After frustrating experience with another plumbing company on finding a slab leak, I called Orange Coast and they promptly scheduled a same day appointment. Jeff Montgomery and Rock Lonn came over ontime an were very professional and courteous. They laid out a plan and worked hard in locating and isolating the leak. They explained every step they were doing. They isolated the leak and restored most of the water which had been off for four days. They returned two days later and developed an excellent, efficient plan for re-pipng around the leaking pipe and restored water to the entire house. I highly recommend this company and their knowledgable, highly experienced staff.

The night before we were leaving for an overseas trip, I backed up the kitchen sink!! Out came OC Plumbing after hours and saved the day!!!
I called OC Plumbing @5 pm due to a sudden rupture of the water shutoff valve under a toilet. The operator I spoke to was very courteous and informed me that the assessment/repair could be done that same night, which was fantastic. Technicians Anthony and Curt arrived quickly and were very polite and professional in their assessment and repair recommendation--the work was done quickly, replacing the valve unit assemblies/hose and also checked the water pressure(due to the sudden water rupture). My experience was very positive, and I will definitely use Orange Coast Plumbing for any future needs.

Colton and Oscar were great!
They arrived and assessed the situation. They came back the next day and pinpointed the source of the leak. They immediately asked permission to open the wall and found a pinhole leak which was barely detectable. They capped the line and installed new piping and got water flowing again.
They took care of the problem quickly, accurately and professionally.

Reese was absolutley amazing, he came in and made sure everything was connected correctly, once connected before he left ha made sure it turned off and on, and that there were no other issues at hand. He’s a great employee and I can’t wait to hopefully have him again if I need help in the future.
Our kitchen sink backed up for the fourth time in a year. Steven diagnosed our problem for free and really took the time to explain all of our options and answer all of our questions. I phoned with a leaking and poorly performing water heater. They dispatched Stephen for same day inspection and consultation. He provided an immediate diagnosis and itemized list of work to be done. They made sure their quote was competitive and he completed the work on the next business day. He was prompt, polite, clean and efficient. Our water heater was new last week, but we still didn't have real hot water before Alex got here today. He came through for us and got right to work diagnosing issues with plumbing related to our recent water heater installation. He had nearly everything he needed on his truck and worked tirelessly; he checked plumbing inside and outside for solutions, checked the electrical box, checked everywhere for leaks, cut out sections of pipe and an old filter and replaced it with a new one with a bypass for when I need to change the filter cartridge next year. Honestly, it seemed like he never even took a break. He went above and beyond because, on one of his trips between the garage and indoors, he noticed the air was low in my husband's rear tire, so he filled the tire! Alex is one of the most comprehensive service - people I have met. We are grateful for his tenacity, conscientious skill, kindness and unbeatable customer service, but most of all, we have HOT water!

James from orange coast plumbing was extremely professional and courteous, and quickly took care of our drain overflow issue. Would definitely recommend!
Henry was extremely professional and courteous throughout the entire visit. He was attentive and answered all the questions I had. He even saw some shoddy plumbing work done previously and made some recommendations that it wasn't up to code and should eventually be fixed to prevent issues down the road. He didn't pressure me to fix them, it was just a heads up of things to keep an eye on. He's clearly a very knowledgable technician.
He originally quoted me $507 to replace my garbage disposal, but when I told him a competitor had quoted me $345 for the same service, he knocked $50 off the price for a total of $457.
The overall cost was a bit more expensive than I expected, but everything else was a great experience. Highly recommended.

We called Orange Coast Plumbing for a leak we had in a vent connected to our tankless water heater. Chuck and Nolan showed up and quickly found the problem. They went out got the materials needed and replaced the vent. These guys were great in explaining the problem and the solution. These are my go to plumbers. I have a rental and anytime I need work they are awesome. They are professional and awesome. The only negative I’ve found is they are a little pricey. But you get what you pay for. I trust this company and have even checked other places but have to have Orange costs come out and repair what was already done. My favorite of all the plumbers is Jeff always nice and informative.

