Best Thermostat Replacement in Fort Worth TX

Can't say enough good things about Hawk. Josh in the home office was great getting me set up for two appointments. And Josh the technician went above and beyond in his efforts. After initial diagnosis, upon his return to do repair, he tried something that hadn't occurred to him on initial visit, and lo and behold, it worked and saved us some money. Will be using for any future needs and definitely recommending Hawk to anyone from now on!

I reached out to this company today to get a regular maintenance service done on my HVAC system. The customer service rep sounded like she had no idea of what to do and finally, she checked the system and said she can send her team the next Wednesday but before I confirm she hung up. I tried calling again but no answer.

First off I was scheduled for an appointment without.a time window so I guess the expect you to wait at home all day. Although on my many calls they did say “ well we don’t recommend staying at home and waiting for us because you will be notified 30-45 min out”. So I’m supposed to go to work or run my errands and just drop everything I’m doing at a moments notice? I received a text at 9:44 am that I was the next call. And a tech didn’t show up until 10pm. The tech was professional when he showed up he diagnosed the problem pretty quickly and replaced a 40$ capacitor with a 300$ Capacitor plus the service call…..The mark up is ridiculous for a swapping of a part that took 20 minUpdate…after leaving this review Ricardo a Manager from Airco immediately reached out to me about my experience and had a discussion and said that customer service was important to him and wanted to make it right.

I use a contractor JTM Remodeling whose helper removed paint from cabinets using a sander inside the house without covering furniture, AC registers, appliances or anything else of value; Needless to say the finest black mist settled on everything-It didn’t matter how much I cleaned, the mist would come back. The good news is Jose Farina, the owner of JTD Remodeling happens to have great connnections and is one of the most honorable people I’ve met. He recognized the problem and hired Mars Services to deep clean the house and also Clean the ducts and vents. They did an amazing job. Frankly, I didn’t think it was possible, but they managed to get the place so that there are no traces of the mist. I can use my oven, the HVAC and enjoy my home again. Mars Services is fantastic- I recommend them highly!

We had no heat in our house in the middle of a blizzard. We called up Plumber at 9:30pm and they had discovered our boiler went out.
They responded very quickly and within 2 and a half hours they were at my house doing repairs.
They had all the required parts needed to fix my boiler on hand, in stock at their shop.

I purchased an entire new unit from Metro Energy in May 2019. Within 2 years the capacitor went bad. I paid for it not realizing it was a part that was under warranty. In Feb 2022 the heat went out. They came and said my unit was dirty and tried to sell me filters and a 3k cleaning system. Two days later the heat went out again. They came back out and repaired it. They performed maintenance on the unit late March 2022, still trying to sell me their filters and cleaning system. Fast forward to this month and the heat goes out again. This time the motor is blown. Their only reasoning each time they have to come out is that my filter is dirty and cause the unit to clog. I change my filters like clockwork every 30 days using the reminder on the thermostat. I googled dirty filters and my filter that has been in the unit for 20 days looks nothing like the filthy filters pictured. Even though the motor was under warranty, I got hit with a labor charge of over $400 for less than an hours work. When I called to speak to someone about the price of labor, I was told I would get a call back from a manager but that has not happened. From the reviews that I have read other customers have purchased new systems around the same time that I did and their units are breaking down every few months as well. It looks as if the product is subpar or we were not given new units that we were told we were getting. I used Metro Energy for over 15 years but now that I know I can use the manufacturer's authorized dealers, I will be finding a new HVAC company to service my unit because there is no reason for a brand new unit 3 years old to be having problems every 6 months and they are constantly blaming it on the filters while trying to sell their additional products. Something needs to be done regarding these bad units. #classaction
