From the assessment, these plumbers were able to diagnose that the previous plumbers had messed up on all my new pipes and they needed to be replaced. They gave a rough estimate and proceeded to do the work. It was beautiful and I recommend what thye do.

I called this company out to give me a quote to move a gas pipe over 2 INCHES, on the phone they said it would be $100 charge for them to come out. That’s no problem, I’ve become accustomed to paying for companies to come out to give quotes. However, what they failed to explain to me was that was just the fee to come out, not to actually diagnose the problem. The service guy Chip said because they had to cut a hole into my bathroom they would need to charge me $340 diagnostic fee. We explained to him that the pipe was not even over the bathroom, it was outside the bathroom and we had drop ceilings so no cuts were required and he could simply push the drop ceiling over to see inside. He said if he pushed he ceiling over it would still be $340 diagnostic fee, which made no sense because he didn’t have to cut holes into walls and it was very easy to see inside. Finally when someone from the company name Lexi asked me how my experience was, I told them I felt they needed to do a better job of explaining to customers that the $100 fee did not include diagnostic fees and I told them I was also disappointed that they would charge someone $340 just to push a drop ceiling over. Instead of them saying “Thank you for your feedback” they insisted on going back and forth with me via text message about why they felt they needed to charge me $340 because Chip told them the pipe was in the bathroom and he had to cut out my wall to see inside, even though it was not. In my opinion they will get over on people by doing more work than needed. If Google allows me to post the pictures of my drop ceiling and show the pipe was in fact not above the bathroom I will.I ended up paying a total of $400 for another company to move the pipe. With this company I would have spent $440 before they even touched the pipe

We've used Apex unfortunately a few times now. The first few were for basement flooding that led to drain repair on the city's side of things. They were incredibly responsive and informed. They handled all of the contracts and permits and city delegations. And now it was for a burst pipe. They were here 30 minutes after we called. The plumber John was fast, personable, and thorough. He assesed the problem in no time, and was here for less than an hour. Not to mention the receptionist was very calming and patient while I panicked and fumbled over my words. We've reccomended them before and will continue to reccomend them. Thanks Apex!

They gave me a quote, which is on the high side. But, I have a deadline to meet, so I agreed. The quote is based on at least four communications, including photos, phone conversations. However, as soon as the plumber arrived, he asked to double the price. Wow! Then, he refused to do the job and left.
The company has very limited control of the plumbers the company sent. The plumber just refused to work and left. Very disturbing.
I can not count on this company. Very unreliable and potentially price gauging.

EDIT - I have added photos of the associated receipts (JOBS 43521 & 43503) to confirm that the claimed amount (over $1000) is accurate, given that APEX has taken the time to state that my review was not accurate.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I was charged $1,040 to ultimately disconnect/reconnect a sink and faucet installation.
I originally requested to have a garbage disposal installed with the sink re-connection. However, the plumber was unable to successfully connect the garbage disposal wiring from the prior disposal to the new disposal, after multiple attempts. The plumber's competency was a bit questionable for this task.
Additionally, the wall pipe was too high to connect the disposal drain and effectively drain the sink water. However, instead of performing a simple measurement to help determine whether the wall pipe was too high - the plumber attempted for over an hour to try to find a drain configuration that worked.
I understand why the requested garbage disposal installation was not feasible b/c of the wall drain location. However, the fact that APEX needed hours to diagnosis that a garbage disposal installation was not feasible makes me question plumber's honesty or competency.
I understand that there are labor/material costs for a plumbing service.
I am happy to pay for a plumber's labor. However, I am NOT happy to pay (over $1000) for hours and hours of labor for a plumber to 'figure it out' whether the requested job is feasible.

I can’t say enough about how amazing Henry from Savior plumbing is. We had three pipes burst during this weeks freezing temperatures (week of Christmas 2022). Within 30 minutes of calling, Henry arrived, diagnosed the problem, went to get supplies, and within about an hour, had us back up and running. A day after Christmas, what could have been a complete disaster was saved (pun intended) by Henry. I now have his card on my refrigerator and his number saved. Professionalism and skill aside, Henry is so kind and friendly (good with dogs too!) There’s no one else I’ll call.

Fantastic company to work with! They took care of a lot of our plumbing needs from rodding, to pipe replacement, to pump replacement. The owners are very honest, down to earth good people. They've made several good recommendations and don't try to upsell you on things or services you don't need. The service was speedy and they stand behind their jobs. Rates were very reasonable with excellent customer service. This is my go-to plumbing company and would highly recommend to anyone.
