York control board for heat/AC installation. My old control board burned out. So, I called the Fixture Specialists and got an appointment immediately. The receptionist, Kitty, was super friendly and extremely helpful. She quoted me a fair price over the phone and texted me an appt reminder. Mike and Chris arrived on time. Mike was knowledgeable, proficient, and fast, took pride in his work. He completed the installation and operational test within 20 minutes. My husband isn't an easy man to be impressed by anything or anyone and Mike impressed him with the quality and pride in his work.
So, stop overpaying for your HVAC repairs and give the Fixture Specialists a try. I would most definitely use their service again. Highest recommendation.

Had 2 technicians aide in determining if my unit needed replaced (excess of 20 years on the HVAC). Estimator went over in detail of each option and provided the best recommendation. Install team came 3 days later and took the better of the day to install all components. Cleaned up after themselves and were friendly. Only knock i have is that backed into the overhanging branches in my drive and knocked a few off that were left on my lawn (minor complaint easy to pick up). Nearly 5 discussions and 2 months of dealing with them we got the drip pan issue resolved only for it to rear its ugly head again tonight (8/14) after returning from a family vacation. This is frustrating and at this point i am flustered with the continued issue. Will update as this issue plays out but at this time i rescind my recommendation i stated above and advise those looking for service to try other companies.Update 8/25- The issues i noted above seem to have stemmed from the ac manufacturer rather than the company. Looking to speak with management about next steps. Moved the rating to 3 stars based solely on the last 3 technicians that came out (Chris W. mainly). If Chris is a tech you get you are in great hands. He is honest and takes the time to chase all possible avenues rather than looking on the surface (after the second leak he had the whole unit reinstalled)

Awesome service and talented technicians

AC was blowing hot air in upstairs on Saturday night; downstairs thermostat indicated 72 degrees, while upstairs thermostat indicated 85 degrees. Started calling 24-hour ac repair companies Sunday morning at 8 am, Doug (actual technician) with A-1 answered the phone and was at my house within 1.5 hours. He quickly diagnosed the problem, repaired the starter motor, and had cold ac blowing upstairs within 30 mins. Great experience and will definitely recommend A-1 in the future.
