Best Contract Work in Chicago IL

This was my first time using the service. Although I did not have an emergency, my kitchen sink was not draining well due to a problem with the garbage disposal. They were able to send someone within a couple days.
And, they probably would have been quicker if I had labeled it as urgent.

Pete and Noah showed up on time. They were friendly, polite, and informative. They installed a new garbage disposal which has been working perfectly. I'm very satisfied with the quality of work. They completely cleaned up after themselves as well

I will use this plumbing service in the future.

What I have come to learn is that 24 HR Emergency Plumber Chicago INC operates on grounds excellent customer service and total reliability. I have always used them and every time I hire, they deliver.

Great service. They completed the job as promised, and are very professional and respectful. We had a larger water heater replace an older broken one and they did a great job installing it. The work was very clean and done to perfection. There were many prior errors in the plumbing and the pipes, and they fixed everything to be in the correct position and functioning properly. We love our new water heater and the nice long hot showers!

Very quickly scheduled service and took care of the issues - well actually the plumber balked at fully investigating an issue in the basement which I thought was reasonable, a repair requested by the buyer of the condo and other findings kinda made it not necessary. I was hoping to get their invoice and findings to the buyer quickly so if they did still want it done we'd have plenty of time.

Unfortunately it is now 2+ weeks from the service and have yet to receive the invoice. Called and emailed several times to ask for it, explaining why I need the invoice. They charged my credit card and everything over a week ago.... still no invoice. Today they called and still haven't sent an invoice but tried to charge my credit card a second time for service.... At best this is a really disorganized business at worst they're operating a scam here trying to double charge people. If you did get service from them I'd check your card statements again

Pete and Omar were very helpful and installed our faucet quickly and efficiently.

They do good work, but the amount they up charge is unbelievable. Here are their rates: $198 for the first hour; $89 for each 1/2 hour after. I was charged for 2 1/2 hours of labor.

I had a plumbing job at 7 am and he spent 20 mins figuring out the situation. The plumber says he needs to get the part. I have camera footage of him leaving at 7:23 am and he comes back at 9:03 am with the part. He takes 10 mins to complete the installation and he’s out of my house at 9:15. I don’t receive an invoice until 3 weeks later (they used to give it to you on the spot) and this plumber writes his time out as 9:30 am. He has the audacity to upcharge me another 1/2 hour when he already billed me while he was out of my house for over an hour and a half from 7:23 to 9:03 am.

*edit: they made things right and gave me a credit, but still don’t think the plumber should’ve done that to me

Alex and AA Plumber are the best in the greater Chicagoland area. Alex is an owner of integrity, trust, and professionalism. We have contracted out several jobs to Alex and his team and they are always on time. Each job was done per code without any future concerns.

Sims & Sons is super responsive and does a great job! They answered my call and had an electrician to my home within an hour (for a non-urgent job)! Albert arrived and was efficient and tidy. He installed dimmers on all of our light switches, and installed a chandelier in the master bedroom. I'll definitely be using them again, and will request Albert!

We had an some minor issues with our toilet and some bi-fold doors in our hallway plus an additional issue with a shower door handle coming loose. The service has a two hour minimum and an hourly charge thereafter plus materials. Handico came highly recommended so we were optimistic that these annoying household issues would be solved. The servicemen first tried to fix several of the issues (rather than replacing them), a decision I likely wouldn't have chosen myself given the ease and relatively cheap cost of replacement but I trusted the guy to do his job, thats why we called! After unsuccessfully trying to repair several issues, he wasn't able to, so he ended up replacing the door track and doing his best to tighten the shower handle. The total bill was much higher than it should've been due to the time spent initially trying to repair things. We brought up our concerns to HandiCo and they were super responsive and appreciative of our business and feedback. You could tell they not only cared a lot about delivering the best quality service but also that the customers were left feeling good about the value. THAT is the true sign of a good business and why we will give them another chance next time. The servicemen was so disheartened and clearly a young guy in training, he will be great one day and we are happy to work through his growing pains, especially when you get management who is as incredible as these guys are. In the end we got the issues in our home solved and the bill was cut more than in half. These guys were timely, communicative, respectful, and DID fix the bulk of what was needed, it just took them a bit longer than anticipated, an issue they owned up to immediately and made us whole for. Two thumbs up, we will be using them again!

These guys are great, William and Joe came out the same day I called and power jetted my main sewer line, they even camered it too for me to make sure everything was cleaned out. Highly recommend these guys!
