Todd's Water Heater Repair - Install

My water heater was making noises and had reached the end of its life. I reached out to several companies to get quotes, and all of them were quoting me for a package price that included the entire install including venting, drip pan, expansion tank, etc. I didn’t need all of that, I just needed a new water heater. I finally found Todd’s water heater repair and Mike called me to talk through the process. He said that only one piece of my puzzle needed replacement, and that’s all they would replace and charge me for. He did give me quotes up front for other items (such as a drip pan) if he thought they needed replacement once he started doing the job (for honesty and transparency). He spent quite a bit of time with me answering all of my questions and was very kind. Because they were not charging me for a package I did not need, the price was much cheaper than the other, larger companies. I reached out and scheduled the replacement with them and Mike showed up right on time, did the job quickly and efficiently, and then took time to show us the new water heater including how to shut it off if we ever needed to. He took out the old water heater, caused zero damage to our stairs and walls, and cleaned up after himself. I waited to post this review for 6 weeks, to make sure I didn’t run into any issues, but everything has been working perfect and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to go with Todd’s. I highly recommend them!

I found Todd's through online reviews when our water heater went out and started leaking all over the basement. I sent a picture and got a call right away from Mike with a quote and a few hours later I called back to schedule the replacement for the next day. The installer Mike Wrege was exceptional! He was friendly, knowledgeable and did a wonderful job replacing a tank-less Water heater and Water softner. I compared prices with other companies and they came in way cheaper. From start to finish this company was fabulous and I would highly recommend them!

Alan did a fantastic job start to finish. From getting us a quote quickly to installing a new water heater the next day. Price was reasonable, honestly a bargain when you consider the professionalism and attention to detail. Don’t waste your time and money with another company!

Alan called me back right after I sent him pictures. Then he managed to squeeze us in to the end of a busy friday. He was super professional, fast, neat and great with the kids. My son was like, “he’s really cool.” He installed the new heater quickly, fixed some plumbing issues the last guy had left, and was helpful explaining the new system as well.

Mike and team at Todd's Water Heater Repair are great! From initially requesting a quote, all the way through installation, Mike was exceptionally thorough and informative. He made sure we had all the information necessary to make an informed decision about our new water heater installation, whether or not we selected him for the work, and in the end provided a very competitive quote.

We ultimately selected Todd's WHR to replace our 25-year old 40gal water heater with a brand new 50gal water heater. Initially we were considering moving to a tankless system, but Mike helped us understand how given our situation, size of house, usage, etc. we would see as much benefit from upgrading to a brand new, larger capacity tank heater as we would from a tankless system at a fraction of the cost. Once we decided to move forward, Mike was exceptionally communicative in terms of setting up a time to come perform the swap-out, progress on arrival time (even amidst a snow storm), and was extremely efficient. His work was done in less than an hour, and afterwards he walked us through all of the changes he made, new components, etc. to make sure we understood how everything worked. He made a point to ensure that all relevant water and gas line modifications were tight, no leaks, etc.

So glad we trusted. all of the other 5 star reviews and worked with Mike and team- it's great to have a quality local company like this in your back pocket and we will be going back to Todd's for all of our future plumbing needs.

What an amazing company. Best prices, quality equipment, great sense of urgency, strong communication and professionalism. I called them Tuesday afternoon and had a water heater installed by Wednesday evening. I cannot stress enough how exceptional this company is. Mike and the team at Todds Water Heater Repair are top notch. Best water heater installation company in Denver Metro.

The reviews are spot on. Our water heater went out, called Todd's at 7pm at night, was given instructions to send info and pictures via email, Mike called me next morning w/ thorough details and a quote. He even offered to come out that evening to install but we scheduled for following morning. The quote given was slightly lower than another bid we received.
Mike called 30 min before arrival, showed up, got the work done. We live in an old Victorian with steep steps to basement. Basement is mostly dirt dig out w/ small space for water heater. Not the most pleasant work spot but Mike made it seem like it was business as usual. Got it done in less than a few hours. Nicest guy and clearly knows his stuff. Water heater looks and works great. Highly recommend!

