Pathetic service ever, they don’t show up on the appointments days (multiple times). The work is pending for months, have been calling them since months to fix the HVAC system and now the heater(yes does not even work and its already freezing in the morning hours), they just don’t show up. They have their service contract with Lennox HVAC, which even sucks further!

Brand new unit I just moved into my home it's a new build, with my family I have a 2 week old son and they refused to come out and fix my unit that is most definitely under warranty. Best they could do was Monday that would leaving me with almost 3 days of no ac during summer heat with a new born. They wanted to charge me to send someone as soon as they could wasn't even guaranteed for same day. I hope anyone using this company doesn't have an issue on a weekend.
Also just found out the property superintendent had this repaired a week ago for the same issue. The current guy here from Chas Robert's said all the refrigerant leaked out do to poor soldering.
Amazing company! Highly recommend. The service manager Cheyenne was extremely professional and made my experience absolutely wonderful. No one ever hopes to need an AC company do repairs but when you do you'll be happy with the level of care you'll receive from Velox Air. Professional and friendly staff who truly care about making your system work properly. Will use them in the future no questions asked!

Called them 5 days ago because my home warrenty company said they would do the work. Air conditioner is out in 100 degree weather. Lady was nice and said techs would call me to schedule. Wait what? No company works like that. They schedule ahead of time not just whenever they have time. Still no call so I just paid out of my own pocket to have it fixed. Joke of a company.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. I was forced to use them by my home warranty company. It is well over 100 degrees and 95 degrees in my house. Their 1st available appointment was 3 days out, we scheduled it for the morning, called to get an ETA around 10:00 and was told at some point in the day! The technician showed up after 2. As soon as I answer the door he stated he was there to diagnose not to fix and claimed that was the way it works with home warranties. I've been with the same warranty company for years and it's never been that way. I called Velox Air office and was told the technician could fix it if he has the part, I passed this info on to the technician and he was adamant that he was only there to diagnose it, that's what he's been doing all day and he has other appointments! He left and Velox air didn't answer my calls. It's a Friday night, holiday weekend, and my air has been out since Tuesday. There is also an extreme heat warning until Monday. If you are looking to get your AC fixed or acceptable customer service, I wouldn't suggest this company!
Excellent experience with this vender. Normally my home warranty company sends a vendor who makes me call in a separate $65 service call for every broken part. Velox diagnosed everything within the first 15 minutes on one service call and ordered the parts. Best experience I've had with anyone my home warranty company has sent in the past year.
Our heater quit working in February 2021. Our home warranty company sent Velox to repair it. There was a snafu in ordering the blower motor and Velox and the home warranty company fought for months over who should order and pay for the part, all the while they and the home warranty company we're telling us the part was unavailable due to covid shutdowns. Meanwhile we were without heat and then A/C. May came around and it started getting hot and still no repair. At this point Velox had quit returning our calls. When it hit 90 degrees in our house one afternoon I finally called a local contractor who came out the same afternoon and by the end of the day had ordered our part from their supplier, also local. Within a week our heat and A/C were working. Now Velox keeps sending my wife texts saying we owe them $150 for a service call in February, a call we paid $75 for per our home warranty contract. We cannot get in touch with Velox to get this straightened out. They won't return our texts, emails or phone calls and every time we call, regardless of the time of day, their answering service picks up.

Velox Air was sent out from my warranty company and after reading some of the reviews I figured right away probably nothing to worry about and that I would have to keep my thumb on the warranty Co....I was absolutely correct. The warranty company took a week to get it's act together then ordered parts to send over to Velox Air. Within one day of receiving the parts we scheduled for next day install and things went quickly and smoothly. Everyone was polite professional and courteous. Thanks for the great service!