EDIT: Recently had a second plumbing company inspect my water heating unit as well as the work Henry from Orange Coast provided. This second company laughed at how unprofessional, poorly handled, and the unnecessary fixes orange coast did with my unit. The second plumbing company said clearly, Orange coast isn't properly trained in this field if they can't fix a heating unit. Can't stress enough how SHADY this business is. Unless you want poor quality work, unprofessional support/management from this horrible company, and a HIGH up charge, I would highly suggest looking for a MUCH BETTER plumbing service elsewhere. If I could give Orange Coast zero stars I would for their poor service and their manager who continuously hung up during our phone call because he didn't wan't to handle a customer issue. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SHADY COMPANY!!!!!
DO NOT get your services done with this company. They deserve 0 stars for the way they perform their work as well as the way they treat their customers. When I called for a leaky hot water unit in our home, the company said a technician will come out for free to give an estimate of the issue. However, the technician, Henry, who came to assess the situation said the only way he would be able to perform a diagnostic is to change the valves and flux lines for $549 to determine what the issue is. After I called my fiancé and had him speak to Henry on the phone, the price suddenly dropped to $244. The only way he could diagnose the issue was to change the flux lines. Henry changed those lines, only to come to me after saying my original lines he just changed didn’t have any issues but yet, proceeded to charge me. Since that moment he tried “fixing” the issue at hand, I have had 10X the amount of water leaking from my unit compared to before he came. I spoke with his supervisor Joe to raise our concerns regarding the work that Henry performed only for Joe to try cutting me off multiple times during the conversation and hanging up on me when he got frustrated with the call. I am EXTREMELY disappointed by Joe’s management skills (or lack thereof) as well as how Joe tried “handling” a customer issue. This company did NOT live up to it’s “100% satisfactory” company model. Please do yourself and your wallet a favor and go with another plumbing company. Also if you’re a female, they will FULLY take advantage of you and up charge their pricing thinking you won’t notice.

I have used Orange Coast Plumbing for several years and have never been disappointed. Karen, who took my request was super friendly and responsive to my request for a certain time range. James Athens was the technician who responded. James was incredibly knowledgeable about ever facet of plumbing and the laws. The technician from Orange Coadt Plumbing, Michael, was very professional and knowledgeable. An older set of leaking faucets required removal and replacement. The older faucets were 'frozen' due to years of scale buildup, and Michael had to use his experience and knowledge to finally get them removed safely. The faucets were stubborn but Michael was persistent and got the job done with no damage to existing piping......he then installed new faucets - no leakage and they work great. Overall the installation looks great and very professional. Having, been a customer of Orange Coast Plumbing for years, I stay with them because they are dependable and always do a great job.

Was getting ready to install a new faucet in the kitchen and found that the under sink on/off valves were corroded.
Called Orange Coast Plumbing and James showed up within 30 minutes.
James saw the problem, told us how much it would be and got to work. James was super friendly in answering my questions as he worked and we just chatted the entire time.
James is an artist, in installed new valves and everything looked great. Even though it was under the sink and behind the trash can and cleaning supplies, James made it look aesthetically pleasing. He left the space under the sink cleaner than he found it.
We didn’t have “plumbers” before his visit but now we have someone trustworthy and reliable that we can call when we need someone and also someone we will recommend to our friends and family.

The plumber, Reece, was very professional, yet friendly. He assessed the problem with our toilet then Went to his truck and found the exact parts needed. This was an older toilet (22 years older!!) and he knew exactly how to repair it. We are very pleased with the work done and he left everything clean and in place. A man names James answered our call in Tustin about a drain problem in our kitchen Sink and had to Snake it and the process worked and was super helpful and fixed our problem, I was very relieved and grateful for his work! The service provided was not bad. We had a leaking hot water heater and needed a plumber. Our home warranty company could not get a plumber out until the next afternoon. They authorized us to find a plumber to replace the water heater. Orange Coast did replace the heater but charged us 2800.00 to do so. We were in a very difficult position and I felt like they took advantage of the situation. We could not risk water damage and the drain was clogged with sentiment so I was unable to drain the tank.
I am now fighting with my home warranty company for reimbursement since the 2800.00 was more then they feel is a reasonable cost.
I selected this company after reading some of the reviews. I was never really provided a breakdown the costs either. Again I feel we were over charged.

What an amazing company! They took my job right away and were on site with a couple hours to detect, identify and estimate the cause of the issue. They were able to quickly mitigate the issue and came back the next day for a full repair. Great quality and James was great about communicating every aspect of what was needed and completing a repair in a difficult to reach place and being less invasive. Definitely recommend.

