He was available by phone to answer questions after the original visit for the estimate, and was able to come out and do the work in a timely manner. We were really pleased with the quality of his work as well as the customer service he and the Clearwater staff provided.

Member of the All-Star service club so they called to remind me I had a free system check due. Ricardo Mercado came out and did a fantastic job! We were at the end of his day and our system is just starting its second cooling season but he still took his time and checked everything! We’ve been AirCo customers for 20 years.

We needed service to cap our shower line. We called and was out the same day. There were some unforeseen issues and he truly went above and beyond. He was fantastic!

Technicians were very nice, but either inept or unethical. After 30 min of studying an inop system, they determined the compressor needed replacement, at an estimated cost exceeding $15,000. My second opinion replaced the capacitor for less than $300. I understand many HVAC technicians are paid on commission and have sales quotas. You get what they need and not what you need.

I purchased an entire new unit from Metro Energy in May 2019. Within 2 years the capacitor went bad. I paid for it not realizing it was a part that was under warranty. In Feb 2022 the heat went out. They came and said my unit was dirty and tried to sell me filters and a 3k cleaning system. Two days later the heat went out again. They came back out and repaired it. They performed maintenance on the unit late March 2022, still trying to sell me their filters and cleaning system. Fast forward to this month and the heat goes out again. This time the motor is blown. Their only reasoning each time they have to come out is that my filter is dirty and cause the unit to clog. I change my filters like clockwork every 30 days using the reminder on the thermostat. I googled dirty filters and my filter that has been in the unit for 20 days looks nothing like the filthy filters pictured. Even though the motor was under warranty, I got hit with a labor charge of over $400 for less than an hours work. When I called to speak to someone about the price of labor, I was told I would get a call back from a manager but that has not happened. From the reviews that I have read other customers have purchased new systems around the same time that I did and their units are breaking down every few months as well. It looks as if the product is subpar or we were not given new units that we were told we were getting. I used Metro Energy for over 15 years but now that I know I can use the manufacturer's authorized dealers, I will be finding a new HVAC company to service my unit because there is no reason for a brand new unit 3 years old to be having problems every 6 months and they are constantly blaming it on the filters while trying to sell their additional products. Something needs to be done regarding these bad units. #classaction