Called Todd's for a tankless water heater installation. I was able to get a quote the next day and schedule an appointment immediately. Mike installed everything. He was super patient, answered all my questions, and detailed everything out for me. Now I have hot water and I'm very happy with the service.

Note: There was an issue paying Mike with PayPal. Payment eventually went through but PayPal created a lot of issues for us. So don't use PayPal.

Couldn't agree more with the other reviews. Todd's was able to get to us quickly when our hot water heater broke. Todd was extremely professional. I'm incredibly grateful for the quality customer service and reasonable pricing. Highly recommend!

Mike replaced our water heater and was fantastic. Highly recommend! I interact with a lot of contractors and he was personable, efficient, and didn’t mansplain anything to me (ladies, you know what I mean). Todd’s WH Repair is affordable and got my job on the schedule quickly. I will definitely call again.

I had a water heater break on me, I called Todd's Water Heater Repair and within minutes I had an appointment that same day for repairs. When he arrived he was very nice and gave all of the details of the work that needed to be done. All of the repairs were finished in a timely manner, and cleaned up better than before. Have to say I am extremely impressed with Todd's Water Heater Repair. They replaced an old water heater for me and very much exceeded my expectations. Mike who completed the work did a very thorough job and afterwards explained all of the work he did in detail. He also showed me how to maintain the water and things to be mindful of. The work was completed just how we discussed during the estimate process and Mike answered every single question I had. Definitely have found my go to company for any water need I may have in the future. Fantastic business and definitely a company you can feel comfortable relying on for your water heater needs. Also, they were extremely competitive on the price as well. Couldn't be happier.

We called Todd's today about noon to see if they could come out. They let us know that they'd be at the house between 3-5pm and showed up during that time frame. They removed and installed the new water heater within an hour!!! Mike was extremely polite and professional. He made sure everything was working great and went over everything with us. Our water heater went out recently, and of course the timing was impeccable. But we called Todd's Water Heater Repair and he resolved the problem quickly and efficiently. He was very conversant and never tried to oversell us on anything. He truly cared about providing us with the best service.

My hot water didn’t seem to be as hot as normal. I called Todd’s Water Heater Repair and they came out the following day. He looked it over and then he throughly explained to me what the problem was. And not just the price difference of replacing the water heater VS fixing the problem. I decided to fix the water heater. He fixed it the same day AND cleaned up his mess. My big tank water heater died on Wednesday and after some other company came out the Thursday and couldn’t do anything about it I called Todd’s Thursday evening and I was scheduled for the tankless install the next day. Michael came out and had it installed in a few hours. Would highly recommend

Todd's gave me a good price on a water heater install. After installation the heater had a gas leak and they went out of their way to fix it and double check on it.

Our water heater stopped working on a Friday evening. After trying to fix it on my own, I called Todd's on Sunday afternoon and Chris immediately called me back. He discussed the issue I was having and agreed that it was time to replace the broken water heater. He discussed tankless vs traditional water heater pros and cons with me after I asked, then asked me to send photos of the area our water heater was installed. He then gave me a few different size options to choose from with up front pricing and said they could have a technician come out for the install the following morning. The technician (Emilio) arrived on time on Monday and completed the removal of the old and install of the new water heater in about 2 hours, which blew me away. The turnaround from my initial call on a Sunday to us having hot water again on Monday was less than 24 hours. My overall experience was 10/10 - everyone I interacted with at Todd's was professional, there were no surprises in the pricing estimates and the final amount, and I received near-emergency turnaround time with no hassle. I would highly recommend Todd's for any of your water heater needs!

Allen and Emilio were amazing extremely professional, and awesome customer service. I highly recommend this company they went out of their way to to get my water heater installed. I priced out several companies and they beat all the quotes. I will definitely recommend and use them for all future needs!

Recently, I had been having problems with my radiant heating. I was searching for someone to get me in the same day or the next. Todd’s Water Heater Repair got me in for early the next day. The plumber they had sent was an expert when it came to combi boilers. He was able to get me back up and going in just over an hour. Extremely happy with their service.

I was in a crunch a few years ago when my water heater went out in Nov. I called around and Todd's was the only place that could come quickly at a decent price. They were able to install and get a new water heater up and running the next day. Fast forward to a few days ago. I am selling the house and there were three issues with the water heater. So I called Todd's and they were able to get me scheduled the next day again and easily fix the issues. Took less than an hour in total. They have done excellent work, and will remain my go-to for any water heater needs in the future.

