Want a plumber you can trust? Listen to my experience! I had what I thought was a significant leak in my home. Potentially a slab leak. I reached out to Hawk to have someone come to home to perform a leak detection service. But, instead I spent time on the phone talking with their Project Leader about the issue and ways to troubleshoot. I had already done some troubleshooting, but the Project Leader suggested one more check of the sprinkler system. I was traveling, so told him I would get to that check on Saturday. He said that if I find a fix to just call back in on Saturday to cancel the Monday appointment. No fee. I ran the sprinkler check and it was the problem. Think about that. A plumber who was willing to help knowing he may not be compensated. That is as honest and trustworthy as you could be in running a service business. Can't say enough good things about this limited engagement. I'll come back to Hawk each time going forward.

Jake arrived promptly and was very helpful. He was knowledgeable and professional. He went above and beyond diagnosing the problem, explaining, and correcting a previous repair(outside of company) without prompting. Super thankful for his service, would recommend.

Our AC went out on a Thursday afternoon. Friday morning, we contacted Blue Star and a service tech, Justin, came out to assess the problem and informed us of our options (which were grim). When we tried to set up a same-day appointment to have our system replaced, they had already become booked.

So this company, with decidedly AMAZING customer service, decided to foot the bill for us to have Freon over the weekend until they could get out on Tuesday to replace it. They arrived a little early on Tuesday morning - a plus when you’re racing against the heat of the day! We’d been told it would be a 6-8 hour job - they were out in less than 5. Those guys have a rough job but they went to it with a will.

They left our attic looking more orderly than when they arrived. Everyone was polite and efficient. When we had some trouble getting the bank to approve the payment amount, Kim at the office was very kind and patient in helping me get it worked out. Overall, I’m very happy that we went with this company and I will definitely remember them for all our AC/heating needs. ❤️

I purchased an entire new unit from Metro Energy in May 2019. Within 2 years the capacitor went bad. I paid for it not realizing it was a part that was under warranty. In Feb 2022 the heat went out. They came and said my unit was dirty and tried to sell me filters and a 3k cleaning system. Two days later the heat went out again. They came back out and repaired it. They performed maintenance on the unit late March 2022, still trying to sell me their filters and cleaning system. Fast forward to this month and the heat goes out again. This time the motor is blown. Their only reasoning each time they have to come out is that my filter is dirty and cause the unit to clog. I change my filters like clockwork every 30 days using the reminder on the thermostat. I googled dirty filters and my filter that has been in the unit for 20 days looks nothing like the filthy filters pictured. Even though the motor was under warranty, I got hit with a labor charge of over $400 for less than an hours work. When I called to speak to someone about the price of labor, I was told I would get a call back from a manager but that has not happened. From the reviews that I have read other customers have purchased new systems around the same time that I did and their units are breaking down every few months as well. It looks as if the product is subpar or we were not given new units that we were told we were getting. I used Metro Energy for over 15 years but now that I know I can use the manufacturer's authorized dealers, I will be finding a new HVAC company to service my unit because there is no reason for a brand new unit 3 years old to be having problems every 6 months and they are constantly blaming it on the filters while trying to sell their additional products. Something needs to be done regarding these bad units. #classaction
