had them come out. The electricians were nice and showed up on time. But as soon as one of them looked at the fan he said did they give you a price over the phone? I told them they said they couldn't do that...then I had a bad feeling. He immediately looked at it and said $200. I thought that's a little high but I need it done, plus it's really just $150 because the service fee would be applied to the final price. They finished up in about 30 minutes and the fan works fine. They didn't show me an invoice, just took the card and ran it. I said So that's 200 minus the 50 dollar service fee? He said yes and ran the card and I signed. Later that day I looked at the receipt they emailed me and it was $200. I emailed them saying it must have been a mistake, and they said no...it was $250 minus the $50 service charge. I told them that's not what I was told. They basically said, well too bad you approved it. I told them I was told I was paying $150 and they just RAN MY CARD WITHOUT SHOWING ME AN INVOICE at all, no matter what they say or how they may respond to this. Then they stopped emailing me back. So BE CAREFUL and demand a quote over the phone...if they won't give you one...find someone else.

All of the employees at Burbank Electric went above and beyond to help my husband and myself. This is the first time we have needed an electrician and they were very helpful and informative throughout the whole process. They were able to come by our home just a few hours after contacting them and fix the electrical problem we were having. From now on they will be my fist call whenever needed. Excellent Customer Service!!!

Update: Called Burbank Electric again for issues that we were having with our microwave and as always they were extremely helpful and efficient. It's mid November and I was grateful that they were able to come by so fast even with the busy season. I truly value their service!!!

I'm a general contractor and I've used a lot of electricians. Bryan and his company are top notch. They are honest, dependable, hard-working and competent. He's a great guy, but don't tell him I ever said that. Keep up the good work fellas (and girl)! I don't hesitate to recommend Dependent Electric every chance I get.

Good company very efficient

Not only was Levi knowledgeable and professional as he tested my electrical system for safety but he took the time to listen attentively to my concerns and going the extra mile to check and replace a switch in my bathroom that he discovered was cracked. It was obvious he really cared. His responses were reassuring. When he left I thought “what a good experience.”
Also I have to add that the dispatcher Ed who called me initially to set up the appointment the day before was well-spoken intelligent and personable.
An overall good experience I appreciated. Would highly recommend this this company.

The best electrical testing company. Can pull your business out of a pickle. Power failure, maintenance service, including switch gear, breakers, panels and ground testing. This is just a ideal of what they do plus i.r scan.

Dave and Larry were incredible got in did the job , they treated my home like it was their home and covered everything up, which was vital in my situation, wiped everything down after they were done, these guys didn’t mess around and what was supposed to be a six hour job turned into a four hour job and save me money , Also Mayer was right on target as a project manager and told me when they would be here and how it would get done. Terrible service. My landlord and I have been trying to schedule an appointment with them for over a week. I stayed home from work today because I was told we had a 8:30 AM appointment and they never showed up. I then called 2 times to follow and 1 of the 2 I spoke with someone at 10:45 AM and was told he would call me back to figure out the miscommunication and it is not 3:30 PM and I have yet to hear back from them. Use with caution or if you have a job that is flexible and allows you to be at A1's beck and call.

Saw one of their drivers blatantly run a red light off the Arlington Expressway. A company that shows disregard for safety is one that shouldn't be recommended.
