2nd undate: correct diagnosis of my system as capacitor did indeed quit so wanted to give them credit, update: they reached out to be right away and said would refund my check up amount since I was understanding it was maintenance, very much appreciated ...well I called to get summer maintenance and I wanted it cleaned if asked for maintenance but instead just did check up...so am on budget and thot $65 was cleaning it so I said so cried after they left...the guy was nice enough, do not blame him, but the phone man is who I blame for not making it clear...

I had a 19 year old Carrier still running strong but I was worried it would break down on a weekend and would be stuck without AC for me and my two Boston Terriers and my two black cats So I was driving down the 202 listening to KTAR radio when I heard Howard Air's advertisement. What I heard intrigued me, so I called them and I am normally not a trusting person and from the moment I spoke with the lady that answered the phone I felt like I had found my new AC company. She was so sweet and helpful. She connected me with their scheduling lady and once again I was impressed. It gets even better from here. She made an appointment with me to have Jason M. come out on July 1st, Jason was so enjoyable and made my whole buying experience a happy one. He explained everything and then showed me the different units I had to choose from. I wanted to stay with Carrier as I have had Carriers for many years with excellent success. After Jason's visit we set my installation for July 29, 2016. The two men called me 45 minutes out and told me when they would arrive. They were Johnny on the spot! At about 6:30 AM this morning they began the hot job of climbing up in the attic and tending to the things that needed rerouting etc.. My installers were Kyle B. and Terrance K. These two men were awesome! They got my unit in and were even a bit ahead of the time I expected to have it completed. They went above and beyond being careful to make sure neither of my dogs or cats escaped out the door. Then I had to go to see and tend to my horse so the guys stayed here and worked. On my way home I had to pick up a heavy box at Lowes and I am 73 and this package was so heavy there was no way I could dream of getting it out of my truck and into my house. Bless their little hearts they brought it in for me.
They spent a lot of time explaining the thermometer to me and showing me how to set it and so on. And when they got ready to leave they had every single piece of anything picked up. This company is excellent and I am thrilled to have found them. I feel like I matter to them. You won't be sorry hiring Howard Air as they are professionals from the first person you speak with on the phone and all the way to the installers. Thank you Howard Air!!!

We would have given a higher rating for actual work. Frustrated that when office called to find out how much because our son was going to provide check, we were told $258. Then when tech came, he said that amount only covers one- either AC or Heat. I'm glad we ended up being home so we could say we just want one done because check already written.

I subscribe to the maintenance program. Larson does a great job reminding me when I need to schedule. Today Sam came out to do the maintenance check. He was excellent, very thorough and explained everything!

Andrews has a poor service and accounting practices. We frequently have had to replace low quality parts they have brought in and consistently have problems with their accounting department. After speaking with the VP of the company nothing has changed. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for service.

These guys are the best! Our a/c went out on a weekend and they showed up within a few hours to diagnose the problem. Thankfully it was still under warranty.

Unfortunately the manufacturer gave us the run around on replacement parts (apparently they no longer support our unit, even though it’s only 3 years old). Meanwhile our house was 118 degrees inside!!!

Rather than continue to wait on the manufacturer Junior and Jerry found a complete unit and swapped mine out.

I am grateful to know their are good people still in the world! Thank you for getting us back into our home!
