I’ve been so pleased with the service calls I’ve made. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been so responsive, respectful, and professional. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been especially cautious about our interactions with others but the service staff have come masked, maintained distance, and worn shoe coverings in and out of the house. In addition, they explained the issues, provided helpful instruction about maintaining our system, and even hooked up an option we didn’t know we had on our unit! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. When it was time to pay, we felt the cost was incredibly fair. Should we need future repairs, this will be our first call!

B3 was sent out as the first contractor on an AC home warranty claim. They thoroughly assessed the issue and notified us that we most likely had a Freon leak, but would need to come back the next day to do some tests. Tim came out the second day and gave it to me straight. We had a leak in the coil and the costs of repair would be substantial considering the age and type of unit we had. The home warranty tried to delay everything and made our experience a nightmare, but Tim was in constant contact with me the entire time. After deciding to take a payout from the home warranty to buy a new unit, B3 was the easy choice. We were able to get a great deal on a new 16 seer 3.5 ton Train unit and the install took just over 4 hours. So far everything has worked perfectly and the home cools exponentially faster compared to the old unit. Couldn’t be happier with our decision. Tim is the guy you want to speak to and will make you confident in your buying choice.

The company seems to offer HVAC repairs which is essential in maintaining an efficient heating and cooling system in your home or office. It's great to know that there are companies like Cooling Men who offer professional repair services to keep your HVAC unit functioning properly, and I hope their customers are satisfied with their services.

My AC went out and they had an Emergency Tech out and my AC was fixed in just under 2 hours from when I called. Very friendly and honest.

SMW is a first class professional outfit. They told us what they were going to do, put it in writing, and followed through on all phases of the job in great detail. Of the five contractors we had bid our job they were in 2nd place price-wise but in first place overall. The few hundred dollars extra we paid were well worth it. They are great communicators, from the owner of the company, who actually visited our site, through the install manager and on-site install techs who completed the job. Their paperwork was on spot, carefully documenting all verbal communications that had occurred in the field. The two installation technicians (Wayne and Joseph) did a superb job and they stayed calm and professional even when the city, who was installing new water and sewer lines in our street at the same time, was threatening to block the crane from getting to our house. Wayne and Joseph negotiated with the city's job supervisor to create a time and location slot through the city job site for the crane. I would highly recommend SMW to anyone in the market for a new HVAC. They were extremely competitive on the price, but you knew they were not low-balling you just to get the job. They answered all our questions and backed up their positions with facts which you could verify on the internet.

Great staff! Had an old, inefficient AC unit that was breaking down on a regular basis. Jeremy explained, in detail, all of my options for replacing the unit. Installation was clean and fast. The new unit is far exceeding my expectations. The house feels much cooler than it ever did with the old unit, set at the same Temp. Prestige did an awesome job!

Update: Changed from 1 star to 3. The original rep, John, came back out and did the repairs at no cost to me after finding out how the office handled my situation, which I appreciated, but still don't plan to use the company again.

Original post: Rep John came out and provided a quote for a few things including air conditioner repair. He was on time, very friendly and professional. I accepted the air conditioner quote and he told me someone would be in contact with me that afternoon (Fri June 25). Didn't hear from anyone by Mon June 28, so I called. They told me that someone should be out to me Tuesday or Wednesday. By Wednesday afternoon, I hadn't seen anyone, so I called to check. That rep said she had no record of the Tues/Wed promise or even that I called on Monday, and that someone would be out by July 5. That was not acceptable for two reasons: it isn't what I was promised and I will have family in town all weekend, so I don't want to sit around waiting for arrival and repairs. Due to this, she said she would put a note in to have someone out ASAP. It's Friday, July 2. Nobody has arrived. I called again. I was told that I was scheduled for July 5, that nobody would be out before then, and that she wasn't even sure why they had me on the schedule because they aren't accepting new customers. I get that everywhere is busy right now, but this place needs to get it together. Awful first experience and customer service in general. I cancelled my a/c order and won't contact them for anything else.