Called the team based on a quick google search and the high rating. Got an immediate response, quote and within a few hours had a new water heater in our home even with an undersized opening for the heater. Excellent service and work. Not to mention I got this all done while I was at work across town. The team was in and out. Thanks again to everyone at the shop. Mike did a great job with being responsive to my request for a quote, telling me what he recommended for my Water Heater, showing up on time with a call ahead of time, and then doing a great job with the install. I was recommended by a friend and I would do the same.

We had a water heater replaced by Todd's in March and in May it stopped working. We are new home owners and this was out first ever water heater replacement and we were not sure what went wrong. I called Todd's memorial day evening and chris answered to ensure they would come the next day and make sure everything was working. My husband was home to meet Allen and the tech and they discovered it was our sump pump. This was not even Todd's problem, yet they went out of their way to drain the water, light the pilot light and help us move forward. My husband not only mentioned once, but twice how impressed he was with their costumer service. Hot water heater went out when I had a house full of guests. Chris was able to come and fix it quickly. Did a good job promptly and without charging me an arm and a leg. Will definitely use these guys for all my future needs. Very grateful for their excellent work.

Great staff here. They were all so polite and friendly. I was on the phone with them for a really long time trying to get details sorted out but they were always super nice. I don’t really know too much about water heaters other than the fact that mine quit working and I needed hot water. From what I cold see the plumber was attentive to detail and always communicated to me with what he was doing. He made me fee comfortable too (sometimes it can feel awkward with a stranger in your home) but he was awesome! Would use them again for sure!

Great guys. We had a broken 10-year-old water heater. Allan gave us options - fix the problem and the heater might last another few years or replace it and get the peace of mind of knowing you've got at least another 10 years before you have to think about it again. When we opted for the replacement they were able to get it done the same day and the price of the job was very reasonable. They only work with the best products including Bradford White water heaters which are only available to professionals, are made in America, and their warranty is one of the best in the business. They're a little more expensive than those available at a big box store, but you get what you pay for. Think about it. If you have a catastrophic failure of your water heater the free bucks you saved getting a cheaper heater will be a fraction compared to the cost of a flooded basement.

If you're looking for a high quality job, in a timely fashion, from a company with integrity, these are your guys.

Our old hot water heater developed a leak, and Todd's came out the very next afternoon (within 24 hours of contacting them) and installed a new hot water heater. Very professional installation and worksite clean when they were done. Very pleased with their response time and workmanship. I have more plumbing projects, and will most likely use them again.

We were in a real panic with two water heaters leaking and ready to go. I called 6 different water heater companies and no one was available or really concerned with our emergency, until I talked with Allen from Todd's and sent him a picture of my problem. Jason was FANTASTIC! Very knowledgeable and professional. He repaired what he could do. So that we could have hot water for a few days until a new water heater could be installed. He kept me informed along the way and was very conscientious. I would recommend to all my friends and family.

Todd won my business from the get-go. I did call a few other plumbers prior but none compared. Todd installed a better water heater for less money. No nickel and dime extra this and that. He stuck to the price he quoted over the phone even when some extra work was needed.

Called them because of the good reviews, the lady who answered was very nice. She told me to send pictures of the old one with the label which
I did. Even followed up with another email later that day. ( she said the workers call between each job ) Never heard a thing back.
Update, I have changed the rating as he did call us back. It wasn't the same day as I was told it would be but he did call. He was also very apologetic about the miss connunication and I respect them for that.

Despite showing up at the end of the day the repairman was in good spirits, efficient, and worked until the hot water heater was working again. I expected the worst but the repair cost was affordable and the plumbing tech offered additional safety features which made sense even if it was just a pitch. Overall a great experience in a world where most repairmen seem like sharks.

Mike helped us out, big time! Courteous, knowledgeable, and was even engaging with my 4 y/o who turned into the riddler as soon as he arrived to repair the disposal!

Cody was on time and walked me through the steps he would perform. For the next 20 minutes, I received a crash course on water heaters which was well worth the time and cost for the service performed.