Nolan & Taylor arrived promptly to evaluate a leaking pipe that is connected to the main water shutoff valve that supplies water to the landscape irrigation. They were very professional and knowledgeable, explained what needed to be done to fix the problem and completed the repairs. This company is a fraud. They will prey on inexperience and have no idea what they are doing. They advertised 100% satisfaction guaranteed, but they were so inept in finding the root cause of the issue and changed a part and charged us over 200$ to achieve absolutely no different results as to why the watering system was leaking. Operations Manager named Marc, his supervisor Joe and Technician named Henry, these guys are rude frauds and when I called to reconcile and ask for a refund, they said thanks for your business. Your success depends on the service you provide, and the service you provide is dissatisfactory. That itself should be reason to refund your amount and do business correctly as guaranteed.
Jesse came out to my house immediately to help with a plumbing emergency at 9:00 pm on a Friday night. He quickly diagnosed the problem and stopped the leak. He was excellent, professional and effective, and I appreciated his service very much! I would recommend Jesse and Orange Coast Plumbing to everyone!

Just had them fix a clogged sink and broken garbage disposal today. Called and they sent someone next day. Jeff M came and was very easy to talk to, very professional. Orange coast was fantastic! My husband attempted a plumping project on his own and wasn’t quite successful. Orange coast responded the same day ( Sunday) and had the problem resolved in no time! Easy to contact and easy to work with!

This morning Colten showed up to fix my hvac ahead of schedule. It took a day for them to come out.
He was professional and appears to have diagnosed and address two issues. The AC appears to not leak anymore and blows even colder air than before.
Update: it appears the leak was not fixed and there is water coming out again after turning on the AC.
Update 2: I received a call from the company to follow up and he would discuss internally. In retrospect they did explain their work but didn’t know definitely and the next potential step may not resolve (replacing the drain pan) the issue and it would take a removal of the coil and possibly some of the piping which would take half a day. I’ve bumped up the rating.

Bobby and Kyle were efficient, gave me clear information about costs and time to completion, worked hard to meet my time constraints, and were genuinely pleasant to work with.

Nate Romero was very professional and explained what needed to be done and the cost for the job in a very timely manner. He was courteous at all times. Once he began the work, his time was spent wisely. The job required parts not carried in his truck; however, he took time to look up the necessary parts that needed to be purchased with a link for ease of finding at the local hardware store. Bobby S. did a great job on replacing our hydronic heating coil unit that was leaking. Upgraded the hoses to copper tubing for efficiency and to last longer than original hose.
Very knowlegeable on this type of heating. He explained to us well how this type of system works. Did not leave a mess too. OCB charged us more than half from other plumber we got.

Technician claims he ‘reconnected’ a wire which was unrelated to the issue he was called for. Now, the furnace fan will not turn off. He says that it must be a short, but there was no issue with this before he came.
My response to your response:
When I made the appointment, I was told there was no charge for an estimate of the work to fix the problem. However, the FIRST thing the tech did was get me to sign a permission to do work and be charged before he even looked at the furnace. He then seemed more interested in trying to ‘condemn’ the furnace (his word, not mine) than fix it. After he left and I reported the issue that I believe he created, you offered to send another technician “at no cost” to figure out the problem. I am not falling for the “at no cost” trick again.

It was late at night & our mainline sewer pipe clogged, and was backing up into the house. I called a number of plumbing businesses who advertised 24/7 operations, but most just went to VM & I didn’t get a call back till the next day, and others could not come till MUCH later or not at all. Then I called Orange Coast plumbing, and Chuck VanStralendorff answered immediately! Chuck came to our home in less than 20 minutes from the call at sometime past midnight. He got right to work and cleared the main drain, and solved a huge problem for us in the middle of the night!!! Great job Chuck, and OC Plumbing!! Many thanks!

Orange Coast did a great job replacing our shower fixture which had been leaking despite prior repairs by other companies. Steven was our technician who did a very thorough job prepping the bathroom with protective materials to limit the dust and debris from opening the tile wall to access the plumbing.
The fix was top-notch and we were thrilled with the results and new hardware. I would not hesitate to use Orange Coast's services for future projects.

We ultimately needed to replace the unit and Jeff and Anthony had us up and running less than 24 hours from our original call! So responsive, efficient and super friendly.
