Best Sewer Main Line Rodding in Chicago IL
Anthony and his partner were complete professionals. Each time they entered my home they put on shoe covers and used care to not make a mess. Everything throughout the process was thoroughly explained and I am confident the issue was resolved.

Chas, Geoff and Dave were excellent! We had an emergency sewer issue at my condo. They made us their morning priority, diagnosed and resolved the issue in the same day. Chas also explained what was happening and why and how to minimize the issue in the future. He also provided guidance on maintenance. I highly recommend APEX.

Had them out for a simple valve replacement. They were quick and got the work done the same day, that's the reason for 3 stars. Otherwise, I was quoted $400 for a job that should cost half that. Literally replacing a single valve that took less than 2 hours counting from walking through the door to leaving. The technician quoting the work said he couldn't do anything about the price. When I called the head office they said the same thing so I accepted it because I was already out $50 and had wasted time just to have him come out. If they had fixed pricing like this, I should have been quoted it over the phone before they came. After weeks of trying to speak to a manager, I finally spoke to someone and was told the price was non-negotiable and since I had agreed at the time, that was that. They even have a special offer on their webpage with no restrictions, but he refused to honor that comparing plumbing services to buying a cheeseburger. So here's your warning, expect to pay a lot for a little and make sure you mention the special offer up front.

Had a serious sewer issue last week . John came over very quickly. He assessed the issue and started work the next day. It was a multi day job and his team worked as fast and efficiently as possible to get the job done right. He also helped me navigate with the insurance company to get a quick reimbursement.

We have been using APEX for nearly 5 years and they are really great. They are very professional, always on time for the scheduled appointment, and provide a detailed explanation of what needs to be done and the associated costs. Thank you Geoff for the work you completed! Highly recommend them.

Garrity Plumbing really helped me when I needed help with my water heater. Turns out water heaters don't last forever! They were able to replace my water heater on the same day and I am so happy that I didn't have to take a cold shower. Thank you!

I would not recommend using their service for several reason and based on a recent experience I had with them:
1. The person who came to my place to help with rodding the main sewage was rude and unprofessional.
2. Although I already told him the problem and the fact that the way to get there is through the street main basin, he came over and charged me the consultation fee of 100$ just to confirm what I already told him.
3. They are not honest. He told me the city would not allow using the main basin at all and would fine me 50k$ if we do so. I called Evanston Building Department the next day and they said they usually don’t have any problem with that as long as they get a call and be informed.
4. They are not good at what they do. He didn’t check to see what the other options would be to rod the pipe. He just wanted to get the 100$ and get out ASAP. I called another company an hour later, the evaluated the sewage system in detail and determined a way to get the job done and fixed the issue on the same day (on the weekend).

John Folan is a genius! We flooded 5 times in the 9 years we lived in our home. Two years ago we went to John through local recommendations. We have an older Sears and Robuck catelog home - we thought we would be stuck having a flooding basement forever!Hiring John was the best thing we have ever done. This past week, during the torrential rain storm we had NO WATER in our basement! NONE! We have always been the victims to several feet of sewer water, this past storm was intense..what a test! Not a drop! nothing! John did not charge us an arm and a leg, he was reasonable, professional - he was done in 3 days like he promised! If your tired of water in your basement - call John Folan!!! you won't be sorry!

Ryan came out today, 2/3/21, and cleared my clogged drain. Quick, polite, clean and efficient. Price was right too! (on Social Security so that's important). I will call Green Tech in the future and recommend them to anyone inquiring. Thanks again!

Do not hire this company! They will take your money and not fix the real problem. In addition, John is very rude and condescending. I’m glad he’s able to afford $1k toilets throughout his home.
After charging $2,500 one day for a laundry room leak/backup, returning the next day for a backup they caused in downstairs unit in both bathtubs, charging $750 to look at that issue and clean bathtubs, shutting off water to a toilet after saying it was leaking and giving a $1300 quote to replace toilet, saying backups were our fault for not taking care of the issue earlier, and finally writing up a quote for another $12k to tear up driveway, replace drainage pipes, and put a new clean out.
Why were we charged all the previous charges if John learned what the issue was at the beginning?
Update: Hired a new plumber. A true professional. Eric Carlson from Precision Today. From the beginning, he gave options, explained everything, and fixed the issues in two days.
