Usually I do not write reviews but I chose to write one for this company even though I did not use their service. I was in need for 5T heat pump replacement. I called numerous vendors in valley for best price. Out of all vendors I had one of the best quote from Frank. Frank was very professional and provided me with many options with different price bases. His quotes were very good. I just could not use them as our schedule had a little conflict and Franks was very flexible to make it work for me but I did not have much flexibility on my end. I would recommend this company based on Frank's honesty and professionalism.

My experience with Benefit air started several years ago. My old A/C went out in July/August. I was referred to Benefit Air.
The initial visit was smooth and appreciated. The technician was informative and talked about the various options. He was able to fix the A/C and take an amount off the cost of installation to secure them the installation, instead of price shopping other companies. The new A/C worked for the remainder of the summer.
Issue #1
The next winter, the heater took a long time to heat the house, I called and was brushed aside on the phone, saying that heat pumps take awhile to heat in the winter. I assumed they knew what they were talking about and had a cold house for the remainder of the winter. Fast forward to the summer, the A/C was taking a long time to cool the house. I believe it took two visits for them to finally fix the issue of a leak that was causing the issue.
Issue #2
The unit worked fine for the next summer, and then I started to have issues with it not cooling in the winter. I had a technician come out and diagnose the issue as a faulty defrost control board. They were going to charge 114 for a warranty processing fee for a piece that was just over 2 yrs old. The installation charge was going to be 350 for swapping it out. (20 minutes of work) After getting a second opinion... The problem ended up just being a loose C-wire connection from their installation.....

They were friendly, so I won't give them a 1 star review. But, I would hope for a more competent diagnostic effort for expensive A/C work.

Great person to work with fair priced

We called Scott's because our daughter's bathtub faucet broke. I tried to fix it myself (which I have done in the past in other bathrooms) but there was a problem with how the builder installed the piece and it was too difficult for me to remove. I called out Scott's, who responded very quickly. A special tool was needed which he did not have, so he ordered the tool and came back over a couple days later for a fast, professional install and fix. Thank you so much for being so quick and courteous. Will use again when necessary. Would recommend.

Turns out we did use them again when our water heater broke and started leaking. Scott's was prompt and friendly. A new water heater was ordered and promptly installed, and for SEVERAL HUNDRED dollars less than a couple of the big guys quoted us a few months earlier when we were looking for a preemptive replacement. Scott's even included some parts that the other guys wanted to charge a la carte for. Thank you Scott's for being reliable, friendly, and affordable.

Brian was great to work with. Timely, explained the issues, and helped us work through the problem very quickly. We were up and running and confident in the work done.

Bad customer service. Had no issues getting a price over the phone in the past and now I can’t get a price over the phone with my account I have to call and wait for call return from a sales rep who isn’t in today instead…. No thanks I’ll shop around for someone with office personnel who are not afraid or too lazy to bring in more business without the help of a sales representative for commissions. Passed the buck of not my job to look that up and when I said I’ll shop around instead I got a happy okay good response. Someone’s not happy with their job and doesn’t like being busy.

Remington was awesome! Super friendly, knowledgeable, didn’t try to upsell me, every recommendation he made for repairs was the same as another company recommended (but I didn’t have the funds at the time and I lost that company info) overall great experience
