AAARK has taken good care of us for years. When our furnace went out in January shortly after buying our home, they had a new one installed at a reasonable price before we froze. And when our original air conditioner stopped cooling our home in the middle of a hot summer, they again quickly got us going and cooled down. And once again, on the coldest day in January when the heat stopped working, they came to our rescue right away and educated me on the value of regular maintenance. I had a fair amount of work to do updating a recently-acquired older house. Not one big job, but several smaller jobs; took two plumbers a full 8 hour day.
My interactions with the owner who came out to give me the quote as well as the two plumbers who came out to do the work were all very positive. I don't know enough to comment on how competitive the price was, but it certainly seemed reasonable, and the final cost was exactly as quoted.
Random and unrelated-to-plumbing anecdotal bonus: I really appreciated the owner being mindful of/kind to a passing bumblebee when we were discussing the quote outside.
Less unrelated-to-plumbing anecdotal bonus: one of the plumbers who came out to do the work commented towards the end that this plumbing-company-owner was better than any other he had worked for, including something about the distribution of the payment being more equitable? My memory is hazy on the details (sorry!) but I remember the comment being good and I remember being glad to hear it.

Jason was amazing... it was around 5pm on Saturday night! We had been working all day on braking down our saltwater tank and had hooked up the hose to rinse it out. Water was shooting out everywhere so I decided that I better check the crawl space to make sure nothing was leaking. And boy am I glad I did. We had a puddle of water, but it wasn't all from the hose. Apparently our drainage pipe from our kitchen sink was cracked and had been leaking, for who knows how long into the crawl space! I immediately called a plumbing company and they couldn't get anyone to the house until Monday at noon, so I called another company and got the same answer. I saw Iron plumbing and thought well it's worth a shot and Jason answered! I explained the situation and he told me that he was in Brighton...we live in Littleton!..but he would head out to us as soon as he possibly could. I felt a wave of relief pour over me. I figured it was going to cost me an arm and a leg so I asked how much and his response was extremely reasonable and perfectly affordable. When he got here and found out that not only was the drainage pipe cracked in not just one spot but two, he also discovered our hose pipe had frozen and cracked also! He went right to work and he worked so hard! For hours! He had everything he needed to do the repairs. He was such a kind man and he really cared about us and our situation. He stayed well past midnight to ensure that we had the ability to have running water in the morning. He was very professional and extremely kind and generous...honestly we have been so stress doing a house remodel and breaking down a 90 gallon saltwater tank so we can get new flooring I really think I may have cracked if he hadn't come to rescue us! Thank you Jason! You did an amazing job for a very reasonable price! And we will always remember you coming to help us. We have your number on lock now and we definitely will be using your skills again.. if I could give you more than 5 stars I would.

We were in a real panic with two water heaters leaking and ready to go. I called 6 different water heater companies and no one was available or really concerned with our emergency, until I talked with Allen from Todd's and sent him a picture of my problem. He didn't put me off and didn't overcharge me with this vulnerable emergency. He truly realized the sense of urgency. He arranged for Tony, a kind and highly talented technician to come and replace the water heaters within a few hours. Needless to say, Todd's saved us from a nightmare! I highly recommend this caring and responsible company and I'm in awe of how it was beautifully handled!

Be careful when using Tony Capra Plumbing and heating... if they show up at your door and do no work, they will charge you $205!

On their web site they have a section that is titled Fair Pricing at Tony Capra Plumbing and Heating they go on to say We are a trustworthy business and only charge for products and services provided. That is why we have chosen to stand by our traditional method while other companies have changed to upfront pricing.

Clearly $205 to show up is an up from charge... One that they do NOT explain to you when you schedule an appointment.

I called to discuss my invoice and they basically said we don't care what you think...we don't care that this charge was not explained to you...our prices are the best in the Denver area (so not true)

Feels like they pulled a fast one on me, and I would highly recommend you get an estimate on the phone before they arrive or it will cost you $205 before they do any work.

When I called to discuss this I spoke with Carlo, he had no desire to discuss this with me and said that's they way we do it... I am sorry no one explained that to you up front.

I told Carlo I would pay their bill, but never use them again. He did not care at all, made it seem like I did something wrong. Great job Carlo, I appreciate your complete lack of care and your willingness to lose a customer.

Unless you want to be overcharged...
Stay away from Tony Capra Plumbing and heating.

Gres plumbing did I very good job cleaning the main drains of my house. On time and super reliable. I highly recommend this company !!!
