RJ and Demarco are a Father and Son team that did an AMAZING job for us. We were in a situation that we needed to remodel a small apartment bathroom after it had flooded. We had gutted the bathroom and purchased a shower kit to install. Unfortunately, after our contractor was not able to finish the job, we had tried several other companies/handyman in Anchorage that either were not available, job was too small, booked out several months, a no-show, or the quality of work was poor. Demarco had reached out to me after I made a post on the NextDoor app. He was quick to respond, gave me a call, and scheduled a free consult to go over our project the next day.

Demarco and RJ are such a pleasure to work with. Very professional and friendly. They both made suggestions on what we needed and the quality of work is superb. They installed the proper insulation behind the shower, fixed venting for the bathroom fan, installed the shower and drywall, waterproofed the floor, installed flooring, and installed the toilet/vanity. Plus, they painted the bathroom fresh and looks new! They gave us a proposal and were able to work that week and finished before the projected time. I actually ended up hiring them to do more work for us to have our apartment ready to rent again. It really restored my faith that there are people out there who have a passion for their work and treated our home like theirs. They took care of all the supplies, cleaned up the workspace pristine, and were flexible if we asked for more services or changes. Super easy and was such a relief to be taken care of. Cody was very professional and able to diagnose the issue with the furnace blower. He was able to quickly replace the part and finish the servicing. I am very happy with the service and the quality of work.

We had our line backup on the weekend... the guy came out and snaked it... less then 72 hours later the problem came back... The second guy who came out was very gracious and apologetic, explaining what the first guy didn't do and what he should have done to resolve the issue in the first place... The fact that Denali Sewer & Drain did not try to double charge us, explained to us what the issue was, and how it should have been resolved in the first place, is the reason I gave them an Excellent rating. It's one thing for someone to make a mistake and not fix the problem... we all make mistakes... But it's refreshing to find a company that's willing to go out of their way to fix the problem correctly once they know all the facts, be apologetic about it, not make up excuses, and go out of their way to make sure your issue is resolved to your satisfaction. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

Roy was on time and very professional. Was available same day which was wonderful and lucky. He made mounting tvs look easy peasy. In and out in a little over an hour for a 55 and 65 tv. Definitely will hire for future needs.

Do not hire this company. I hired this company this past month when my 10 year old water heater broke and needed to be replaced. Instead of replacing the visibly rusty water heater, they replaced the coupler. I called to complain after my credit card was charged the next day for work I did not authorize. I was ignored and blown off by the office staff saying it was a miscommunication.

3 days later my hot water heater broke again, this time it flooded my house. I called Mountain Mechanical before regular hours explaining my situation with their after hours staff with a message for them to call me when they opened. I never received a call. I called them again the next day and asked to speak with the manager/owner about the situation of my hot water heater flooding my house after their work. I was told the manager was on a job and would call me back. No call!

This company is responsible for a flood that cost ~$8000 worth of damage to my house. First, they did not replace the water heater that needed to be replaced. Second, they did work on my hot water heater that was not authorized. Third, whatever work they did, my hot water heater seems to be what caused the hot water heater to start leaking. Fourth, they are doing nothing to make good on their mistake.

Mike's team was late every step of the way through our tub and Surround installation project. The plumbing under the tub leaked causing the ceiling in the bathroom below to need replacing. His team fixed the leak and repaired the drywall in a timely fashion. However, a few months later and we have another wet spot on the ceiling so apparently the leak was not fixed. I contacted Mike he set a time for the next day to take care of the problem and was a no call no show. I have since left several messages and he is ghosting me. Very unprofessional and unresolved issue.
