He was very nice and even hauled the old toilet away. Then he gave us a written invoice without us having to ask for it. Really down to earth. I highly recommend them!

I had a problem with my sprinkler system, and I contacted Larchmont Emergency Plumber's to fix it. The plumbers arrived promptly and were able to identify and fix the issue quickly and efficiently. They also provided me with some tips on how to maintain the sprinkler system to prevent future issues. The service was professional, and the price was very reasonable.

I’m an extremely happy customer . A friend of mines brother recommended them as he had a positive experience using this company . I needed a new electricwater heater, we estimated that the one we had was at least 15 to 18 years old and I had pressed the reset button twice BUT I didn't know who to call soI dragged my feet. I'm so glad I got the recommendation as when Robert arrived he was friendly, professional and knew what he was doing . Robert showedus how many issues we had with the said tank confirming it was time to go. Robert was able to install a new tank in no time at all and left the place better than he found it. The price is fair and competitive . I was more than happy to write the check for the work done as we were confident the work was done properly and it was a pleasure dealing with Robert. No fuss, no problem and job done. I don't recommend lightly but I do recommend this company .

During Covid and my mother faced a huge bathroom clog. Mr Speedy came out fully guarded! and fixed the issue at no time. This plumbing repair company is superb. The plumber that I was able to work with was very professional. He made the whole bathtub repair so easy and hassle-free. I enjoyed working with this guy yesterday. I couldn't have asked for a perfect service from him. He satisfied me and treated me so well. Highly recommended!

Richards Rooter and Plumbing has great reviews but my experience was disappointing. First, it was $250 to even come to our apartment building (which would then be applied towards the repair.) Then it was $750 (so an additional $500) to cut open the wall and find the leak, even though I correctly identified where the hot water pipe was leaking based on feeling a warm spot on the wall.

Richard suggested a temporary clamp for another $500 (though he said it’d be free if it didn’t work) and coming back to fix it the next day (it was 2:30pm). I asked if it could just be fixed today and had to leave for an appointment and he set about cutting open more of the wall to see the extent of the corrosion. By the time I came back at 4:30pm, he’d put on the temporary clamp which didn’t fully stop the leak (still requesting $500 for it) and said he could fix it at 9am for $2000 with the clamp $500 going towards it (so $1500 more).

I felt like the charges were really high, especially since water was still leaking into the units below. The way Richard seemed more focused on getting paid than actually fixing the leak made me feel like he was taking advantage of the situation and didn’t seem to care about water dripping into people’s homes.

Later that evening, another resident called their own plumber unbeknownst to me and had him fix the leak that night (for $600). I texted Richard as soon as I learned of this so as not to waste his time and he got a little salty, texting things like “And we have a contract if that means anything to you” even though he only wrote an estimate for the repair.

All in all, Richard was available, communicative, and showed up when called, but he was ineffective, expensive, and then snarky when he didn’t get his way. He couldn’t fix two pinhole leaks (even temporarily) for $1250. He would have charged an additional $1500 to do a job that someone else did for $600. I only hope my experience informs others.

I thought I needed a new hot water heater because of a leak from the drain valve. I talked to them on the phone for 15 minutes and he suggested i just by a screw cap for the drain outlet to see if that would solve the problem. He could have easily sold me a water heater but instead, for $2.50 he solved my problem. He provided a lot of useful information over the phone, which was appreciated. Thanks guys!

They say they are the smell good plumber's however that does not include the truck. It smells of bad exhaust and sewer.

Scheduled replacement of Flush Valve - confirmed cost by phone twice. Arrived after the appointment window, claimed to not have the part, claimed that the entire porcelain tank had to be replaced to replace the flush valve (it doesn't), then tried to sell me a completely new toilet for $550. A flush valve is $17.95 and about 1 hr of labor, max. Nice try scam artists - no one should ever use this business.
