Elder and Young did some work for us by installing a pressure regulator. Eric, the owner, came out for the diagnostic. He was very thorough in explaining my situation and possible resolution. He was very personable and a very down to Earth guy. The actual installation was done by another technician, who was also very thorough in explaining what he was doing. The fact that they did everything to inform their customers made me glad I hired them. The installation took 30 minutes and was very clean, compared to what another company wanted to do. I called Nic-Beck’s Plumbing for an estimate for a mainline sewer blockage. Their estimate was a fraction of what we received from other companies and included more than what was being offered by their competitors!…I was shocked by the other outrageous prices we received and am thankful for calling around for additional estimates. The problem was diagnosed quickly and the process to resolve the issue was explained in full detail. All of the technicians were respectful and courteous from the very start and made my frustrating day and experience pleasurable. I was directed to this company from socalgas for my water heater issue. Got diagnosed and told for pilot assembly and gas controller issue. I am not an expert so I had to go by the guys who are claiming ‘experts’ themselves. I was given the estimate of $525 to fix the issue and the technician said it would be an hour work job. Since it was an emergency, I even paid the express shipping fee to order the parts.

For the estimate I was given compared to the time required to fix totally did match for me so I had a handyman I know to come and look at it. He diagnosd for gas connect issue and fixed it in 10 minutes without replacing any parts and all the complicated work process.

I called the company again spoke to the manager but they only went by the manual and gave the estimate based on their rates and blah blah. They could have been right and how I resolved my issue could be only temporary, but, if this company/technician really concerned about my issue he could had done the same thing and fix ‘temporarily’ since we had been asserting the issue is emergent since the issue is at my business rather than just giving me the $525 repair estimate cost in the beginning. In results, I am still waiting for the parts that I didn’t even get to see those yet that I paid for express and paid diagnosis did not help me at all.

Be aware when you deal with the company.

Didn't know what he was talking about wanted to charge $5000 once I said no he dropped it down to $4000 for a job I got done for under $450 it was a waste of my time having to leave work early to meet with him

If I had the option if zero stars I would have done that. This company was hired through our apartment complex to redo ALL the pipes.
We noticed the first day that one of our lampshades had been broken. When we asked the guys about what happened, they denied that they had been anywhere near the lamp. We don't have pets and none of us did it, so ghosts maybe?
The next day we realized that we were missing the cover panel to a ceiling light and that the door enclosing our A.C. unit was literally ripped off the hinge (as if it was pulled off the wall by the Hulk?). Again, we got the 'not our fault' line about the door and were told they would replace the panel ASAP. That was last week, Wednesday/Thursday ish.
While re-doing the drywall on Friday, one of the workers put a nail through the new flexible pipe they had installed and caused a massive leak that flooded one of our closets. Despite it being their fault amd their job, they did not fix it. We had to get our complex to come out and do it.
It's now Tuesday of the week after the work should have been completed and they haven't addressed any of our concerns about the damage done to our apartment by their workers.
Would NOT recommend.

Fast, experienced, and nice!

I made an appointment 1 week ago and was given a 10 am - 12 pm window for a toilet install. The price seemed reasonable but that was the only plus. Received a confirmation phone call the day before. Then the service went to unreliable, unresponsive, excuse filled, waste of time. I called them at 12:20 pm to see when they were to arrive. I was told they “were finishing the other job”and would be here shortly. Over promise and under deliver. The only reason there is 1 star is because I can’t leave ZERO stars. Wasted an entire day- which is my only day off waiting for nothing. Would not recommend.
