This is less of a review, and more of a character referral. I'm an HVAC tech, I used to work with Aleks years ago before he started South Mountain Air. I don't live in AZ anymore, but when friends and family ask who to call, I still refer them to Aleks, simply because I know he's an honest guy that cares to do the job right. I don't get anything for these referrals, I actually haven't spoken to Aleks in years. But I knew him well enough then that I still trust him to this day.

You may not always get great news when it comes to repairs needed for your A/C, but if the news comes from Aleks, you can trust that it's the truth.

I am very gratified to have this company today to address my HVAC air conditioning repair needs. I was able to get a technician the same day and charged me affordably with the service done. I appreciated his honesty throughout. He called when he was on his way and arrived on time. Thank you very much! Highly recommended to others.

We had a tricky issue with water leaking from our air conditioning due to it being installed by a subpar company that was not Scottsdale Air. The technicians that came to due the repairs were on time, friendly and knowledgable. Explained exactly what they were doing and why. Pricing also seemed fair based on work completed. I plan to use again for tune ups in the future.

My AC problem was quickly identified. Before calling Phoenix AC and Heating Experts, I called my home warranty company, and they sent someone who couldn't find the problem. I sought a second opinion from Phoenix AC and Heating Experts, and they quickly identified and corrected the problem. I'm glad I called them because they went above and beyond my expectations. Been using HVAC Recycle for several months. Friendly office staff and drivers. Guys do a great job of cleaning up the area so no debris left for homeowner. Easy scheduling, always been prompt and a pleasure to do business with. Highly recommend their services.

They have leads and formans that are not qualified for the job there just glorified baby sitters

Our A/C went out the day we were going on vacation. I called ICON and they sent someone out to see what the problem was. I was afraid that when we got back a week later we would be miserable. I noticed on my cameras that one of the technicians (Jose) was there installing a new motor. What a relief it was to know that when we got back we would have a/c. At no time did Jose need to enter the house, very professional! Jose left me a note explaining all that was done. Thanks to Jose and Team ICON we have a/c and it is working great!!!!

The capacitor went out sometime during the evening around 830 pm I called around looking for anyone that could service my unit. Either no answer or I got the we'll see you when we see you or how about 10-2 or 10-5 tomorrow Ryan from semper fi called me back within 10 minutes from an actual tech not another dispatch on top of the original dispatch that most companies have Ryan was over and repaired my unit within 40 minutes; 20 to get to my home and 20 to to inspect my unit swap out the capacitor and after I signed up for their maintenance plan. 100% satisfied customer. Ryan was awesome, friendly, professional and empathetic. I felt that I was being taken care of by an expert.
