The plumber arrived on time and was very personable. We discussed prices and were able to narrow down the job to specifics since I was 100% sure where the clog was. I appreciated that he listened to me and was able to clear the clog quickly and efficiently.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We found our water heater leaking late in the day. After calling a few places and having to wait a couple of weeks for service, we reached out to A-1 and they were able to send someone out within a couple of hours. Matt came by and quickly diagnosed the issue. We ended up needing a new water heater and Matt patiently explained our options, and answered all of my questions so we fully understood everything before we made a decision. Ultimately we chose a tankless water heater. Matt saw we had 3 kids and made every effort to get us on the schedule for the next day, without us asking. The next day he arrived on time and got right to work. He ended up finishing before expected, made sure everything was in working order and that I understood everything before he left. I appreciated his professionalism, good attitude and that he treated me with respect. You could tell he truly loves his job. We are so glad we chose to call A-1 and won’t hesitate to call again in the future.

We have used Harrison’s plumbing for two years now and never plan on using someone else again! We have used countless plumbers in Hampton Roads and always were unsatisfied with them at one point or another. He has answered the phone in after-hour emergencies, he has used parts that he was saving for hi/ home on ours when we encountered product shortages and shipping delays, and he has shown up to any job - small or big- with a positive attitude. Love the food, services, atmosphere and prices. You should have seen the size of the plate of chicken tenders. And the burgers! Out of this world good. Went late on rainy wet, Winter Saturday night. Area was safe, very popular and policed parking lot. Very nice, family environment.

We had a small snafu with the City of Norfolk for my business. Some regulatory paperwork for a backflow valve got misfiled under the wrong address. Needless to say, it became a bit of an event when the Office of Cross Connections came in and wanted to shut off the water. Fortunately, AT Large was very responsive and handled the situation professionally, courteously, and promptly.

Mistakes happen, paperwork can get misplaced, etc. The important thing is making it right and being dependable when time is of the essence.
