I recently had Joe Schmo come out and install two fans on my porch for what was a fair price. When I returned home and saw how it was done, I realized there had been some misunderstanding as to how the electric was to have been installed (on both sides). I expressed my dissatisfaction and they came out and redid the work with little trouble. I appreciate their dedication to my overall satisfaction and their continued professionalism through the misunderstanding.

Called for an estimate for the electrical component of a bathroom remodel. Was not told at the time that there would be a charge to provide the estimate. Reviewed the plans, but Ryan did not discuss any potential issues with a dedicated circuit, or even look at the electrical panel. Even though this is an older house! Was asked for a $65.00 payment before leaving our house. I looked on the website, and the estimate charge is buried under a couple of tabs, and it says $50.00. When I brought this to his attention the response was, oh ya, I need to have the website updated. As of today (over three weeks later) it still says $50.00. When getting other estimates the electricians checked the panel, informing me that I would need to run an additional circuit to the bathroom, which means that his estimate for $65.00 is worthless. Also to note I've had several estimates for plumbing, electrical, etc. and not one has charged a fee. Will not use this company, and would not recommend. I would expect when paying for an estimate (not the industry standard it seems) it would be complete and thorough. I get the feeling this not much more than a quick stop on his way home on a Friday afternoon.

First week of the shutdown my dryer went out.
When I went to get a new one I got an electric dryer but the outlet did not work. I live in a fairly old home and fearing the worst I put off calling an electrician for another week but finally gave in. A competitor told me that in order to just have someone out to take a look at it, it would end up costing me $135, but if I did the work through them it would go towards it as a credit.

Ended up calling Advance Electric, and they said they would send somebody out to do a free estimate, who could do the work on sight if I chose to have them. I feel terrible about this but, for the life of me I cannot remember the name of the woman I spoke with, however she was extremely professional and courteous over the phone.

Djay was the tech they sent out; he was knowledgeable as well as professional. My house is very old so we got to share a laugh about how old the fuse box was, and he told me he could provide me with an estimate to have that updated as well; which he promptly emailed to me the following day.

He testes the outlet, and opened the panel and quickly diagnosed the problem. He got my 220 outlet quickly reconnected, and was very fair on the price.

He didn't even make fun of how dumb I was for not knowing that it was two wires that could have easily been reconnected if I had taken the panel off and wasn't afraid of being electrocuted based on my obvious ignorance.

My experience with them was contract worthy and I will be working with them in the future for all my electrical needs.

Kyle never returned my call. I called back twice between 8a - 4:30p and was told both times that he was in a meeting and would return my call.. That never happened.

We called RC Electric and had Ryan come out to give us a quote on running a sub-panel and the electrical rough-in for our basement renovation. He showed up on time, answered all my questions, and was knowledgeable. It wasn't until we got the itemized quote that we were upset. Out of 7 different electricians we received quotes from, RC Electric was by far the highest. They wanted to charge us $10,150 for the same job that I just paid $5,500 for. Even the second highest estimate was only $7,500. So why was I being charged so much more you ask? Answer: Marked up parts and almost double labor costs. A simple example was the cost of the 100-Amp sub-panel. RC Electric wanted to charge me $879 just for the sub-panel and that doesn't include the breakers or the cost of running the wire from the main panel to the new sub-panel. The electrician I used only charged $350 for a 100-Amp sub-panel parts and that included the cost of the breakers. As I read further through the rest of the quote, it was the same thing repeated. Price increases on everything. I will never use RC Electric even if they did amazing work. Take some advice from me and always get 5-7 quotes for the same job so you don't get screwed out of your hard earned money.

New home electrical services

Noah was awesome. He is a great communicator. He showed me what his plan was and worked with me to determine where to install the under the cabinet switches before-hand. This was great because it allowed me to consider multiple placement factors. He was very flexible and provided options for to think about what would be best for me and my family.

The custom approach is really appreciated.

For the fans, he showed me the safety options which provides peace of mind that the fan will not fall on me in my sleep!

Additionally, Branch Electric cleaned up the mess that was made from the work. I really like the attention to detail.

I had an issue with my house and the company never got back to me. They also did the electrical for my new construction. Our inspectors told us the electrical work was questionable to wrong and was the only concern they had. They also left forgot outlets that were on the design document which our builder had them correct. I would not recommend not use.
