Best Burst Pipes in Chicago IL

late- 2 hours outside their service call window and they didn't keep me informed about the delay (I had to call them).$300 to repair a valve (not even replace the value) 8 minutes of work.Way too expensive for an 8 minute repair.I had a leaky shut off valve for my washer. Since I don't have a water meter, I thought the water would need to be shut off at the street. I also thought that the valve may need to be replaced. He did estimate the job at $300, saying he may have to shut it off at the street and replace the valve. BUT, when it was a VERY fast repair the price did not change.I understand a plumber is expensive. I would have expected a trip charge (maybe $75) and a repair charge for 8 minutes ( maybe another $75).

First Chicago is always on time, very professional group of guys. I’ve had a couple jobs completed by them and they always do things right and let you know what’s happening so you stay informed. Definitely recommend them.

It was undoubtedly a great job. The crew came out to help and they did a thorough inspection after which they proceeded to do the work. They are really wonderful people doing wonderful things.

I can't thank John and Andrew for their excellent work. Our boiler needed to have a pipe replaced and other work. John and Andrew came on time and completely dismantled the boiler. They explained what they were doing and the thoroughly cleaned, replaced and restored everything back to working order. Along the way they explained what they were doing and why and they were very thorough. They cleaned up the area after their work and then some, the area looked much better than when they came in. The informatioin they provided was invaluable. I can't wait to have them back this Fall to start up the boiler for the coming year. They are the best. The price we were charged for this work was very resonable, too.

The technician was great. He was at my house when he said he would be. He just had to change out a service line to the stool. I guessed a 15 minute job and he was done in under 5. The service was quick and professional. He answered all questions and was in no hurry to leave until I was satisfied. He also took the time to put ID tags on all of the main water lines in the house and gave some suggestions to keep everything in tip top shape. If I ever need a plumber again, it will be Sam's Plumbing And Rodding.

Needed a antique sink repair done ASAP before a new stove was installed, APEX worked with me to make that happen. Turned out it needed quite a bit of work and in just over 3 hours a young man by the name of Chas completed the job. Price reasonable. Chas was very knowledgeable and friendly.
