DAVID Electric Service is amazing! Saturday is the single most busy day for our business... we had an electrical issue that was going to make getting through the day, much less the weekend, very difficult, if not impossible. The DAVID Electric team picked up the phone right away, communicated well through the entire event and was super prompt. Within just a couple of hours they were done with our unscheduled call in service and we were up and running! Great service overall and no surprises. I highly recommend them!

First week of the shutdown my dryer went out.
When I went to get a new one I got an electric dryer but the outlet did not work. I live in a fairly old home and fearing the worst I put off calling an electrician for another week but finally gave in. A competitor told me that in order to just have someone out to take a look at it, it would end up costing me $135, but if I did the work through them it would go towards it as a credit.

Ended up calling Advance Electric, and they said they would send somebody out to do a free estimate, who could do the work on sight if I chose to have them. I feel terrible about this but, for the life of me I cannot remember the name of the woman I spoke with, however she was extremely professional and courteous over the phone.

Djay was the tech they sent out; he was knowledgeable as well as professional. My house is very old so we got to share a laugh about how old the fuse box was, and he told me he could provide me with an estimate to have that updated as well; which he promptly emailed to me the following day.

He testes the outlet, and opened the panel and quickly diagnosed the problem. He got my 220 outlet quickly reconnected, and was very fair on the price.

He didn't even make fun of how dumb I was for not knowing that it was two wires that could have easily been reconnected if I had taken the panel off and wasn't afraid of being electrocuted based on my obvious ignorance.

My experience with them was contract worthy and I will be working with them in the future for all my electrical needs.

We called RC Electric and had Ryan come out to give us a quote on running a sub-panel and the electrical rough-in for our basement renovation. He showed up on time, answered all my questions, and was knowledgeable. It wasn't until we got the itemized quote that we were upset. Out of 7 different electricians we received quotes from, RC Electric was by far the highest. They wanted to charge us $10,150 for the same job that I just paid $5,500 for. Even the second highest estimate was only $7,500. So why was I being charged so much more you ask? Answer: Marked up parts and almost double labor costs. A simple example was the cost of the 100-Amp sub-panel. RC Electric wanted to charge me $879 just for the sub-panel and that doesn't include the breakers or the cost of running the wire from the main panel to the new sub-panel. The electrician I used only charged $350 for a 100-Amp sub-panel parts and that included the cost of the breakers. As I read further through the rest of the quote, it was the same thing repeated. Price increases on everything. I will never use RC Electric even if they did amazing work. Take some advice from me and always get 5-7 quotes for the same job so you don't get screwed out of your hard earned money.

The owner was prompt on returning calls/emails and very pleasant. Pat and Shane did a great job. They arrived early and worked until the job was done. They problem solved and fixed some issues along the way. Excellent service and I'd use them again and recommend this company!

Indianapolis has a great open shop option for your industrial electrical needs. Do you want what the industry is trying to sell you as an industrial electrical contractor or do you want the real thing? If you want the real thing, then you should call.

Return customer and had the company come out to quote me a job, wasted 20 mins of my time and never even bothered to send a quote or follow up.

Not helpful and did not care if received business. Do not cater to people who work and have hard schedules. Just called to get a quote to have some lights replaced. Would not give quote over phone which I understand. Someone has to come out to give quote but would not work with me and my schedule.

I would 100% recommend for your residential electric needs. Recently, I used them for the second time (at different residences) and they came out the same day to provide an estimate and finished the work the next day. Not only was I appreciative of their punctuality, they were very honest and have competitive pricing. They did not try to sell me on other items I needed to get my house back up and running and simply solved all my needs. I found them very helpful when informing me of the situation regarding my breakers with what the problem was and how it needed to be solved. I will definitely reach out to them in the future for all my electric needs.

Upon first calling the company, the gentleman who answered was very nice and understanding and accommodating as he came out the same day to look at and diagnose my mother's unit. I was so relieved after talking to him that I knew I had found the right person. He stated that the compressor was bad and explained all the issues with the heat pump and electrical etc. He checked to see if the part was under warranty and it wasn't. He said he felt bad so he only charged me $75 for the service call instead of $90. He gave me an estimate of $1800 for repair cost. I called him the next day (Friday before Memorial Day Weekend) and this is when he told me that the part would not be available until next week. I said Okay and he would call Tuesday. I called the store to check on ordering the part and they stated that they had the part available. My Uncle used to do HVAC so he checked for me. My uncle is not well enough to repair our unit. I was a little puzzled but I let it go. Tuesday comes no phone call so I call him. He tells me how he is swamped with a job and has to go install a new unit and would not be able to get to be until Wednesday or Thursday. He never called back to tell me so I called him Wednesday afternoon and now he says he is swamped with freezer units and does not know when it will be and I quote Find someone else who can come faster and do it. I explained that they will charge another service call after he already diagnosed it. I almost burst into tears and it took all I had to hold them in. He just did not want to come back to repair the unit for some reason. I will never call them for anything again! He made $75 for 30 minutes worth of nothing.
