Best Install Estimate in Phoenix AZ

We made an appointment with Keith, to come give an estimate to remove old granite and replace with new quartz kitchen countertops. He was so friendly, helpful, funny and courteous. Keith’s estimate to do the work was much better than all others. Every time I had a question, I would either text or call Keith and he was willing to help right away. We decided to go ahead and choose our quartz slabs at MSI through Keith. The process was very simple and smooth. We even had enough quartz from our 2 slabs, so decided to add a new counter to a 2nd bath. Javier and two others came to do the demo and install, they worked quickly and efficiently and did a GREAT JOB. We are VERY pleased and HAPPY having our work done by Serrano’s Surfaces. Our countertops look FABULOUS. Thank you Keith and Javier for working with us. We will highly recommend you to all.

This group was beyond amazing! They traveled out of town for our project and were great with communicating up to the start date and throughout the install. Our floor tile looks amazing, they were on time, finished in less time than estimated and just completely professional and beyond expectations! Already receiving compliments on how amazing the flooring turned out! Would highly recommend and cannot say enough great things about them!

Tony, Tom, and their team did an outstanding job with large format travertine tile installation on our back patio. They worked with us to customize a few complicated areas, responded quickly, and were professional throughout. The final product looks fantastic, looking forward to hiring them again in the future.

I spend over $12,000 on cabinets for my kitchen. Included in that price was the assembly and delivery. Assembly was a nightmare. It was done extremely poorly and my contractor had to fix alot of it. The sides were tightened incorrectly which caused some sides to warp, some of the braces weren't even installed or they were installed but missing screws.
When it was delivered one of the cabinets only had the doors but the actual cabinet was missing, the pull out was missing for a cabinet, and all the wrong handles were delivered.
It took me weeks bugging them non stop to finally get help replacing the missing items. When I actually got them I had to pay my contractor to assemble because they did not assemble them.
I would never use this company again!!!

Horrible and dishonest

Cabinets by Design was exactly who they said they were, a full service design and installation custom company. When we first met Chris, we knew that we were in the right place. He met all our expectations from layout to completion. He was hands on with the installers and even made his own punch list before I had a chance. He coordinated all the trades. His installers were polite and professional. Real craftsmen. The same crew started and completed the install. I would highly recommend Cabinets by Design.

I have worked with FHR on 2 remodel jobs so far and I would highly recommend them. Their subcontractors have been timely and courteous. Their work has been excellent and exceeded my expectations. Most importantly, anytime a problem arose they handled it quickly and without much additional cost. They go above and beyond to make sure the clients are happy. It has been a pleasure to work with them!

I have worked with several Custom Builders in the past and I have found 4 Gen Homes to be among the very best! David brings so much relevant and expert experience to each project and it shows in the finished work of art. His proven process of helping his clients go from concept drawings to “Welcome to your new home!” is the best I have ever seen. It makes building a custom home an enjoyable experience. He also treats each of his clients like family and I really appreciate that. I highly recommend David and his team!

I contacted Red Ram about some major exterior remodeling work I'm having done. It includes building a large attached patio cover, re-siding my house, and installing a new roof.

Daniel came out and we discussed options. He mentioned some alternative siding options I hadn't considered. I appreciated this because I believe the contractor is the materials expert, can make good recommendations, and it's important to me to find someone experienced in using/installing the products I ultimately decide to go with. He said it would take a week or so to get me an estimate for the work and some estimates for the different siding options so I can make an informed cost/value determination on which product to go with.

It's been 3 weeks now and I haven't heard anything from Daniel or Red Ram. I tried calling to follow up but there was no answer and no call-back response to my voicemail. I understand this ultimately means he probably doesn't want my business but ghosting is inherently rude and ultimately unprofessional. A simple message saying this isn't a project we want to take on would be sufficient. This seems to be a common issue in the contracting world. To each her/his own, but based on my experience, I feel this company lacks integrity.

My wife and I hired Rick to do a major renovation of our home (all bathrooms, garage, kitchen, laundry room, floors, etc.) in February of 2022. Our initial meetings with Rick in January 2022 were great. He was very responsive, friendly, and communicative. That was until we signed a contract with him and paid a $4000 permit retainer. As soon as we paid Rick the communication and proactiveness disappeared. To summarize the details below, it was a nightmare of 8 months just to get a permit approved by the city.
We were told he would have the initial plans ready for us within 2 weeks. It took over 6 weeks and multiple follow-ups just to get him to provide a draft of the remodel design which had numerous mistakes. The following day we sent an email with a list of all the mistakes that needed to be fixed including measurement corrections that I had to take myself.
3 weeks later and no word from Rick, I follow up to check and he indicates that he will be submitting the plans end of the week (April 12th). After many more follow-ups and involving the Refresh Renovations corporate we finally get him to submit the plans to the city on May 13th, 3+ months from signing the contract. Note, the contract indicated that the project would start in mid-April.
The plans that were submitted were riddled with issues and required THREE rounds of corrections! We finally got the permit approved at the beginning of October. Rick provided excuse after excuse throughout the whole process. I have worked with dozens of contractors in the past and Rick and Refresh Renovations were BY FAR THE WORST!
We canceled the build contract and have found much better professionals to complete the elements of the renovation.