My gas furnace was not turning on, so I reported it to my home warranty company. Velox Air was sent out 3 times to address the issue. They cleaned a deposit off the fuel line on the first visit, changed the setting on a gauge the second time and cleaned the filter the third time. On the third visit, the technician told me that he thought the thermostat was the issue because he was seeing an issue both with the unit turning on and off. He told me that he would request that the thermostat be replaced with my home warranty company. I waited about a week and did not hear back, so I called my home warranty company. They said that Velox had closed the request instead of requesting the thermostat replacement, the warranty company called and spoke to a representative at Velox, who spoke to the technician, who said that he HAD asked for the thermostat to be replaced. Long story, short, the home warranty company approved the thermostat being replaced, but management at Velox has refused to replace it and insists that the furnace (that they never tested) is working fine. I have been dealing with a broken furnace since mid March and still have a broken furnace. Luckily it has gotten warm, so I do not currently need the furnace, but will request another vendor in the fall when I turn it on again. Velox is the worst vendor I have dealt with and I would recommend using someone else for your heating and cooling needs

Ricky a service technician came out and was very respectful and professional; he guided me through my doubts and service my units timely. Thanks for the great service. After a long day of playing 36 holes(and knocking back some cocktails) in the desert sun i arrived home to my surprise and the AC was OUT! i went into panic since it was 4:30pm and around 110f, called a couple of other companies which will remain nameless in this review and could not have someone come out ASAP, all appointments backed up till the next business day AT BEST. Came across Velox Air website, called them up, got on the horn with Sarah who was absolutely amazing! Not only was she knowledgeable & professional, she sent a technician over in less the 1 hour. I was about to reserve a room at the Four Seasons to get out of the house but it was not necessary! we had the AC fixed in less than 1 hour after the technician and his team arrived. I would DEFINITELY recommend this company from Cheyenne who called me during the repair to let me know the status of the work to Ralf the technician(wore booties and a face-mask before entering my home and this was BEFORE the COVID-19 pandemic) anyone looking to repair their AC. Extremely timely, honest, professional, CLEAN & polite...Even got a call a couple of days later from Sarah to check if all was to my satisfaction, highly recommend 100%

My AC went out a couple weeks ago. A friend had recommended me to Velox Air. They had a technician come out the day after I called to diagnose my unit. The office staff was very helpful answering all my questions in a professional and respectful way. I am very pleased with the work Velox has done for me! They are my new go to company for any HVAC problems! I highly recommend Velox Air! They actually care for their customers!

I wish I didn't have to give 1 star for this company. DO NOT USE this company for any of your needs. My warranty company contracted with them due to my air conditioning unit going out. I received a phone call the morning of the appointment by the office manager and asked for an ETA because its 104 degrees today in AZ and really need someone to come out, and was told that they're hours are between 8am-5pm due to the technician being able to service each request. That should've been a red flag that they only have 1 tech. She took my credit card info to secure the appointment and I told her I would call back within an hour if I find another company to come out sooner. at 230pm I called Velox and the office manager put me on hold, then came back and said they received a comment from my warranty company to cancel since they couldn't come sooner. I called my warranty company and they confirmed that Velox had indeed cancelled this request 20 minutes before calling them. The office manager not once apologized to me. I literally have an email sent from Sarah the owner with Cheyenne's the office manager's info where it is stamped that they cancelled my request. If a company doesn't care about their customers, I don't trust them to fix anything when it comes to my home. I will NEVER endorse, refer or utilize this company in the future.
We were extremely stressed with just buying a home and the AC unit wasn't working our first summer here. Velox was unbelievable! They were out that same day when other companies were over a week out and they also gave us a military discount which was greatly appreciated. They had our unit replaced in less than 24 hours and boy am I glad because it was 112 that week. They called just to check in and make sure we were still doing good. This is a family owned and operated company and I'll continue to give them my business for years to come.
Velox Air saved the day! My AC went out in the middle of the night in this record breaking heat and the owner Michael sent out a technician to me the next day even with their schedule fully booked. The service technician Manny went above and beyond in not only getting the problem fixed fast but also explaining to me what was wrong. He also gave me future steps to take to keep my system running at it's best. Velox Air is an honest and reputable company with great pricing. I would highly recommend this company for all your HVAC needs.

