Do not get a service plan! We have one and you are not a priority when it comes time for them to come service your A/C. People calling in with problems bump your appointment time until it's too late and they ask you to reschedule. I waited 9 hours for them today and like clockwork, got the text saying that it was late and asking is there another day we could reschedule for. It sounds like business 101 to me but if you are so busy during the summer months that you can't service all your scheduled appointments, you need more staff. REVISED: I am highly disappointed in the owners response to my review. They've completely missed the point! To try to shift focus from their complete disregard for my appointment over to, this customers appointment wasn't as important as whatever emergencies that we blew him off for anyway is shameful! Additionally, I would not have even agreed to wait around all day on my next day off for the technician if I hadn't had concerns with my HVAC unit. They want to make it sound like it all worked out in my favor. Ridiculous! The owners response missed the mark by miles. It should have simply said, our apologies for your inconvenience. They have still never even reached out after our repairs the tech did to to see if we were satisfied now, they only responded to my review to try to shift focus and downplay their horrible customer service.

Tim was super friendly and very professional. He fully explained what he was checking and what should be taken care of in the future. The cost of the service was actually less than I had anticipated. I'll definitely call 1st Choice Mechanical in the future. Thanks Tim and kudos guys!

I bought a new thermostat and all I needed was a common wire connected from my thermostat to my air handler. The wires were already in the wall, just needed to be connected in the air handler. I already knew this and told them over the phone. They charged me an $88 diagnostic fee and then $65 just to splice the wire together and connect to the unit. The actual work probably took him 15 mins to do. The tech, Dave, was really nice and did a great job. It's not his fault they charged so much. I asked how much it'd be to install my new ecobee3 thermostat, and he looked it up. Another $180!! Are you kidding me?! I told him I'd just do it myself and I installed it within about 7 mins, before he was even finished cleaning up. It was so easy. $180?! That's a rip off! But the 5 star review is on the tech Dave who did an outstanding job.

Repair and maintenance folks don't always have good news for you about the health of your HVAC, plumbing etc. But you can count on Parker and Sons to give it to you straight, honestly and with good value. They're always willing to work with us so things work out! Honest business here. Call them with confidence!

Second time I called them, my AC unit wasn’t working and they immediately came out- after 5pm on a Saturday. All fixed and no up- charges. Walter was great! April 2023.
This was the first time I used Howard Air, as finding a reputable business can be difficult. I’m so glad I went with them, they are professional, explained the checkup on my unit, and the tech. didn’t rip me off by installing parts that weren’t necessary . I highly recommend Howard Air and will continue to use them.

UPDATE for 11.14.22 - HVAC inspection by Erik Martinez. Erik was prompt, professional, and easy to talk to. He did a thorough check of our heater so we know it will run well all winter. Thanks Erik!

Tommy and his crew are just fantastic! My old landlord had Tommy upgrade an electrical panel in the house I was renting so when I bought a house and needed a panel upgrade, I knew I had to call Tommy to get the job done right. He was great with communicating and answered all of my questions. His tech Eddie installed my new panel, a whole home surge protector and added an outdoor outlet so I can plug in Christmas lights and completed everything I asked for. They stuck to my quote which I appreciated and did everything in a very timely manner. My biggest thing was just how great at communicating Tommy was. He always was there to answer my questions and you can tell he really cares about his customers. I’m a repeat customer and will definitely go back to him for anything else I need done.
