I love Proskill! My parents referred me in 2018 and I’ve used them since. I have a water filtration system that also remineralizes the water so you’re not missing out on key minerals for your body. It only needs filters replaced once a year and saves tons of time, money, and plastic (especially in AZ). Kane Clark just came today. Not only was he sweet and professional but he was on time, knowledgeable about the product and business, and even checked on my water heater and pressure. I may have to replace my air conditioning unit soon so I will probably reach out to them first. Really appreciate all you do ??

My unit went out on the coldest week of the year. Despite it being a busy time, Eric responded to my calls quickly and was able to get out to inspect my unit much faster than I expected. He gave me his honest feedback and was so helpful in explaining the problem. You can tell Eric enjoys his job and knows what he's doing.
I've used all the big names in the valley, but never again. Thomas Home Comfort is the only way to go!

Great place to work

Excellent service! Two other companies had tried to address a problem, and one had improperly installed a motor. Nick worked with the warranty and took pictures to show me the difference of what he had installed versus what he replaced. He was polite and efficient all the way through. My highest recommendation!

I used Larson last summer to replace an old unit at my house in Scottsdale, and while I found them to be just a bit pricey, I was very happy with the service. So, when I needed work on another unit (I have 3 units for my house), I called them again. This time, I am not quite as happy. Making the appointment was very easy, as before, and the technician called ahead of time when he was on his away, and arrived on time, which was great. However, he seemed a bit junior, and apparently has only been working for Larson for about a week. He first diagnosed that the unit was low on refrigerant, which was causing the unit to shut off automatically. However, after he added more refrigerant, the unit was still not working. Then, he diagnosed that it needed a new board. However (to his credit), he called his supervisor to be sure, and then after following his supervisor's suggestion, he did more checking, and changed his diagnosis to a faulty valve. I was not billed for the refrigerant re-charging, which was great. He came back a few days later, arrived again as scheduled, and replaced the valve, and all is good now. Besides the multiple iterations to get the diagnosis correct - which is ok, I'm glad he finally got it correct, no harm - my main issue is with the cost.First, the charge for the R-22 refrigerant was $99 per pound, whereas a quick Google search shows that the wholesale price is more like $10-$12 per pound, which means a mark-up of at least 700%, and a profit of over $700 just on the refrigerant for my unit. This is more of a complaint with the industry in general; apparently all A/C companies mark up at least this amount, if not more; I'm sure that the $99 per pound price is less than many of Larson's competitors in the area, but it is still outrageous. (I've actually been told by a previous A/C repair man yes we charge a lot, but not as much as everyone else. Not a great message.) I understand that in the service/repair business, companies generally apply a mark-up for parts/materials they purchase for a job, but I don't know of any other industry that applies a mark-up nearly this much. (I am a pricing expert, I have spent almost 20 years doing consulting and working for pricing software companies, so I have a lot of experience in this area.)Second, the charge for the replacement valve was $878, while another quick Google search yields a cost less than $200. Once again, a very large mark-up.Even if the refrigerant and valve charges include the labor, this still seems like quite a lot. Overall the total bill was $1800, for maybe $300 in materials cost, so that leaves $1500 to cover labor (approx 5 hours at most I believe; I wasn't home for the 2nd visit) and profit. Just a bit much, in my opinion.Overall, the service was great. Especially compared to other companies in my area that I have used in the past - I have horror stories - Larson seems to be more reputable, and overall I would recommend.

TERRIBLE!!! Charged me $345 for 15 minutes of work... DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. ROBBERY!!!! Tested a gas line for the pool... 15 minutes...

The office manager was really great and coordinated my appointment perfectly and exactly when I needed it. The technician was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. If I could give them 10 stars, I definitely would!

Brian is the most helpful person I’ve ever met. I reached out to him back in September about some issues I was having with my A/C unit and he followed along with me for months while trying to figure out what my options were and explaining them to me. We ended up going with a new unit, Brian and his team were absolutely phenomenal. Brian stood by my side every step of the way and made getting a whole new unit for my home very easy and not stressful at all. I would recommend him to absolutely everyone.

Joshua did a fantastic job, had Arizona Valley come to do a tuneup on my 15 year old unit. He was very through, and washed my outdoor coil. Will definitely use them again

This all started in Jan when heat went out. Took several techs and warranty company saying its velox and couldn't a hold of them to finally getting a new unit in march. Here we are in June the thermostat is set at 77 house is climbing to 82 . Called 2x to request service and no call back at all had to call another hvac co . Who immediately called back and is coming in the morning oh and our system under warranty still. But can't get velox to call back . Customer service is horrible. I thought was warranty company . Now I wonder if it was velox . And the new hvac system is too small for our home! New contactor came out his exact words this is a 3 ton you should have a 5 ton for this region and excessive heat and the size of your home warta that this will cause catastrophic damage to the system I have it in writing .Now in order for it to keep cool we have to water down coils on new system! My question is why knowing our home is over 2000 sq. Ft why was a 3 ton put in when at min should've been 5 ton. Initially I was happy to have the new system and trusted the techs that put it in. Now here we are with a system too small for our home! And still no call back from velox! So I guess filing complaint with contractor board is going to be our next step and the bbb . I also have a full report from a reputable hvac company who came out and took 1 look and immediately knew system was too small.