This all started in Jan when heat went out. Took several techs and warranty company saying its velox and couldn't a hold of them to finally getting a new unit in march. Here we are in June the thermostat is set at 77 house is climbing to 82 . Called 2x to request service and no call back at all had to call another hvac co . Who immediately called back and is coming in the morning oh and our system under warranty still. But can't get velox to call back . Customer service is horrible. I thought was warranty company . Now I wonder if it was velox . And the new hvac system is too small for our home! New contactor came out his exact words this is a 3 ton you should have a 5 ton for this region and excessive heat and the size of your home warta that this will cause catastrophic damage to the system I have it in writing .Now in order for it to keep cool we have to water down coils on new system! My question is why knowing our home is over 2000 sq. Ft why was a 3 ton put in when at min should've been 5 ton. Initially I was happy to have the new system and trusted the techs that put it in. Now here we are with a system too small for our home! And still no call back from velox! So I guess filing complaint with contractor board is going to be our next step and the bbb . I also have a full report from a reputable hvac company who came out and took 1 look and immediately knew system was too small.
I don't typically write reviews, but after my experience with Velox I had to! Everything was great from start to finish. The administrative staff were friendly and patient and helped walk me through all of my questions. The tech that came out to help was professional and thourough. They got everything back up and running quickly, and again, answered any follow up questions I had. I would definitely recommend them to anyone out looking for an AC company! At first I had a positive experience with this company getting our new systems installed back in May, but then I found out several months later they wired our heating element wrong and couldn't get ahold of anyone on their team to come fix it. I ended up hiring another company to fix the problem. Then I was in communication with the owner of Velox Air about the issue asking for a refund for the poor work her guys did back in May and she said she would cut me a check a month ago but I haven't heard from her since with several followups sent. The owner gave me the run around blaming the equipment and and questioning the operator use even and several other things after I told her what my new technician found...120 volts wired into a 24 volt section of the computer board. Sarah and Velox Air team, I'll change this back to a positive post for you when you refund me the money you promised. No hard feelings. Please do what is right.

This company has not returned our calls my insurance company is replacing thd unit improperly installed and we will file a complaint with the registrar's of contractor's
Very unethical. A worker of theirs came to work on my AC through my home warranty company. Paid the worker $75 cash and he didn't reported it to the home warranty! I called them and the warranty agents tried calling then and emailing with NO REPLY! So I will go ahead and pay another 75 to my warranty but it will cost Volox this review.
The gentleman that came out was not only professional but extremely knowledgeable as well. However they stopped responding after a couple of days. They knew our home had no AC. They refused our calls for 3 months then told us they had no business with us. 2 months later they have now started calling us THREATENING US, and cussing out my 11 year old for answering the phone!! They are demanding money from us for no services rendered and have sent me emails stating that they will be sending someone out to collect the money. I have reached out to their management to speak with someone but they are refusing to return calls now like the cowards they are.

It was our second AC service, but our HVAC is 20 years old. Ralf, our tech this visit was awesome, we discussed the most recent visit and Ralf went to work. He quickly diagnosed the problem, a outside compressor fan, and replaced the capacitor too. He took the time to check the attic components, made sure the old system was 'charged' and pressures were to specs. He stuck around to make sure the AC was cooling and to ask if we needed anything else. EasyPeezy!! 94 degrees today, thanks Velox Air!

I used them through home warranty. They came once and never came back. They did not return my calls or home warranty calls. My home warranty had to end up sending another company to my house. I would not recommend them to anyone. I also told my home warranty they should not command in this company to anybody else.
Dealt with Cheyenne, super patient answering my questions and was very knowledgeable! Work was done promptly and they showed up on time. Quality of the work was above par and after they left it's like they weren't here. Space was clean, and no damage just nice cold AC!. 10 of 10 would recommend.
New built AC units installed by this company. Never hire them, installed duct work and system never worked correctly at all, in addition horrible service.
While AC tech that came in was awesome trying to fix original installers poor job, company manager and owners do not care and have no pride in what company delivers
