Everything came off as a sales pitch to replace both units. When all I needed was a blower motor and a capacitor.Started by putting down the fact that the unit is a York. Then the age b/c it is 10 years old. Then the fact that we could just keep replacing parts and in the long run cheaper to replace the unit. Then he want on yo point out the second unit is 20 years old and the Freon is running end of life.. it all just seemed like a big scare tactics to spend thousands of dollars which is not what is needed. When I did get a quote to replace the two parts which are needed the price was very high. The labor to replace the motor was 4x cost of the part. The labor to replace the capacitor was more than 10x. Total parts to buy online is less than $300. Technician’s total bill was $1,677.80. There was a small savings if I would agree to sign up for an annual maintenance agreement and fee. No thanks.I paid the $89 diagnosis fee and decided to do it myself.Not sure what has changed with the business model. In the past technicians did not try to take advantage of the customer with such hard sales tactics, scare tactics and huge prices.

They were on time, professional, resolved the problem quickly and cleaned up afterwards. I will use them again for any future plumbing issues.

We have known Lonnie, owner of Plumbers Plumbing, for nearly 5 years. He is the most honest and responsible serviceman we've probably ever met. He was here yesterday at our house on a Saturday repairing a couple of sink problems and fixing a garbage disposal. His charges are always fair. He will be there when he says he will and this includes texting to let you know he's on his way etc. In addition, he is friendly and helpful in explaining the plumbing issue to us so we understand what's being done. If you ever need a plumber, and who doesn't, call Lonnie and you can rest assured that you will be treated like family.
