I have used their services twice on a fixer upper house. The technician's have been professional and efficient. They also have a great office staff that communicates and follows up after the projects to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Top notch company!

Electrician was very polite and conscientious. We had two outdoor lights, a receptacle and a ceiling fan installed in a pavilion. He did good job of making sure the wiring was neat and asked questions along the way to ensure we got exactly what we wanted.

First week of the shutdown my dryer went out.
When I went to get a new one I got an electric dryer but the outlet did not work. I live in a fairly old home and fearing the worst I put off calling an electrician for another week but finally gave in. A competitor told me that in order to just have someone out to take a look at it, it would end up costing me $135, but if I did the work through them it would go towards it as a credit.

Ended up calling Advance Electric, and they said they would send somebody out to do a free estimate, who could do the work on sight if I chose to have them. I feel terrible about this but, for the life of me I cannot remember the name of the woman I spoke with, however she was extremely professional and courteous over the phone.

Djay was the tech they sent out; he was knowledgeable as well as professional. My house is very old so we got to share a laugh about how old the fuse box was, and he told me he could provide me with an estimate to have that updated as well; which he promptly emailed to me the following day.

He testes the outlet, and opened the panel and quickly diagnosed the problem. He got my 220 outlet quickly reconnected, and was very fair on the price.

He didn't even make fun of how dumb I was for not knowing that it was two wires that could have easily been reconnected if I had taken the panel off and wasn't afraid of being electrocuted based on my obvious ignorance.

My experience with them was contract worthy and I will be working with them in the future for all my electrical needs.

Great guys to work with. Did good work. Knew what they were doing. Showed up when they said they would. Competitive pricing although I might’ve gotten overcharged a bit but not enough to make a deal of it. Will def use them again.

Quite the racket!

This company does not offer estimates or quotes over the phone, and require a technician to come out to provide an estimate. In order to come out, they charge you a $100 service fee, unless you sign up for their “club” at $35 a month.
I found their prices extremely high! $300 to install a ceiling fan that I already had, in a fixture already wired for a fan.
The technician was at my home for less than 5 minutes. He read the “estimate” off a sheet of paper, charged me, and left.
A scheduled appointment, lost time, and $100 to be told what someone could have read me over the phone or on a website.

We were experiencing a disturbing intermittent issue with a 3-way fixture. Having put it off long enough, we called trusted professionals. The Electrifying technician quickly deduced the cause of our problem and made the repair. He was prepared and had everything needed in his truck. As a frugal homeowner, I appreciate a single call without need for parts retrieval.

Indianapolis has a great open shop option for your industrial electrical needs. Do you want what the industry is trying to sell you as an industrial electrical contractor or do you want the real thing? If you want the real thing, then you should call.

I have always found them to be immediately responsive to my needs. Their communication with me has been superb. Recently I experienced an electrical outage at my home. My local power company was unable to diagnose the problem. I contacted RU Electrical Service, Inc at approximately 6:00 pm to schedule emergency service. Mr. Bird answered my telephone call personally and came to my home immediately. He diagnosed the problem quickly and efficiently. He explained the problem to me and then called the power company to advise them. In spite of further service needed by the power company, he continued to work diligently to restore power to my home. Obviously, I was completely satisfied with the emergency electrical service and quick response time provided by Mr. Bird. Based on my experience dealing with them while my house was being built by Arbor, I could not recommend them in good faith. The amount of errors and rework that was needed on jobs they did as well as the general sloppiness around the worksight and lack of attention to detail will cause me to look elsewhere for any electrical needs I would need.
